This is partially inspired by @knight-enchanter and @omegastation‘s 30 days til Mass Effect: Andromeda countdown [x]. I tried to keep the prompts vague because it’s still a month out from release and the amount of gif material for this game is limited. Enjoy!

MEA Countdown Ryder Meme - 30 days left

Well, actually, it’s 32 days for me, but shhhhhh …

Will you play as SisRyder or BroRyder first? Why? How does your Ryder define their gender?

I will be playing as SisRyder first! I’m a girl, and, well, I like playing girls. And I also really love having a kickass squad that’s 100% girls.
My Ryder will probably be a cis female, who is a really “girly girl”. She wanted to be more tomboyish when she was younger, to appear “cool” and because she didn’t want to be like “the other girls”, but when she got older she realized how stupid that was, and now just does what she wants, which is wearing pink 99% of the time.

30 Days: Will you play SisRyder or BroRyder first? Why? How does your Ryder define their gender?

I will play as SisRyder (& cisRyder)! and probably never as BroRyder tbh. I just like to play a female character whenever I can, and after that first playthrough, I will be too attached to my Ryder to play as anyone else, as usual!

Day 30:  Will you play SisRyder or BroRyder first? Why? How does your Ryder define their gender?

SisRyder, probably. Given a choice, I tend to play female first. It’s just what I’ve gotten used to, in my long history of RP. Also, I have a name for her, not yet for BroRyder, so…

I confess, gender identity’s not something I tend to give much thought to, it’s never played more than an unconscious role in my own personal life. Consequently, none of my characters really do either. To my Ryder, she was born female, and she’s comfortable/satisfied with that.

MASS EFFECT: ANDROMEDA 30 DAY COUNTDOWN RYDER MEME

32 Days: Will you play SisRyder or BroRyder first? Why? How does your Ryder define their gender?

SisRyder, I’m female myself and I love being able to play female character since the majority of games have male protagonists.

My Ryder doesn’t think much about her gender, if she ever wanted to know what she’d look like as a boy she just had to look at her twin, they look creepily similar. She’s not overly feminine neither is she overly masculine she just is, in her opinion.

Monday 8:27am
I woke up with you on my mind.
You called me babe last night —
my heart is still pounding.

Tuesday 10:53pm
Today I realized we won’t work.
What we are is hurting her.
And I think she matters more to me than you do.

Wednesday 11:52pm
I broke things off with you today.
She barely said a word.
I’ve never regretted anything more than this.

Thursday 4:03pm
I shouldn’t have sent that message.
You shouldn’t have been so okay with receiving it.

Friday 9:57pm
I almost messaged you today.
I didn’t.

Saturday 8:49pm
I’m walking around town in search of alcohol.
They say that liquor numbs the pain of having a broken heart.
I want to put that to the test.

Sunday 2:32am
I heard you texted a girl you’ve never spoken to before.
I wonder if it’s because you’re trying to replace me.
I can’t help but wish you weren’t.
I thought I was irreplaceable.

Move on, leave, run away, escape this place… but don’t forget about me, about us, about this town. Always remember where you come from so you can appreciate how far you’ve come.
