Last season, Curbed sponsored a baseball team, the Pirates, in the Greenwich Village Little League. It was probably the best $500 we spent in 2010. For our donation, the Pirates took the field all season long in jerseys with CURBED.COM emblazoned across the back. Plus, they mailed us a jersey as well as the amazing commemorative plaque (above) which adorns the office wall at #36coop. 

We just re-upped for the 2011 season. And here’s the thing: the league organizer tells me they need 10-15 more companies to step up as sponsors. Trust me, you want to do this.
