So the fence isn’t going up today like we had originally planned. 😭 With the new flooring we did last weekend, we just couldnt swing another big project this pay period.

So, J got stuff to enclose the stairs in the basement so we can get started on our closet room-way cheaper then fencing! All of our clothes will be right next to the washer and dryer, and I’ll never have to carry clothes up and down the stairs🙌 I’m pretty excited about that. So now we have the wood and we were going to start cleaning and get that started, but that didn’t happen. Sigh.

So now we are working on the baby’s room. This room looked like a mini baby store after the shower! I’m finally working on the last few loads of laundry. The swing and diaper genie are set up and a bunch of stuff that we won’t need for the first few months are in his closet. As I type this, J is hanging the mesh stuffed animal holder above the changing table. And he only had to put 8 holes in the wall to get it up 😂🙈 should have been 3. Oops.

My last biweekly midwife appointment was last night. I’m up about 30-31 pounds. My midwife said that was perfect. She’s guessing I’m hanging on to about 10 pounds of water weight. Between the water weight and the placenta, she thinks I’ll drop about 10ish pounds at birth plus whatever babe weighs. She’s thinking I will easily be back to pre-pregnancy weight by my 6 week post partum visit. Ik that doesn’t necessarily mean anything but I’m huge and choosing to hold on to that hope as I waddle around for the next 6 weeks 😜🐧(no duck emoji!?)

I don’t think I ever announced little man’s name on here yet! I’m hoping to have his name decal go up above the crib tonight or tomorrow. I’ll post a picture once it’s up and I get the crib made. 💙

Nirvana in Fire (琅琊榜). Hai Yan (海宴). 2015. 

Based on an online novel by Hai Yan, Nirvana in Fire is a Chinese television drama that chronicles the complex revenge story of Lin Shu, played by Hu Ge (胡歌), whose family had been branded traitors a dozen years before. An elaborate 54-episode period drama set in the sixth century, it was aired on Dragon TV and Beijing TV in late 2015 and quickly became a phenomenon, reaching 5 billion views on the streaming site iQiyi alone. The series helped propel actors such as Liu Tao (刘涛) and Wang Kai (王凯), who portrayed primary love interest Princess Nihuang and Lin’s close friend Prince Jing respectively, into the limelight, as well as generating newfound interest in Mainland-produced television. Praised for its cinematography, Nirvana in Fire’s has drawn comparisons to Game of Thrones and The Count of Monte Cristo.

Oh boy, it really looks to me that WIT studio are going there, and episode 34 will show Chapter 77 animated!

I think the biggest clue is that screengrab of Bertolt from the ep. 34 preview. His expression is identical to this one seen in ch. 77; and if you look closely at the background in the episode preview, those clearly look like buildings (similar to those in Trost) rather than a forest of big trees.

I’m still not in agreement about moving this scene so far forward in the anime. I like it’s placement in the manga; it really contributes to Bertolt’s character development in the Return to Shiganshina story arc. However, this scene will make sense in the context of ep. 34.

We’ve already had flashbacks of Marco and Annie this season, so it doesn’t feel out of place to have another flashback with them included again. Additionally, I think they’re including this flashback now to make Reiner’s dissociative disorder more clear to anime-only viewers.

Whilst I’m not a fan of them changing the order of the manga, I still can’t wait for ep. 34. Next week can’t get here soon enough!

Born in Hawaii, Khalil Fong (方大同) is an innovative Mandopop artist who draws inspiration from soul, funk, and jazz music. Active since 2005, Fong has found success not only for his own music but also as a songwriter and producer for a wide range of artists. Paperwork for my tubal is signed. I finally got my doctor to agree that I need one, so that’s cool. The really uncool part is that because it’s a Catholic hospital, my husband had to sign that it was okay for me to get them tied. 🙄🙄🙄

My bile levels are down, so induction is off the table for the time being. My doctor didn’t know why my levels were so high for a couple days, but they’re normal again without medication, so who freaking knows. We just have to keep checking the levels in my urine every appointment and if they get elevated again we’ll order more blood work.

