I know monthly challenges don’t fix anything but I really enjoy doing them as I feel a great sense of accomplishment once I finish and even if I don’t get to do a proper workout on certain days I still feel like I’ve achieved something, this month I’ve chosen a few different ones ^ plus of course the 30 day abs and 30 day squats beginner level 2

30 day challenge - Unfuck Your Life

Hey lovelies. So yesterday, as I was just being my scroll-y little self, I came across this post  - and figured that was a goddamn good idea.

BUT. But my goals weren’t the same (they would’ve been fun, but not really what I need right now), and as such I’d need to adapt most of the items. 

Being also my lazy self, I just decided to start a new list from scratch. Feel free to use it, abuse it, do it, share it. But if you do start it, I’d love it if you told me how it works out for you! Tag me, PM me, I’m yours to do as you please.

Having said that, this is based off that post (hence the credit), but I’m starting my own 30 day challenge to UNFUCK MY LIFE.

Ready?

Here we go.

  1. Get a journal. Open it. Write. Be it a line. Just your name. A sentence. A quote. Be it five pages and keep going. Doodle. Hate your hadwriting and then smile because it’s perfect for you.
  2. Make a study plan. A realistic study plan. Print it. Complete it.
  3. Don’t just sit around studying in your pajamas. I know it’s comfy, but get up, get dressed, shine that fucking awesomeness.
  4. Clean your room (Yes, even the pile of clothes hidden in the closet. And under the bed. And the ones forgotten in the bathroom.)
  5. Call old friends. Just say hi. Go from there.
  6. Go to bed early. Count sheep to fall asleep.
  7. Get up early too. Spring from bed and don’t look back.
  8. Go for a walk, with company if possible. Your Ipod counts too.
  9. Go to the library. Check out books you’ll like. Check out some you won’t either. Read them all.
  10. Watch the news. Talk about them. Discuss them. Accept different points of view.
  11. Cut your hair. Buy a new pair of shoes. Of pants. Eyeliner. Paint your nails. Look in the mirror and go “yeeeeeah, I’d hit that”. Even if you stay at home all day.
  12. Compliment your mom. Hug your dad. Thank your grandparents. Blow a kiss to your sister. Ruffle your brother’s hair. Squeeze your dog and rub his belly.
  13. Breathe. In. Out.
  14. Go out. Be happy. Show off your legs even if they’re short. Even if you have cellullite. Even if that means wearing a pair of tights because it’s cold out. Flip your hair and smile.
  15. Go out. Drive. Be scared. 
  16. Choose your outfit the day before. Even if you change your mind in the morning.
  17. Smile. Smile. 
  18. Meet up with your best friend. Be your sarcastic self, they love it.
  19. Update your playlist.
  20. Find a new TV show to watch. Make it a documentary.
  21. Say hello to people.
  22. Go downtown. Take pictures. Panoramic pictures, ugly pictures, blurred pictures, selfies. Don’t erase any. Not just yet.
  23. Go out to get coffee. Drink tea instead.
  24. Wear a skirt to college. Rock those hot boots too.
  25. Buy chewing gum. Offer it around, it’s okay if you’re totally ripped off.
  26. Surprise-visit someone.
  27. Have a meal with your mom.
  28. Go shopping. Don’t buy anything.
  29. Change your profile picture.
  30. Take a shower. Kiss the mirror and dance naked. If it jiggles, it’s because it’s there.
  31. Watch the sunrise. Watch the sunset. Feel small. (bonus)
1. Swing Set

so, a little while ago, andavs asked me to make her a Not Quite Normal OTP challenge and because, she’s awesome, she said she would actually do the challenge. And then I decided to do it as well because fair’s fair!

BUT, then we decided that we should do an Attempted Mind Meld Challenge. Basically, this means both of us are doing the challenge (don’t worry, I’m writing not drawing) and then posting our work on the same day and seeing how well they line up. We haven’t talked about them at all before posting so really, this is probably going to be a complete disaster. 

Regardless, here’s #1: On a Swing Set

Stiles never looks up at the sky anymore.

Derek watches for it, waiting, a part of him wondering when exactly he pinned down that small quirk that belonged to Stiles and Stiles alone. He can’t really remember when he first noticed it- maybe his subconscious had noted it right away, when he spent their first few interactions in cars with Stiles while the younger boy looked towards the heavens for help. Or maybe it was later than that, when he spent large portions of his time threatening Stiles into helping him and Stiles’ cocky eye rolls had come hand in hand with his computer skills. Probably it wasn’t until the long summer that Stiles spent at his loft, researching through Scott’s shifts at Deaton’s, staring at the ceiling as if that’s where he would find the answer.

Really, though, he doesn’t notice it until it’s gone. Until it’s after the Nogistune and after Allison and Stiles’ eyes stop flicking upwards.

Nowadays, Stiles moves like a person who is trying very hard to control every tick of his body, while pretending very hard that nothing’s changed. He meets people’s eyes when they speak to him and smiles when he’s supposed to and flails his hands when he is telling a story (though he’s half a beat behind the words instead of two beats ahead). It isn’t a particularly good imitation of his former self but it fools most people – the acquaintances, and teachers, and even Lydias of the world.

His dad isn’t fooled. Neither is Scott. Neither is Derek.

And by all accounts, Derek should be fooled. Because he and Stiles, they aren’t… they aren’t anything. Maybe they were once enemies, maybe they were once unwilling partners, maybe at one point they grew a mutual respect and understanding but…

But it had all faded into some weird gray area. Before… before everything, they had reached an area where it was okay for their eyes to cling to each other, as long as they were in the middle of an argument. An area where they were allowed to touch as long as it conveyed frustration rather than comfort. An area where they could save each other again and again as long as they never mentioned it.

And now… well, now all Derek can think about is the fact that Stiles never looks up anymore and how much that bothers him.

30 DAY SQUAT CHALLENGE!

Khloe Kardashian had posted this on her Twitter. I don’t follow her but after clicking through links found my way into her Twitpics. Someone was asking her about it.

This is a lot of squats to do but I’m sure after the 30 Days your Hips, Butt, Thighs and Calf muscles will have more Definition. If you have no butt you will start developing your muscles and notice one I’m sure. If you have a saggy butt this will help tighten it up. As well as thighs.

I’m sure repeat as necessary as possible with other methods :D.

Hey fitness people! As I was searching, I realized there aren’t many good fitness challenges out there. I decided to make my own! Here is my 30 day fitness challenge I created and tweaked from 4 different “challenges” I found. I’m on day 7 right now and already seeing results! It may seem hard at first but after you start seeing results you won’t want to stop! If you end up starting, good luck with it! If you need some motivation, maybe give yourself a goal at the end to work towards (besides a bangin body) , like a new pair of running shoes, maybe new weights, maybe you can try a new healthy recipe, have fun with it! Also, anybody who is successful please let me know :) I’d love to hear about your results.
