Hey I'm currently eating 1600-1800cals on average but I don't if this is enough? Like I feel full (I think) and kind of fear that when I eat more I gain weight and look chubby. I'm only 153cm too and just walk for 30mom daily plus yoga so I don't feel like I really deserve more anyway. I want to continue developing so I don't know if I'm feeding myself enough to do that but I don't want to be fat... See my dilemma? Ahah :(

hey! i think you’ve answered your own question love, if you are having doubts over whether or not you’re eating enough - chances are, you know you’re not, but you’re trying to justify undereating to yourself. you don’t have to do anything to ‘deserve’ food, we NEED food everyday regardless of if we’re running a marathon or just being a potato in bed, our body NEEDS it to function at its most basic level. it’s not something to be earned based on the amount of exercise we do! i’m guessing you’re young and still growing, so if you want your mind and body to reach their most amazing potential, you have to fuel yourself adequately :) eat good amounts of good food, and the rest will fall into place, your body will find its happy set point. and honestly, weight gain is not the worst thing in the world - what’s worse, being a good person who’s not stick thin, or being a horrible, mean person who has a slightly better body? i know who i’d prefer to be friends with x

For me, this isn’t enough. For some, it will be enough. Just because you are 153cm tall and do certain amounts of exercise, doesn’t mean you should eat a certain amount. EVERYBODY is different. My advice? If you don’t know your body well enough, then you should seek professional advice. Get them to tell you what is right for you. And I mean a proper dietician. Just one or two appointments would do the trick to get you started. You can bring up every concern with them and ask them any question. And they will give you the answers relevant to you, and only you. But for me, I would say no, it’s not enough. But I am different to you. See my dilemma? I can’t give you good advice, so I won’t give you any advice. I’m sorry, I wish I could help. xxx big love