Imagine you and your wife want a baby pt 2

Part 1

 I am already working in part 3, will continue to work on this story. I want to finish this, and already thinking of “spin offs” given the scenerio of the setting.  I’ll go by the pen name Dr. Harris, haha. Leave me a message in the chat if you have feedback, hope you all enjoy.

—7: 12 am. Hours 17-20—

You awaken when sun shines through the large windows, beeming right onto your face. You grumble at being woken up like that and start to roll over, you feet your hips sway behind your upper body when you flip over. Tender breasts bounce and move freely as you reposition yourself on your side. They no longer defy gravity by being barely there. The areola has darkened and widened across the swell of your breasts, the nipples no longer small and dainty, but puffy and oh so tender even with just moving a little. Rubbing your eyes, you look out through the wall of glass overlooking the ocean. The sky has every hue of red, orange, and pink surrounding the sun as it erupts from the horizon, blocking out what little of the night sky remaining. The silhouette of sea oats dance in the ocean breeze from outside your window.

Sarah moans as she joins you in the waking world, your rustling waking her. The blankets were tossed off in last nights love making, leaving the two of you exposed for each other to enjoy. The sunrise paints a rainbow on all the new and expanding curves across her velvet smooth skin. She opens her eyes to look at the new you, head to toe. They go wide, she smiles brighter than the sun that woke you up.

“Oh my, baby…” Sarah giggles as she sits up, she herself noticing her larger middle now. She rubs her tummy gently in circles, then moves her hands under, really feeling the weight of her child for the first time. “…we will have to start calling each other little mamas, babies we are no more.” You smile at her joke, blushing at the realization of it all. Her belly is fuller across her hips, leaving her midsection teardrop shaped much like her heavy bosom. Sarah surprises you as she swings her leg over you and starts to find a comfortable position to straddle you. Hair stands on end when she descends on your legs, the tight skin of your wombs pressing as your weights combine.

“Tomorrow we will have to call ourselves big mamas!” You reply, reach out to your bellys and patting them. You take your fingernails up and down the oval crest of both of your wombs, feeling where skin so tightly pressed from being full with child. You feel yourself sink into the soft bed rather deeper than you expected as she takes the weight off of her knees, her legs splayed to the side, fully settled on you. She is significantly heavier than last time she rode you like this, but of course that was last weekend. She has grown over night, rather nicely you think, and she will only get more heavy as her body prepares to feed and nourish your child.  Sarahs child is doing its best as it tries reaches to your belly button, which is reaching higher and in the air.

You finally take a long look at the two of you and marvel at the size difference. You don’t know if it’s just because you are so petite and small compared to your wife, but you are showing so, so much more! You look at the watch. 17:34, 17th week. Your wife’s belly resting on yours is truely a “baby bump” compared to you. If she wore a shirt large enough or that cute sundress yesterday she could hide her pregnancy and claim it on that delicious buffet if no one looked close enough. Not you though. Even if you did bring a shirt large enough to cover your growing self, your belly is just starting to overflow the sides of your natural waist. You are filling out litterally everywhere and in every ditection!

Your mind is racing, you feel yourself warm wet as your wife softly strokes the sides of your tummy, feeling the soft line where you end and your child begins.  Sarah leans over and tries to kiss you, her swollen, large breasts lifting off her chest as she moves in. Her nipples are puffy just like yours, but hers so much darker larger. But your bumps stop her advance, unable to kiss your lips that desire nothing else of this world.  You gasp for air as she is trying to find the angle of approach to kiss you, your bellys are so firm as they continue to caress each other. She sees you struggling to keep control. She is now toying with you, she tries to approach your lips the left side, rolling her belly slowly over yours. The wombs are so tight, you feel like almost having to turn over onto your side to let her over you, skin not budging. She is almost short of breath as you from pleasure but she rolls her belly over to the right, repeating the slow pull of skin over yours. Now, she is teasing herself.  Her lips as soft and dark as black velvet, so full and sweet like nectar. You are dying of thirst for her, you grab her love handles and try to force her on you so you can drink her up, but again your bellys meet first and makes it impossible from her sitting on top.

