366 days of tardis

This was a shot of me this weekend taken by my buddy David Patrick Valera as I shot the TARDIS for Day 239 of my 366 Days of TARDIS project.

It didn’t take long for my wife and I to get hooked on Doctor Who about a year and a half ago. We had passed the series numerous times on Netflix when trying to find something to watch. Finally I told her we should give it a try as I had heard bits and pieces about the show.

Like many before us, the 9th Doctor was our first and Rose our first companion. One episode turned into watching another and another. We were cramming sometimes 3 to 4 episodes in one night! As the episodes, seasons and doctors progressed our obsession grew and grew.

In my Christmas stocking last year my wife got me a mini TARDIS which lead me to do a photo-a-day project with my little blue box.

It has been a fun and challenging project to do. Every day for an entire year, trying to find an interesting place to land my TARDIS.

We’re very excited for September 1st debut of Asylum of the Daleks as it will be our first season watching the Doctor with everyone else!

Can’t wait! :)

I would like to thank each and every one of you for following this year long project, it’s been fun and challenging at the same time. I will miss carrying the TARDIS around and looking for interesting places to shoot it. Will this be the last of the TARDIS photos? Never say never. :) - erin Xavier
