Day 7: Airport Fashion

The pictures speak for themselves. This man got this. He has made the airport his won catwalk teaching us how it’s done. I am mesmerized by him once again.

30 Day Witchy Journal Challenge

DAY TWENTY-SIX: EVER MADE A SACHET? IF SO, WHAT WERE THE INGREDIENTS? IF NOT, EXPLAIN THE SYMBOLISM YOU FIND IN A FAVOURITE CRYSTAL OR HERB.

Truth be told, I’ve never made a sachet or any kind of witchy bag if my bottle magic doesn’t count. I’d love to make a sachet sometime, so I think instead of writing about symbolism, I’ll share a few sachet ideas I’ve found around!

Sachet for Psychic Ability by @lavenderlunaa

Ingredients:

• Bay leaves - aids in clairvoyance and stimulate psychic powers.
• Lavender - aid in meditation, recalling dreams, clairvoyance, and helps open the third eye.
• Rosemary - Aids in having visions and prophetic dreams, creativity, and to recall past lives.
• An empty tea bag or cloth and string to use as the sachet (I reuse tea bags to make my sachets)

While creating your sachet keep your intent in mind, that you want this to help aid you in enhancing your psychic abilities! All you need to do is put the ingredients into your sachet, then carry it with you or hang it in a space you do your work in. For a little extra energy in it, place near a quartz crystal or let it soak of the energies of the sunlight or moonlight. :)

(My note: You could add amethyst into the sachet as well for protection and psychic abilities!)

Simple Sachet for Inspiration/Creative Endeavours by @eclecticwitcheryafoot

Ingredients:

  • Cinnamon - Aids in inspiration, happiness, harmony.
  • Rosemary - Aids in creativity, purification, memory.

Place in a yellow bag and carry around to encourage creativity or to more easily spark some inspiration!

Against the Nightmares Sachet by @olliethepants

Ingredients:

  • Coffee - Used to ward off negative energy, aids in clarity
  • Thyme - Used to prevent nightmares, increases strength, courage.
  • Rice - Aids in protection, prevents evil spirits from bothering.

Either draw on a sigil or stitch it into the pouch. Energize.

I plan on making a couple of these sachets sometime soon. Sachets and charms are super awesome for simple ideas and I love that they don’t require a ton of intricate ingredients or steps to make.