“Oh sexy little mama, what have we got ourselves into?” She explores your breasts, cupping and squeezing them. Your mouth opens but you can’t even make a sound. “Our babies said don’t want us to kiss, they are jealous. They are going to grow so fast to where we can’t even hug each other. They only want us to give them attention all day by rocking them to sleep.” She takes her hands from your breasts and places them to your child, her hips starts to ride you in place. You feel the weight of each of your tummys adding to the momentum of the motion. The headboard starts to knock on the wall.

You are absolutetly going out of your mind, you want to scream at the frustration, your legs start to shake, you start to sweat. She continues to play with the struggle of being unable to kiss you, purposefully pressing the bellys together so slowly as she rocks you. Her one hand slips slowly down between your legs where you are wet with pleasure. She teases you, just within reach of your clitoris as you feel her play between your lips.

You break, you cannot handle her teasing you anymore. Frantically, you force yourself up and over to meet her soft, beautiful lips. Your bellys cannot help but to push into each other even tighter than she was to tease you, the pressure between the four of you now has send Sarah onto her back, almost bouncing off the bed. You look in her eyes and she has that look that turns you into an animal, the maternal hormones from pregnancy is just sending you into overdrive. Your hands grab her swelled up breasts still moving from when your tummys forced you apart, you grab them and you feel her soft breasts squeeze between your fingers. They were large before, compared to your anyway, but never more than a handful. Now you need bigger hands to fully cup just one. You place her erect nipple in your palm and play, making them go hard. Your mouth moves to them, giving each nipple a prolonged kiss, playing with them with your tounge. Using your nails, you gently rake her firm belly so, so slowly over the top of her hill, then back down. Her fingers grip the sheets, unable to handle the teasing you now are paying her back with. Your hands keep going down and down until they find between her thighs.

Your lips are finding their way over the crest of her belly, her sweat tasting like heaven when you hear a knock. You first think it’s the headboard again, but there is the knock again. You both freeze in place, returning to earth. Shocks of reality now fill your body. Goosebumps from anxiety. You both look at the door.

“Hold on, give us a minute!” Sarah shouts at the door. You both just look at each other and sigh. She whispers in your ear “We will just have to continue this later, when our babies push us even further away.” She gently pushes you off by pressing her hand on your firm middle, squeezing it slightly as you fall off of her. You hold in a yelp as that felt so good, the resistance your child gave to being squeezed. You playfully smack her ass as she leans off the bed, giggling as she retreats from the bed. You watch her bottom move with her jumping away from you, moving in time with her wide, motherly hips even more than usual now with the added inches.

Sarah leans over to pick up the sundress she wore yesterday. She tries to put it on, having to tug on it in anguish in all directions just to cover herself. You were totally wrong before about her being able to hide in that dress. She is smaller than you, tummy wise, but you underestimated the extra growth the body does in preperation for a child. The fabric is stretching nearly to its max all over by the time she finishes struggling over her bottom. The dress is so much shorter in the front to accomodate the extra fabric needed to cover her child, the top of the dress stretches out, doing its sad attempt to contain her breasts readying for new job at hand. The fabric across her hips and ass also pull up the back hem, the dress needing all the extra inches of fabric to cover the new expanse of your wife. She tugs at the front and back hem of the dress, trying to make it more even with the sides but its hopeless, it cannot give much more. Given the situtation all she would need to do is wear this dress for a little longer and the dress will start to slowly peal from the seams off of her, unable to contain the glow from your fertility goddess. You realize just in time to cover your bare self in the bed sheet when she finally opens the door. The sheet settles over your head as you cover yourself in embarassment.

The door opens and you hear Sarah greet someone. The voice is Mary’s, coming to wake you up.

“Good morning ladies! I hope your first night was comfortable. Oh! May I?” You hear your wife reply in agreeance.

You peek out from under the sheet and see Mary patting Sarahs tummy. She giggles, places her hands on her hips and purposefully sticks out her belly and waves it like a flag. The fabric is struggling, you see the fabric pucker around her middle and across her backside.

“Oh goodness you’re going to need a new dress soon!” She tries to grab the tiniest bit of extra fabric from her dress to tug at it, but was unable to find any, every inch being used to house the growing shrine for your child.

“Yeah, if I had known what we we getting into, I would of packed more sweat pants and more pajamas. Speaking of which, what are we getting into today?”

