As always the show tries to make it seem like Dean is on the wrong side, or is his actions and words are wrong or as he’s being too emotional, or unfair to the people around him (i.e: Sam, case, Mary) or as if he’s just selfish or stubborn not to support their ideas, their quest,their missions. They try (and sadly Successfully it does work on most fans) to make him out/to paint him as the bad guy, or someone who doesn’t understand or respect their perspective.
The thing is Dean does he understands better than anyone because he’s been doing his whole life, support his family and friends agendas/missions, and because he’s the one who’s always supporting their missions (never actually leading) he’s the ONLY ONE who goes into any of these missions CLEAR HEADED, he’s the ONE WHO NOTICES THE BAD SINGS, who is NOT so focused on the missions he loses the bigger picture or the possible consequences of these missions, he’s the ONLY one who spots that there’s something more to this than what it seems, he’s the only one who can actually sense when someone is playing him or any of his family members or friends, he’s the only who sees things for what they truly are and not what the others hope/believe to be.
And because of this he’s always on outside, he’s always the “bad guy”, he’s always “not supporting his friends and family’s missions agendas”, he’s always being too hard on his loved ones. The REALITY is he’s the ONLY one who’s LOOKING OUT FOR THEM, he’s the ONLY one who always TRIES HIS BEST TO AVOIDE further dangerous consequences for everyone’s actions/missions.
Examples: in S3 (and throughout S4) when he learned that ruby is a demon he has been warring sam NOT to trust her, warning him NOT use his powers, telling him over and over again that she’s manipulating him, twisting his fear (that his demonic powers would make him a bad person) into making it seem as if his demonic piers are good/can be used for good, telling Sam that god and angles told him (Dean) to stop Sam from using his powers more than once, and DEAN was 100% RIGHT because ruby was part of Lilith’s plan ALL ALONG.
In S11 yet again he was telling Sam over and over NOT to listen to the voices/visions he was seeing that they weren’t from god, telling him that there something NOT right about the whole thing, Sam yet again ignored him and because of Sam, Lucifer GOT OUT OF HIS CAGE AND NOW WE HAVE THE OMEN/ROSEMARY’S BABY ON THE WAY.
Now it’s happing all over again in S12 with the BMOL, Dean does NOT trust them for obvious reasons, and now both Mary & Sam are nothing more than their earn boy/girl who NEVER question anything and just follow orders blindly and Sam is acting as he’s on the right side by trying to convince dean to join this mission just as blindly as he & Mary are.
Dean was 100% RIGHT in telling Mary to ACT LIKE THEIR MOTHER, not to take care of them or cut the crust or whatever childish things, but to ACT LIKE THEIR MOTHER AND SUPPORTS THEM AND TRUST THEM more than a bunch of STRANGERS who for all she knows are the bad guy, that’s what he meant when he said she should ACT LIKE THEIR MOTHER, NOT actually be a mommy and take care of them or any of the other motherly things, because Dean has been TAKING CARE OF HIMSEF AND HIS BROTHER AND HIS FATHER SINCE HE WAS 4 YEARS OLD. So sure as hell had EVERY RIGHT TO BE MAD AT HIS MOTHER and it was 100% WRONG to make him apologize for what he said.
When he asked Sam to choose a side, he was actually asking him to pick HIS SIDE FOR ONCE IN HIS LIFE, because Sam just as Mary, John, an case have ALWYS CHOSEN THEIR OWN SIDES OR THE SIDE OF A COMPLETE STRANGER/DEMON, and it was ALWAYS THE WRONG side. So when Dean asked Sam to pick a side he was actually asking for ONCE to pick his side, to trust him on suspension about the BMOL, but the end of the day Sam STILL AS USUAL PICKED BUNCH OF STRANGERS OVER HIS OWN BROTHER.
We all know by the end of S12 the BMOL will turn out to be the bad guys in some way or the other, and we all know Sam & Mary yet again will be have the rug pulled from under them especially Sam.
So if anyone even dares to blame Dean Winchester when things blow up in their faces (like we all know it will) for anything what so ever, i will go crazy post on your asses reminding of all the MANY MANY OTHER TIMES DEAN WINCHESTER WAS 100% RIGHT AND WARNED THE IDIOTS NOT TO DO SOMETHING IDIOTIC. So all this oh let’s blame Dean for this and that NEEDS TO STOP BECAUSE DEAN FREAKING WINCHESTER IS ALWYS ALWYS ALWAYS NOT MATTER WHAT 100% RIGHT.

