30 Day Pixar Meme
16/30: Favorite “A Bug’s Life” Character

This one’s actually a little harder than the last one.  I really like A Bugs Life and I think all the characters in it are really well fleshed out and fun
But I’m gonna have to go with my main ant, Flik.  He’s just such a goof ball!  He’s smart, he’s creative but he’s a big old screw up.  I think he’s just so relable to all us nerds who feel outcast and only want to leave our mark on society.  Plus Dave Foley’s voice acting is so much fun.  Yup, love me some Flik

Your favorite Pixar movie

It’s a tough call between The Incredibles and Wall-e. On one hand, you have a post-apocalyptic movie about a robot cleaning up the earth who is sent into space when meeting an other-worldly machine, and on the other hand, we have a dysfunctional family of superheroes who have to deal with a crazed fan boy gone maniacal. I think in the end, I love The Incredibles the most because the story was wholly original, and for the subject of superheroes, that’s really hard to do. It had basically everything that makes a movie great: comedy, tragedy, drama, the works. This was also the first movie that starred human protagonists. This was Pixar’s biggest challenge, since they never really focused on animating people, and they tackled it beautifully.

Superladies? They’re always trying to tell you their secret identity… think it’ll strengthen the relationship or something like that. I say, “Girl, I don’t wanna know about your mild-mannered alter ego or anything like that. I mean, you tell me you’re, uh… S-Super, Mega, Ultra Lightning Babe, that’s alright with me. I’m good… I’m good.