“It is 8 now, by 9 I need you back at the exam room we were in yesterday.” Mary answers. “While its obvious you are growing at the typical rate, we want to confirm with ultrasounds that everything is fine.” Mary pauses. “Hey, where is your wife? Did she go to the buffet? I know when I undergo this, I am always hungry.”

On cue, you sit up from the crumpled sheets, keeping your new curves covered. You think to yourself ‘Yeah, I am hungry, but not just for food.’ Mary laughs as you rise from the bed. “And there she is! Do you mind if I see your progress?”

You blush and turn away a little. Your wife, knowing you perfectly, answers for you. “We had just woken up when you knocked on our door. I barely had time to throw on the dress I wore yesterday to open the door. She has not managed to dress herself.” You bunch the covers a little more, having to take into account there is more of you to cover now.

“Ah, that’s okay.” She walks over to the bed “But even with the sheets bunched uo, I still notice you a little rounder in the tum-tums. I can just make out your cute bump. Can I get a sneak preview from under the warm sheets prior to the cold exam room?”  You take a moment to think; at this point you figure why not. You know during the procedure she has already seen all of you from the most unglamorous angled. Spinning around, you use your hands to pull tight on the sheets to fully show your growth. Under the sheets you feel your child is just just resting on the inside of your thighs as you sit up. Mary puts her hands over her mouth, then laughs as she realizes what is going on. “Oh, just look at you, my watch for you two says 18 hours, and Sarah looks right on point.” She leans over and uses her hands to guesstimate your size.  “I bet you feel closer to 25 , huh? This can only mean one thing!  You want to know why you look so much bigger?” You both nod, eager to hear a reply. Her eyes are full of excitement “ TWINS!” She starts clapping in excitement. “You said you were a twin, right? That totally has a genetic component! We place two fertilized eggs in each person, the vast majority of the time just one takes. The only time where the second one will take more than 20% of the time is when someone is a twin!”

The news hits you like a ton of bricks, a shock wave down your body as you take it in, not from arousal but anxiety. Twins. Not just two, three total between you and your wife. You will be going home as a family of 5. Triplets. Sarah leans against the wall as she faces the new reality of the situation. Your hands subconsciously finds your babies, in the plural now, and hug them tight. You swear you feel a flutter from inside of you now that both of them have been acknoledged.

“Well, no time to waste! Be ready at 9 for the first time to see your triplets!” She makes her way towards the door. She turns back for a moment. “Oh, Dr. Harris will love to hear this. When we have a case of multiples, she personally wants to meet to oversee everything! I only had 3 other multiple cases since I have worked here, so exciting! I think right now there is no one else expecting multiples, so you will be the local celebrity!” You see Mary rush to a passing staff member to share your news, more excited clapping in the halls. Sarah waves at Mary and closes the door. Your eyes meet and just stare, taking it all in.

“Twins, Sarah….triplets in total. We are a family of five now” You unfold the sheet to expose your children, holding them at the sides of your expanding womb, patting them. You swear you think it is even larger than it was since you woke up an hour ago, you feel the curve extend just a little further further. Well, in fact, it is. Your children are asking for more room, filling you out to be more circular than rain drop shaped like Sarah.

You stand up from the bed “Well…we better get ready and - Oommphh!” You immediately fall back on the bed, the force you applied to trying to get up was simply not enough to bring the three of you off the bed. Your new fluffy breasts bounce with you on the bed, tugging the skin as they move up and down. You watch then settle, the new handful of breast forces your once perky, upward facing nipples downward as they expand to prepare for your children, each one to nurse a child now. As you stand for a second time, more slowly now, you need to adjust yourself for the your new center of gravity drifting you more forward. The first time standing since yesterday, you feel the full weight of your belly wanting to tug down. You place your hands under your stomach, really feeling the weight of the babies. You really believe the twins idea now, you do look over midway through a regular pregnancy.

“Hey Sarah…” You now have a new problem:
all the cute beach outfits Sarah picked out for you are not going to fit at all.“…I might need to borrow some of your clothes.” You kick at the jeggings that lay on the floor. “I don’t think those would even fit halfway up my thighs now.” You motion at your chest. “And…maybe a bra too. I can actually fill one out now!” Before you never wore a bra, and if you were wearing something thin you would just apply a pastie over your nipple. You don’t even own a bra, the closest thing being a bikini top or one of the tank tops with the shelf bra built in. The pasties you brought wouldn’t even over up your dark areola now.

