3 in your program 1 in your heart

how to care until it hurts. (a nine step program)

1. find comfort in their words and home in their soul.

2. know your limitations and stride past them. reach out and discover what it is you so desperately crave.

3. allow them to reach into your stomach and hang cocoons of brilliantly colored butterflies from your ribs.

4. build your personal style around the scars that decorate your neck and drape across your shoulder blades. they’ll want to see them.

5. be reckless with your heart and careful with theirs. they will never know how much of yourself you have thrown into caring for them.

6. be more honest with them than you have ever been with yourself and try not to think too hard about why these words suddenly slip from your throat as if you ever wanted them to.

7. never tell them how much you care. never tell them the way your heart beats faster when they call you this or tell you that. never let them see how their every action seals your heart in a hard wax shell of love.

8. be in love.

9. never say love.

Your arm is endowed with power; your hand is strong, your right hand exalted. -Psalm 89:13
::
As the psalmist writes, our Lord’s arm is powerful. One of the beautiful things about this verse is that it’s written in present tense. This is important because so often times we think about God’s power in the context of what He will do in our lives in the future. Perhaps when you think about God’s power, you think about:
::
1. The day your prayers about your job situation will finally be answered
2. Finally meeting your future husband
3. Graduating from your program and being able to work a decent job
4. Watching your dreams of becoming a business owner or brand owner come true
5. God answering a big question or healing you when it comes to your heart or health
::
But today, as we think of the almighty power of God, let us remember that God’s powerful arm is protecting us today, and that alone is worth rejoicing about. If you keep reading the entire psalm from today’s verse, you’ll find verse 15 talks about walking in the light of God’s presence. God’s presence isn’t just somewhere in the future. His presence is right here in the moment you are reading this paragraph. Spend some time with this verse and think about how strong the Lord is in your life not just yesterday, and not just tomorrow, but today!
::
God is more than capable of performing miracles in your life and doing things that are beyond what you could ever imagine. However, know that the same God who is powerful enough to change your life a year from now, five years from now, or ten years from now is the same God who will change your life today. Your relationship with Jesus gives you direct access to Him in this way, and that’s worth being excited about in this very moment. So don’t wait until some time in the future to be excited about what God is doing in your life. God is working in your life right now, and it doesn’t take meeting your future husband or getting your dream job in order for you to experience just how powerful He is in your everyday life.

Unrealistic Expectations (Chapter One) Ft. Oh Sehun & Park Chanyeol

A/N: This is just something I’m writing for fun to get back into writing. Not sure where I’m heading with this but it’ll be just a chill write for me. :)

——————–

Female leads typically seem so helpless in drama shows. They get yanked in one direction and pulled into another. You wonder how their arms function properly after having their joints dislocated following every scene. They tend to have a wishy-washy personality–never knowing exactly who or what they want. Why do males in the drama always feel the need to save the day? What if she just wants to be left alone? Why can’t she be her own hero? Why does she always need a Prince Charming?

Why do you keep watching the drama if you have endless complaints?”

You stare at Chanyeol and then back towards the television, almost hypnotized. “I don’t know. I don’t really care for the show but I can’t stop myself from watching. Must be some kind of mind control.” Television dramas have this strange power over you. Clearly, you know that it’s not healthy to be sucked into a fake reality but you continue to watch and grow attached to the sub-par characters. It’s comparable to eating fast food. Health wise, it’s not good but you still eat it.

He nudges your shoulder. “Yah. Not mind control. You’re just a sucker for sappy endings.”

“Please don’t lump me into the masses of addicted romantic drama viewers, Park Chanyeol. I can turn off the television any time I want.”

“Then do it,” he dares, folding his arms like some parent waiting for his child to prove him wrong.

“I can,” you begin to say but another kiss scene pops up on the screen. All your words disappear, rendering you completely inaudible. He waves his hand in front of your face but even with the amount of criticisms you place on dramas, you loyally watch one episode after another. At the end of show, you feel guilt mixed with the question of why did you fall into the trap of another typical drama.

Generic representation of women in these television series is what pains you the most. Most have an unrealistic view of how women act and the way they are treated. If a person were to grab onto your arm and bluntly say they need to talk to you in some deserted river bend, you would tell them, ‘Heck no. Text me what you need to tell me. No need for the scenic background.’ Kisses are another issue. Male protagonists kiss their leading lady out of nowhere as if the girl has no say in the matter. If a man were to just force his lips upon yours, you don’t know what you would do. It’s never happened before but you’re sure that you wouldn’t just stand there with your eyes wide open like a deer in the headlights.

Men are also terribly represented as millionaires mixed with a platter of a bitter cold heart, dreary past–probably resulting in a first love:

A.) Breaking up with him due to:
      A.1.) Parents not approving
A.2.) Thinking that his life will be better without her
A.3.) Leaving abroad (to the United States) for a study program at:
               A.3.1.) Harvard University
               A.3.1.) Yale University
A.3.1.) or Los Angeles because the United States really only
consists of top Universities, New York and California.

B.) Cheating on him with:
      B.1.) Her first love
      B.2.) His arch-nemesis
      B.3.) His best friend

C.) Dying from:
      C.1.) Car crash
C.2.) Cancer or some other fatal disease that she didn’t tell him
about because she thought it would be better to not burden
               him with her problems.

