How To Stay Relaxed During Finals Week.
Remember to take breaks. Go on that Taco Bell run that you
have been thinking about for the past three hours. Get up and moving, even if
it is just to your car so you can get your 12 taco box.
Plan out your study times. This will help you visually see everything you need to get done.
Take naps. Yes I said it, take a nap. Not a five hour nap when you wake up and don’t know what day of the week it is, but a short 10-20 minute power nap. This will boost your energy and help you get through the long hours of studying.
Call your mom or dad. They are obligated to listen to you
complain about your life. Take advantage of this and vent away. You will
honestly feel better at the end of the conversation and feel less stressed.
Reward yourself with a treat. Tell yourself that for every 30 minutes you study you can take a ten minute break or after you finish writing out flashcards you can watch a movie. (we all know you already have the ABC Family’s 25 Days of Christmas schedule taped to your wall so plan around that.)
Remember to stay positive. Finals will be over before you know it and everything that are on your finals are things that you have learned throughout the semester. Take deep breathes and think positive!