“Now hold on, let me be the final decision maker for this.” Sarah cups your beasts, pretending them weigh them like on a scale. “Hm….hmmmmm…nope. You are not large enough to wear any bras yet.” She let’s go, doing her best to ignore your breasts swaying as she does. “You simply haven’t filled out enough.”

“What!!” Laughter can be heard in your shout.“If I didn’t know better, I would say you just want to watch me grow without a bra holding me back.” Leaning over to grab your suitcase, you pose yourself to let her see your new breasts hang off your chest. “Thank goodness you’re a certified expert, otherwise I would be taken advantage of.” You place the bag on the bed and sort through the clothes to try and find something.

“You did marry a professional.” She grabs her bag and places it on the bed beside yours. As usual, she has the better fashion sense. The two of you manage to find something to fit the both of you. Outside of your belly, you are still overall smaller than your wife by nearly 50 pounds. A pair of her jean shorts held up with a belt that bunches up the fabric as you put it on the tightest notch fits you fine along with a simple purple tank top. It stretches over your child tightly and does manage to reach under to meet where the shorts rest under the swell, but it is also a spandex blend so it has a lot of give. The bust of the shirt does remind you that you do still have catching up to do to Sarah, the only thing loose on the shirt. Sarah does stick to the rule that you haven’t grown into wearing a bra yet, so you get used to the new weight up top swaying and bobbing with your movements. She is such a tease, you swear to get back at her before this weekend is up. You each start to get your toiletries out so you can be ready for the first exam.

As the morning minutes march on, she continues to tug at the dress, you see that it inched up higher on her legs, the fabric being used for her child growing ever forward. The seams now are really starting to pucker, you see her dark skin between where the back buttons are straining to hold on just a little longer.

You both are almost ready now. A ritual you always preform for your wife in the morning is to braid her hair. In another life you imagine yourself as a famous hairdresser. Your lifeless, dull blonde hair failed to inspire you. Sarah’s jet black hair, full of body and waves that reaches to the small of her back is what honestly made you first lay eyes on her. Indian hair is infamous for their luxury and thickness, always used for extensions and wigs - which she will probably never have to worry about in her life. You ask her to sit down at the little desk chair so you can reach her hair.

As you design an elaborate braid with her locks, you see the dress press deeper within her soft thighs, her breasts overflow the top band, and you see her struggle to get the fabric of the dress enough room to allow her bum to fully spread across the seat - the fabric holding in her growing hips makes her uncomfortable.

“Oh honey, this dress might just be too tight…” Sarah turns to look at you, the fabric now even restricting her being able to turn all the way. “I feel my tummy could rest out another inch if it’s off, so painfully tight, and look at my thighs!” She playfully pats the skin, which jiggles with the movement. “I just might need to cut off this dress.”

“No, no….” your mind is starting to race again, you find it hard to finish off the braid. “I’m…I’m the dress size expert.” Tieing off the braid haphazardly, your hands manage to find the small hem of fabic on her that isnt buried in skin. “You are still too small for the dress, see!” You gently tug at it, but even tha slight motion you felt like it would rip off. The only thing you want in this world now is this dress get destroyed by your wife’s beautiful, growing body. “You need to wear it until you fill it -” Your flirting is interrupted by the first of the back buttons between her shoulder blades popping off, hitting your tummy. The other 4 manage to fillow suit. This allows for the bust of the dress to give room, her breasts now lurch forward, taking up all the room that was just freed from their imprisonment. You feel the familiar wamth between your legs, you want to see the rest of this rip off.

“I’m afraid we don’t have anything to cut the dress off of you. You’ll have to tear it…with no hands.” You take a second elastic hair band and place her hands together in it behind her back. Sarah’s eyes widen as she realizes what you want to see.