“It’s not like I was-” you started when you felt Lin’s finger against your lips as his eyes were squinted in focus. You sighed dramatically, moving to take over the shopping cart so your husband could explore whatever new idea had popped into his head without crashing into a display. His hand flashed to intercept yours though and pulled you towards him, positioning one of your hands in his and the other on his shoulder. “What are you doing?”
“Listen,” Lin murmured, his eyes moving upwards to indicate he meant for you to pay attention to whatever was playing from the speaker on the ceiling. You had yet to identify the song from the few opening words that had been sung. “It’s our song.”

Prompt: Batfam Ice Skating
You watch from your seat as the boys glide over the ice. They seem intent on outdoing each other, as the girls watch. You see Barbara giggle as Dick lifts into the air and lands a small jump. He’s hesitant. You can see it in his eyes. You suppose it’s vastly different from flying in the air, to trying to jump on ice.
Jason is simply trying to get as much speed as he possibly can. You can’t help but think he’s graceful, the way he glides over the ice, not one movement wasted.
Tim makes you laugh. He’s in the corner, phone in hand, watching some anime that deals with ice skating. He’d been obsessed with for several weeks now, and had even gotten Damian interested in it.
Speaking of the devil, you watched with a smile as Damian landed some difficult move, and called out “Well?”
Tim didn’t even look up from his phone, “You need more height.”
“I want to try a quad.”
“You’re too young to try a quad!”
You don’t even try and make sense of the conversation. Instead you pull the blanket around you a little tighter, and snuggle into its warmth. A minute later a steaming cup of hot chocolate appears in front of your face, and you take it with a smile. Bruce sits down next to you, and wraps an arm around your shoulders.
“Do you find them getting along a bit disconcerting?”
You lean into his embrace “They’re bonding, and getting along, what more can I ask for?”
“You might as well try asking for world peace, at this point. I thought that was just as impossible.”
You grin before kissing his cheek. “I’d rather ask for an end to morning sickness. I’m six months in and it hasn’t stopped.”
Bruce’s hand goes to rest on your rather noticeable bump “Have you given the name any more thought?”
You smile “Damian and Tim actually came up with one I really like.”

Woo, we’re back in the gym today! Thank you to everyone who wished me well over the weekend. Today’s probably the first day since Friday where I wasn’t in a prodrome, postdrome, or active stage of a migraine. Also, happy to report I didn’t lose any progress with my lifts this morning. Not bad, not bad at all!
Going to be on my feet a lot today beyond this as well. Not a lot of cleaning got done over the weekend. I told my boyfriend, “If you do one thing for me, please clean the toilet.” FOR MY PEACE OF MIND. And, well. He didn’t. 😂🔫

Playlist Picks: Google Music was freaking out on me this morning, so my picks are from whatever “90s love letter” radio station my gym was playing this morning. Spice Girls “Wannabe” and Shakira “Hips Don’t Lie.” I don’t have either on my playlist, but I have gotten them stuck in my head a million times before. LOL.
As a bona fide crazy cat lady it was only so long until I was compelled to make a cute kitty of some kind. I’ve previously made Luna and Artemis dolls in the Pokemon style, but wanted to do something with a bit more of an animal shape. I had a custom order last year for a cat character that gave me the perfect oppurtunity!
Meet Ser Pounce-a-Lot! The original custom order had tiny little armour as well, but this is just the plain ol’ cat version, since it’s a little less time consuming. I also remade Luna and Artemis using the same style, and am thinking about trying out a Jiji next!

Humming along to the radio, you smiled as the sunlight poured into the cozy kitchen. You’d been up since 5am making an assortment of sweet treats for the Avengers annual fundraiser that was coming up. Your hair was thrown up in a messy bun, and you wearing a flour and batter covered plaid apron, not exactly the image of sophistication.
“Do you know how hard I’m trying not to kiss you right now?” Your husbands deep voice rumbled from behind you, strong arms wrapping around your waist and feather light kisses being pressed against the column of your throat.
“Steve!” You giggled, tipping your head to the side to give him more access whilst simultaneously squirming in his grasp.
“You look so beautiful like this.” he murmured against your skin, smiling as you settled into his embrace.
“You’re an idiot. I married an idiot.” You smiled, tilting your head to press a soft kiss to his lips.
“Yeah, but you love me anyway.” He grinned, hands brushing up and down your sides, happy to just stay in this moment with his best girl forever.
Even though I usually rest on Monday, I decided I’d go ahead and do my ab workout. I actually really hate ab workouts, so I just wanted it done. I switched to reverse crunches from bicycle kicks. I dunno–I feel nothing when I do bicycle kicks so I don’t have time for them. Reverse crunches, though? Oh, my God!
Anyway, I’m scatterbrained. I only slept 4 hours with several interruptions as well so don’t expect too much out of this post. I’ve also been on a walk already. Just couldn’t sleep and I live in a safe enough area of town so I went outside. So, it’s just before 9 AM as I type this and I’m at 10,000 steps. Upstairs is noisy so I don’t know if a nap will be possible.
