Transparent Nintendo 2DSes for Europe ⊟

Remember that prototype 3DS XL with transparent casing that Nintendo teased us with in an Iwata Asks session? That never actually released as an actual product, but the platform holder has made something similar with the 2DS for Europe, creating clear Red and Blue versions of the budget handheld.

Nintendo used to make a lot of these transparent systems for the Game Boy, GB Pocket, and GBA, but it’s been a while since the company has returned to this style (the New 3DS also has clear colored cover plate options). These 2DSes will release as standalone units in Europe on November 7, and as bundles with pre-installed copies of Pokemon Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire on November 28. Thanks to NintenDaan for the pics!

"Crystal" Blue and Red 2DSes coming to U.S. ⊟

We already knew the Blue system was coming to North America thanks to Target, but it looks like both of the models that were previously announced for Europe are coming here on November 21, the same day Pokémon Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire release (also the launch date for Super Smash Bros. Wii U). They will sell for $99.99 each, and will not have a Pokémon bundle like Europe.

I’m a bit late with this post but here are two of the christmas presents I gave my sister! I wasn’t able to complete the third present in time but I’ll be giving it to her when I visit the Netherlands in january so no pictures of it untill then!
The 2DS cover was a bit tricky to make because I couldn’t find any pattern for one online but I managed to make a pattern myself.
The Princess Bubblegum and Marceline felt dolls are also made by me! They have wire in their arms and legs. The boots are made of paperclay and then painted with acrylics.

transferring save files between games

okay so my friend emblemcrossing recently told me about a really cool app you can get on your Nintendo 3DS/2DS to transfer save data on a physical copy of a game to a digital copy of a game.

simply search in the nintendo eshop for Save Data Transfer Tool. it was made by nintendo so it’s totally safe and it downloads in a few seconds.

as soon as you load it up it has very simple step by step instructions and all you have to do is put in you hard copy of the game and it will transfer that save file to a digital copy you have downloaded.

this will delete your save file on your hard copy and replace the one on your digital copy if you have one.

I’m not sure how many people will need this or find it useful, but I figured it might help someone.

this will transfer the save data from a bricked hard copy to a digital copy as long as the cartridge is still readable.
