I only have one bill I have to pay a month and its giving me a headache.
So remember I said I was going to Washington DC with my cousins 8th grade as a chaperon but it would cost $2,328 and its due in January? Well I get one of those checks from my credit card company offering 0% interest until August of 2012. After doing the math I figured it will be less stress on me to write myself a check for the amount and pay off my trip. That way I would have to pay my credit card company, pay off my trip and have a more manageable cost of repayment ( roughly $300 a month for the school’s January deadline compared to roughly $150 a month for the credit card companies August deadline). I paid last month thinking ” I paid off all the things I bought last month (which was around $500) and I was able to pay the $150 for my DC loan. I get my bill and not only did I get charged interest for a partial balance that I thought I paid off but it also said I only paid $10 off my DC loan, when I thought I paid $150. I have been sitting here for the past hour to see if I did the math wrong, and from the looks of it I didnt. Ugh I dont want to call the credit card company to have them explain it to me. I think I will just pay $1,000 for this month. That has to cover my debt for this month, my partial debt from last month and a little bit of my DC loan. Ill just start with a new attack plan next month when this have all cleared. -_-
