The Los Angeles Clippers blew a huge opportunity against the Houston Rockets. The Clippers secured a 3-1 series lead against the Rockets early in the series. From there, the Clippers completely forgot how to play basket ball and ended up losing the series to the Rockets 4 games to three. Once again, Chris Paul will not make it out of the second round. Lets look at the game that was a dagger to the Clippers season. In the win or go home game seven in Houston, the runner-up MVP James Harden was in his MVP form. Harden scored 31 points on 7 of 20 shooting with 8 assist and 7 rebounds. James Harden set the tone for the entire team. Hardens side kick also dominated the game as Dwight Howard scored 16 points on 6 of 8 shooting with 15 rebounds. Howard is advancing to the Conference finals since he did it with the Magic. Another spark for the Rockets offense was Arizas 3 point shoot out. He added 22 points for his team.
For the Clippers, Jordan scored 16 points on 7 of 10 shooting while pulling down 17 rebounds. Blake Griffin did what Griffin usually does as he scored 27 points on 13 of 23 shooting with 11 rebounds and 6 assist. The bench was what killed the Clips.
