A Sugar Baby's Skincare/Makeup Routine

Follow me on Instagram! I basically have no followers 😂 @xcxsxbx

Disclaimer: I am not being sponsored by any of these companies.. as if they’d sponsor a sugar baby blog on tumblr 😂

I have fair skin, but almost all of these products come in a range of skin tones from light to dark. I also have black hair, so I use black eyeliner. If you are blonde you may want to consider using brown eyeliner for a more subtle look during the daytime, but you do you! Lastly, I am lucky to have very clear skin, so if you have acne-prone skin your skincare and makeup routine obviously should include different products to take care of the acne.

As always, questions/comments/suggestions welcome - just write in!

In the shower or if I’m not feeling too lazy in the morning or at night I’ll wash my face with Clarins Gentle Foaming Cleanser ($25 from Sephora). If I am too lazy to wash my face, I’ll use Bioderma Crealine H2O ($32 from Amazon) on cotton pads. It’s a French girl beauty staple, super gentle and really effective at taking off your makeup.

I also exfoliate with St. Ives Apricot Scrub ($3.69 from Target) twice a week.

I moisturize with Shiseido Bio-Performance Advanced Super Revitalizing Cream ($75 from Sephora). It’s super rich and especially good in dry climates.

I really should be more careful about the sun and start wearing sunscreen on my face and neck daily, but I always am too lazy/forget. When I’m good I use Tatcha Silken Pore Perfecting Sunscreen Broad Spectrum SPF 35 ($68 from Sephora). In the Summer months I’ll go for something higher like an SPF 50.

Then I use Tom Ford Bronzing Primer - Resort to Pleasure ($74 from Net-a-Porter). It really gives your face a nice natural glow. I layer Burberry Beauty Fresh Glow Foundation ($52 from Net-a-Porter) on top of that, it’s sheer and luminous rather than matte.

Afterwards I go over any dark circles or redness on the sides on my nose with concealer. If my circles are bad I’ll use Amazing Cosmetics Amazing Concealer ($42 from Sephora) which has really great heavy coverage, but be careful not to put too much on or you’ll start to look cakey. If they aren’t so bad I’ll let my skin breathe and use Perricone MD No Concealer Concealer SPF30 ($32 from Net-a-Porter) which is lighter.

To keep my face from shining or streaking I set everything with Laura Mercier Translucent Setting Powder ($38 from Sephora) using a kabuki/powder brush.

Then I’ll highlight and contour my cheekbones and nose with Kat Von D Shade + Light Contour Palette ($46) using an angled brush.

I then line my upper waterline with Urban Decay 24/7 Glide-On Eye Pencil in Zero ($20 from Sephora) and the outer edges of my bottom waterline as well. Then I’ll do a slight wing/cat eye on the lid with Stila Stay All Day Waterproof Liquid Eyeliner ($22 from Sephora), which is really really great and stays on, well, all day (and all night)!

I think the winged eyeliner complements my eyelash extensions (which I have in the C-shape instead of the round shape) making my eyes look more catlike and seductive. If I do wear mascara I’ll use Giorgio Armani Eyes to Kill Mascara ($32 from Sephora), but often I don’t unless I’m going out because the eyelash extensions look fine and stay on longer without it.

On my eyebrows I use Anastasia Beverly Hills Brow Definer in Granite ($32 from Sephora).

Lastly, on my lips I use Perricone MD No Lipstick Lipstick ($30 from Net-a-Porter). It’s a colored balm really that gives your lips a very natural color. If I’m trying to glam up I’ll use Kylie Lip Kit in Candy K ($29 from Kylie Cosmetics). Yes I’m a fan!

So, that’s my daily skincare and makeup routine! I know it seems like a lot but it’s really actually pretty simple when you break it down step by step, and it only takes me 10 minutes tops.