[STARCAST] "Introduce our new choreography~” …GOT7, the point dance of ‘A’?

“The Rose of Sharon Blooms~”
 "The Rose of Sharon Blooms~”

"The tagger is Jr.”

Stop as it is~”

“No practice, but play hide and seek?”

“You!!! The end~”

Here is ‘JYP training center’ located in Cheongdam-dong, Seoul on 17th of June

GOT7 members are gathering here. Are you familiar with the place? This is the place where they competed against ‘Winner’ in Mnet survival program.
By the way, why do they play hide and seek?
Please do not misunderstand. They are now practicing their new choreography. Aren’t they just playing? If you watched their comeback showcase held in June 18, you would probably know the meaning. Hide and seek is one of their choreographies of 2nd mini album’s title song ‘A’.
Before the comeback, they keep practicing. ‘STARCAST’ visited their training center.

"A-yo, we will show you our dancing practice” (BamBam)

GOT7 is famous for their performance: they are so called as ‘Perfor-dol’ and you’ve already heard about their high-level of performance. There is no exception! They literally….fly. The main point is leader JB. He holds his body with one hand and raises his two legs. The performance needs both technique and fitness.

“Close up? No humiliation”

GOT7 was full of energy when the shooting took place. Their dancing was powerful and expression was active. They repeated same choreography to the same song, but did their best every time like they were on stage.

“Keep the line”

“Adorable facial expression”

“Group shot is also too~ cute^^”

“Flying Mark”

“Thinking Jr.”

“Thinking all together”

“You are selected!”

“GOT7 selected you!!”

They looked naïve when dancing, but after one song, their energy became zero. They collapsed on the floor of the training room. Actually, the key point when performing ‘A’ is fitness as the formation constantly changes; they have to run and roll restlessly.

“I’m exhausted”

“Dance was the most difficult” (Youngjae)

“I cannot open my eyes”(JB)

Choreography practice. The intensity of the practice seemed to enormous: look at BamBam. Do you see a hole in his pants? He poured all the energy and had a hole in the pants!!!

“Hole in my pants~ BamBam!”

Practicing is hard, but cannot stop here. Their comeback is just around the corner!! Members monitored their practicing thoroughly and found out mistakes of line, motion, and movement.

“Let’s match the angle of arms here…”

Serious looks of the youngest brothers” (Youngjae and Yugyeom)

They talked about their new choreography and matched thoroughly even the angle of face. If there was a problem, they tried to solve it through conversation. They were full of energy as the rooky group.

“Bro, can we dance like this?”(Yugyeom)

“Turn on the music”

“Having a private lesson”(Jr.)

From now on, open your eyes widely like JB and look at us. We’d like to show you several main choreographies of ‘A’. Let’s conquer GOT7’s new song. Let’s do cram!!!
‘A’ was composed and written by producer Park Jin Young. It is ‘Up tempo R&B song combining R&B harmony and hip-hop rhythm. The alphabet ‘A’ expresses the words that you use when trying to conceal your real thought.
More importantly, the concept of ‘A’ is so called ‘Boyfriend-dol’. The choreography expresses the heart and mind of a man toward a woman who he likes. STARCAST asked GOT7 to show 3 movements before appearing in the music programs. Let’s memorize them together!

Movement 1. You are selected.
It appears in the chorus “eeeeee~ei, eeeee~” part. Stretch your second finger and point at someone. Don’t forget to wave the whole arm!

“Mark and Youngjae select you”

“Do the wave~ the end!”

 Movement 2. Some-dancing.
The popular word ‘Some’ appears in the lyric. How did they express it? They attach the ends of index fingers of both hands. Keep attaching them.

“Something going on between you and me?”

“Follow me like this~”

Movement 3. Dance of shyness.
It expresses the feeling of shyness. Hold your fist and hide half of your face with it and then shake your hands up and down.

“Hide your face”

Now, it is the bonus. The youngest Youngjae took charge of the point movement. Members stood in line and Youngjae passed by and showed movement that had impact. Members stood behind him followed Youngjae’s movement like a shadow of his. It is so called ‘Shadow dancing’. Let’s see together.

The practice continued and their expression became more serious. The laser was shot from their eyes. It is said efforts never betray you. They wanted to show better performance by practicing more and more.

“Jackson Swagger”

“BamBam maturity”

“Youngjae super concentration”

“Mark absorbed in dancing”

“Jr.’s sexyness”

“Yugyeom, real man”

They could not be serious always. We could see their childish acts occasionally. 7 males gathered together, but it was full of joy

“V~ to camera”

“Sexy Jackson”

“Tease-ya, Jackson”

JB VS Youngjae, battle for cuteness"

GOT7’s new name of album is ‘GOT♡’. Their debut song ‘Girls Girls Girls’ showed nice young guys appearing at school and this time they became a cute boyfriend. Therefore, we prepared!!! The bonus cuts~ do not miss the chance to see cute boyfriends.
Keep it as background image~~

“Ooops~”(Mark)

“Candidate No.2” (Youngjae)

“Am I cute?” (Jr.)

“My cute S line” (BamBam)`

“Provocation of the youngest” (Yugyeom)

“No more leader^^” (JB)

“The final edition of boyfriend” (Jackson)
