day thirteen » saddest moment » Veronica ready to shoot
I get chills during this scene every time. We don’t get to see Veronica with this kind of emotion much, but when we do, oh man. Anywho, this is soso sad, and I don’t feel the need to explain myself for this (without giving anything away)
moment I would’ve included if it weren’t all background talk:
“Hello! Is anyone back there? Hi. I need to talk to someone about the noise level in my neighbourhood which is truly out of control. I mean, ya got motorcycle gangs, gun shots, heavy metal music; it’s gotten to the point where I can’t even sleep at night! I’ll bet if my zip code ended in 0909, you’d have a patrol car swinging by the house every ten minutes: "Good evening, Mr. Weevil, is there anything we can do for you?” That kind of service. But no, it’s the bario. So you figure, hey, they’ll sort it out themselves. And don’t get me started on what this doing to the property values in my neighbourhood! I have a good mind to run for the city council, and if I win I’ll promise you this: Heads. Will. Roll. I’m wondering if I’m better off speaking with your supervisor. […] You leave the sheriff a note. He shouldn’t expect Eli Navarro’s esquires vote this year.“ *he dings the bell*
day nineteen » favourite song used in an episode » Momentary Thing in Weapons of Class Destruction
VM seriously has one of the best television soundtracks, in my opinion… so it was difficult picking just one. Maybe it was my biased shippy-ness but I think this song and look of it all goes really well together.
day fourteen » something you wish had happened » some Wallace & Mac interaction!!
It’s not even that I wanted them to get together, it’s just that they were Veronica closest friends and we never actually got a moment in which they exchanged words! They could’ve had an interesting dynamic, I think.
As much as I love mysteries, I’m awful at solving them on my own. When I watched VM for the first time, I was kind of young and so, maybe it’s just me, but when I was younger I really only could make sense of the beginning of a mystery (aka what the big tragedy is ex. Lilly Kane was murdered, a bus full of kids crashed into the ocean, etc.) and the end (aka who dunnit) the middle I couldn’t really make sense out of. And so, by the time I was able to understand the middle parts, I knew what happened in the end. So honestly, all of the mysteries were shocking to me… Anywho, going to back to my first point, I’m the worst at solving mysteries (crime shows don’t count because each show has a sort of formula so I don’t even have to think about it, I just know…) and so none of the VM cases were predictable to me!! :p