You move to sit on the bed so you can watch the firework show about to start, your hands finding your babies to rub. Sarah tries to spread her legs, but the fabric keeps tugging and tugging, forcing them together, and you see distress and arousal on her face. She starts to bounce in the chair, all of her body moving her in rhythm. The dress barely covers her sex, her belly, thighs, and hips using up all the extra fabric that once was mid thigh yesterday.  Her areola is just peaking out of the top of the bust, her breasts about burst up and over. Then you hear it, first rip of fabric just after two jumps. It starts across the widest part of her taught tummy and rapidly expands up and down the side seam. The fabric isn’t given a break, her belly immediately filling the space in the middle, which cauzes the seam to rip faster. As it speads down, her hips fill in where the space is given. The seam stops ripping up right under the bustline, where once her waist was the smallest part of her body it has moved upward due to being with child. The only reason the dress didn’t completely rip in two was due to the buttons giving the breasts room earlier. Sarah is nearly in shock from surprise and arousal. You jump up and grab your wife, hands start to explore her body, trying to remove the shreds of the dress as fast as you can.

Your eyes happen to see the time, 9:48. Youre both wet from the performance, but reality sets in. You try and breathe in and out slowly, controlling your lust.

“Okay…” you get out between breaths, finally breathing normal. You kiss your wife’s for head as you stand up.  “We only got 10 minites. Dress size expert says you can wear something a little more….accommodating to your new dimentions.”

A white, flowing maxi dress easily fits over your wife. While it is an absolutely stunning dress, pure white that shines brightly on her midnight skin, you are a little sad that it does cover her tummy well. The bust, however, leaves barely anything to the imagination. Between the pushup bra, her bosom swollen over the top of the bra, and the way the top of the dress is designed, her overflowing breasts bounce and jiggle in time to her steps. Walking your wife to your appointment, you swear she is exaggerating her movements to make her bounce even more. She knows how to drive you wild. Hand in hand, you walk down the halls to your exam room.

Mary is waiting for you outside of the room, waving as you approach.

“Hello again! Running a little bit late this morning, so let’s get started! Dr. Harris is already in the exam room, she came over as soon as she could finding out about you!” She opens the door, allowing you to enter first. Walking in, you do see Dr Harris in the room. She has her back towards you, sitting on a rolling chair, scooting over to adjust different equipment.

“The Patel-Smiths, correct? Go ahead and take off your shoes. Mary will chart your weight gain while I finish setting up the ultrasound.” You notice that even for the morning, Dr. Harris sounded tired. But you are sure trying to run this place is exhausting.

Sarah goes first. Mary records the hour on the watches: 19:12. She flips off her sandals and approaches the scale. Mary records the number in the chart. 158 lbs for your wife. “Excellent, right on target! At this point you’ve gained about 13 pounds so far. Step off and let’s see what Miss Over Achiever has gained.” Sarah proceeds to one of the two exam tables as you step up. “Over achiever indeed!” Mary exclaims as she charts your new gains down: 117 pounds. “19 pounds gained just overnight! Now, from here on out your weight will gain even more rapidly, if you can believe it, so keep visiting the buffet! At this point Sarah, you should be gaining a pound an hour, by the end you should gain 20 more pounds, a total of about 35 or so by the time you meet your baby face to face. Miss A Plus Student here gets to have extra trips to the desert table, you will need to gain 2 pounds an hour, so 40 pounds! 60 pounds all in all!”

Looking to your new wide hips, swollen, growing breasts, and stretching, taught tummy; the talk of weight gain makes you feel hungry, even after that giants feast last night. This is the first time you’ve been able to gain any substantial  weight your entire life. You have a new mission at the buffet table: you want your bundles of joy to grow up big and strong as possible while safe in your  womb, to make all the room they want inside where it is warm and safe. You need large birthing hips that widen over the hours, to cradle them softly as they grow. Bosoms need to be absolutely bursting with milk soon, a continual feast for your babies for at least the first year to provide the best nutrients to them, so they can continue to grow almost as fast as they were inside of you. You feel various parts of you jiggle and sway as you make it to your exam table. So many new movements and sways.

