William Chavez, automated field artillery tactical data systems specialists with Battery B, 3rd Battalion, 16th Field Artillery Regiment, 2nd Brigade Combat Team, 4th Infantry Division, escort sheep out of harm’s way during an air re-supply in Bala Marghab District, Aug. 23. Soldiers from Forward Operating Base Todd receive most of their supplies using air drops because of the tough terrain in the area.

Pues bien, si queréis saber algo más acerca de este ecosistema, sabed que hHace algunos años la revista de fotografía de naturaleza Visión Salvaje nos pidió a mi amigo Jorge Garzón y a un servidor un artículo de divulgación acerca de las marismas de Doñana. Aquí os lo dejo por si a alguien le interesa.

Iraqi soldiers and paratroopers from 1st Battalion, 325th Airborne Infantry Regiment of the 82nd Airborne Division’s 2nd Advise and Assist Brigade fire at paper targets, with a variety of weapons during the opening of the Anbar Operation Center’s new range in Ramadi, Iraq, Sept 10. With a long history of supporting U.S. military operations in Iraq, the 2/82 and it’s paratroopers are enabling the withdraw of U.S. military forces in Iraq.