You both sit on the exam tables as Dr Harris finally spins around in the chair. Both of you are surprised, yesterday you suspected she was as round as you are now, today her stomach speads her legs wide apart as it now takes up most of the chair. Her womb extends high under her ribs, flowing outward nearly mid thigh. Her belly is completely smooth and a perfect orb, the only feature is the knob of her popped out belly buton across the black stretch fabric dress. Her bosom in a bra ready for the difficult mission at hand, it holds steady the breasts that easily extends as far out from her body as you now. She must be already in her final 24 hours, full term! Dr. Harris looks down and caresses her child, then makes eye contact woth the two of you while hands still subconsciously making circling motions, soothing her baby.

“I look a little different from yesterday, huh? Don’t be too shocked, look at yourselves compared to yester - OOPPHH” Dr. Harris has the wind knocked out of her. She places her hands on her globe and pats, gathering her wind back “Now calm down you two. I know both of you like to move around, I’ll get up.”

Her one hand moves to the small of her back, the other on the edge of your exam table. She manages to find the strength to launch herself forward. She almost looses balance until Mary swoops in to help her. Her legs are spread to balance her new center of gravity as she stands. Both of her hands now rest on the small of her back as steadys herself, her heaving stomach making standing up a constant battle for the doctor. Even leaning back, her stomach still is so swollen that it is starting to sway low due to the weight.

“I heard that we are twins, the only two having multiples at the facility now!” She laughs as she takes in the surprised looks on your faces. “A first! I personally want to be involved in more…involved cases so I am excited to be here, even in my state. Normally when I am large like this I just resume desk duty, but this is a special occasion” She motions with one hand for Mary to position the ultrasound equipment and her patients. “Let’s get started!”

Mary starts with Sarah. The flowing dress is bunched up so her belly is left to the open air. It rises up and down with her breathing, but you swear it never falls back down the same distance, milmeters higher with each breath. Cold gel goes on her tummy and you see goosebumps rise across her skin. Dr. Harris struggles to find the best way to position her distended stomach to best reach Sarah. She does her best to lean over, using the table as support, and reaches to use the wand on her. Mary tries to help, but the doctor shoos her away.

“This isn’t my first rodeo, my second set of twins, I got this.” She places the wand over Sarahs cute baby bump, about the size you were before going to bed last night. The screen is blurry and looks like nothing as far as you can tell. The wand travels to find Sarahs child. Then you see it, your baby comes into full view. Tears of joy fall on your face as you see it wiggle and dance around, being shy. This can’t be real, this cannot be happening. “While we are able to use both your DNA, since there is no Y chromosome in the mix, all children born to two female parents are always female. No point determining gender here.” Dr. Harris explains.

You grab your wife’s hand as you both watch your daughter dance in her womb. “Dance while you can, my baby girl.” Sarah holds the side of her belly where no gel has been yet, patting the little ballerina. Across your hips you feel that simular feeling from last night where your belt line is, your new skin is wanting to escape the confines of the retraints. You did tighten it all the way to help keep Sarahs jeans on. Since you’re sitting down, you just go ahead and unbuckle it for now. Belts always dig in while sitting. When released your tummy moves slightly more forward.

“Yeah…” Dr Harris interjects, “…my fighting boys are still trying to wrestle despite the lack of room.” She glances at her watch that looks identical to yours. “And at 36 hours, they will continue to fight for a little while. We manage to make all pregnancies full term, we have never delivered a child that was less than 40 equivalent weeks.” She winces as it seems that they take another blow to her diaphragm. “As much as that fact hurts us at times…it’s the best for them” Dr. Harris tries to soothe her boys once more.

Screenshots are printed of the ultrasound, measurements and vitals taken, and baby girl #1 is given a clean bill of health. The last thing given is a 3 stage shot to the hip. Sarah yelps a little as the needles are driven into the swollen, new fluff on her by Mary.

“Now this is the secret formula that makes it all possible.” Dr . Harris continues. “We already delivered it yesterday to you, and for single pregnancies we need to give it just once a day. For multiples, we need to deliver it as many times a day as there are babies. It’s one part the growth formula for the babies themselves, next it allows the placenta and uterus to work with the babies without harm to them or you, and lastly it allows your body to make the other nessary changes: weight gain, widened hips, milk production, and more. The last 24 hours we simply don’t give it to you, to allow it to wean out of your body naturally. At the point we see growth setttle, we will induce labor. A side effect of the growth factor is that labor will not occur even once it has worn off.” She laughs nervously. “Ask me how I know.” Your mind imagines the idea of just being indefinitely pregnant…and you like it, really like it. So large, heavy, like an eternal fertility goddess beeming with life. You push the thought to the back of your mind, about to be examined yourself in a moment.

Once Dr. Harris has finished recording into Sarahs chart the findings, she then asks Mary for your exam table to be lowered, so the can perform your exam while seated. Even just standing for 15 minutes wore her out. She plops heavily onto the rolling chair, it sinks and creeks, almost causing it to give under her. She widens her legs to allow her twin boys to overflow in front of her and off the front small chair. She huffs a little as she scoots the chair towards you. The chair does have wheels, but they are pushed down to their max with the three of them on the chair. You raise the purple tank top up. Your belly high in the air now, like a hill, soon to be a mountain.  Without the shirt on, you see developing now is the slight  indention where your womb is cradled perfectly between your motherly hips, starting to grow a little wider than your hip bones are. The gel is placed on the rising crest of your stomach. Goosebumps fly up all over your body. The screen is fuzzy as Dr Harris tries to find your babies. Sarah made it behind you, holding your shoulders tight, nearly hopping up and down in excitement. “Oh, there’s the first one…” You see her shape form on the screen. “Beautiful and strong…and there is number two!” You both gasp, tears swell. They dance and swirl around on the screen, you feel their fluttering as well. The minutes roll on by as you coo over the twins. You discuss names, trying to come up with 3 names that fit into a theme. You imagine who will take after whom, and start to spin yarns for their whole lives. This goes on for nearly 20 minutes as the doctor records all the nessary data.

The measurements and vitals taken, including the shot in the hip. Another round of a clean bill of health. Dr. Harris is about to end the session with needing to record one more measurement from your babjes when she stares at the screen with a puzzled look on her face. She moves the wand around more carefully now, very deliberate.

“Is…something wrong?” Sarah asks.

“No, no…I just thought I saw….oh…OH!” She pushes a button on the wand, quickly takes a photo of the flash on the screen.  She pauses and is quiet, studying the screen, whispering between her and Mary. After what seems a lifetime, they finally speak to you.

“You are, in fact, not caring twins Mrs. Patel-Smith.” She pauses, gathering your responses. You feel lightheaded, just realizing you’re holding your breath for a solid minute. Your heart sinks at the news, you swore you saw two babies on the photos, but you’re not the doctor afterall…

Dr Harris goes through the collection of screenshots, prints one, and grabs apen. The photo is laid out on the table, she circles one baby and labels it with a #1. Then again for #2. Your heart races.

Then again for #3.

“Congratulations, you have defied the odds and are actually having triplets! Including Sarah, genetic quadruplets!”

You’re in complete shock. You just had an hour to come to grips with twins…now…triplets? Quadruplets?? A family of 6 litterally overnight. Wait…the dream last night. There was 4 children in your yard, your body knew what was going on and was trying to tell  you. You eventually process a little of the information as the last vitals are taken. You look at your wife in astonishment. She looks nervous with all the news, but is smiling all the same.

The appointment wraps up just over an hour, just past 10. While Sarah only needs to have her next follow up tomorrow, your three babies needs to have their booster shots, once at 3pm, and then lastly at 9pm. Then the same times tomorrow. As you carefully manuver your new belly off the table, the jeans start to ride down a little. Blushing and embarassed, you pull them back up. Before you had the belt on the tightest notch, now the belt rests tight on your hips loosened by 3 notches. You look at your watch: 20:21. Curious, just as you two are about to leave you step over to the scale. 121 lbs. 4 pounds in the hour!

Dr. Harris sees the digital read out, remembering your previous weight. “Oh, one more thing! Since you are expecting 3 times the fun, we need even more weight gain per hour, 3 per hour,  so about 60 pounds by this time tomorrow. With the current weight gain, that’s a sturdy 80 pounds total!”

You gasp. “I only weighed 98 pounds when I got here! I never weighed more than 100 in my life, I am to nearly double my weight in 24 hours?” You try to imagine yourself weighing nearly 200lbs, it’s intimidating but also exciting.

Dr. Harris laughs as she pats her tummy, “Better join me and the boys at the buffet then; we got some serious work to do!”
