BTS ANNOUNCES U.S TOUR: EPISODE II: THE RED BULLET IN AMERCIA

American A.R.M.Ys, be prepared because the lovable boys of BTS (Bangtan Boys) will be bringing their latest concert series your way this summer!

Managed under Korean agency Big Hit Entertainment, it has been announced on March 16th PST that Korean group BTS will be stopping at four major cities with Episode II: The Red Bullet in the United States under American production company SubKulture Entertainment. While this is not their first trip to America, having participated in KCON andMAMA last year, it certainly is the first time they will be bringing a concert tour through the country.

BTS will be visiting New York City (New York), Dallas (Texas), Chicago (Illinois), and Los Angeles (California) this July.

Consisting of seven members — leader Rap Monster, Jin, Suga, JHope, Jimin, V, andJungkook — BTS made their debut in June 2013 with “No More Dream,” and has since then released additional albums that has gained attention from fans all over the world. They have proven to be quite the fierce group and already has several major awards under their belt, including those at the MelOn Music Awards (2013),Golden Disk Awards (2014, 2015), Seoul Music Awards (2014, 2015), as well as the Gaon Chart K-Pop Awards (2014, 2015).

The seven-member group reached an all-new high when they starred in their own reality show via Mnet called BTS American Hustle Life, where they met and worked with hip-hop legends Coolio and Warren G during their stay in Los Angeles.

Most recently, Warren G and Rap Monster worked together for the track “P.D.D (Please Don’t Die)” with the former taking charge in its production. Rap Monster is also set to release his first public mixtape, unveiling the music video to “Awakening” ahead of time, and had worked with hip-hop project group MFBTY (Yoon Mi Rae, Tiger JK, Bizzy) on a track in their upcoming album, Wondaland.

question: why are inspirits so obsessed with the chaser?

**Billboard names The Chaser as Best Kpop Song of 2012**

They won seven music show awards for The Chaser, including a Triple Crown on Mnet M!Countdown.

They got the Disk Bonsang Award and the Best Group Performance at the Golden Disk Awards 2013, for the album Infinitize and The Chaser. They won the 2012 Top 10 award at that year’s MelOn Music Awards Show, for The Chaser. Then there’s Best Dance Music Video on SBS MTV Best of the Best.

INFINITE may have finally gained recognition with the release of Be Mine in 2011, but it was The Chaser in 2012 that really pushed them to the heights of success they have today. It’s a song that everyone knows. Everyone recognises that intro as soon as they hear it - which is probably why so many Inspirits are angry and disappointed that it appears to have been plagiarised

The Chaser is important to Inspirits. It’s a typical INFINITE song - you know it’s them right away, it has their signature sound and style. It’s catchy af, it’s amazing, and I get hyped every time I listen to it.

I’ll just end this answer with the mv so you can listen to it and understand:

[ARTICLE] 140313 Singapore’s Life! “Call her Korea’s Adele”

Who: Solo singer Lee Hi, 17

Reality show win: Runner-up of K-Pop Star Season 1

Career highlights: Possessing powerhouse vocals that have earned her the nickname of “Korea’s Adele”, after the soulful British singer, she has performed chart-topping hits such as 1,2,3,4 and Rose and was named the New Rising Star Award at the 27th Golden Disk Awards (2013), dubbed the Grammy Awards of Korea.

Rise to fame: By her own admission, the petite 1.56m-tall singer says she cannot beat the leggy girl groups such as Girls’ Generation in the looks department.

In an interview with Reuters last year, she said: “Other singers are very pretty and tall. I am short, no matter how high my heels are. I cannot beat them in looks, so I figured I need to focus on singing well. That’s what I’m good at and like most.”

After coming in second in the first season of K-Pop Star (2011), she was offered a contract and signed with YG Entertainment, home to big names such as boyband BigBang and girl group 2NE1. She released her first studio album, First Love, last year.

According to K-pop entertainment site allkpop, she is ranked No. 33 in the Gaon Chart physical album sales for the first half of last year, selling 17,746 copies.

anonymous asked:

why do you like snsd better than for example exo or any other idols?

Because of the fact that they really proved every single doubters out there. Back when they just debuted girl groups weren’t considered important. It was always about the boy groups and many people said Girls’ Generation wasn’t even gonna make it far. They weren’t good enough to take things further. But being the hardworking and passionate girls they are, they worked harder than ever and make it to the top. That’s what I call dedication and true passion. They’re not just singers but they’re Artists
As their popularity grew many people kept saying they were going to flop anytime soon, but nope, 6 years later. They are Asia’s number one girl group. ‘Mr.Mr.’ was named among TIME’s top 25 songs of 2014. ‘I Got A Boy’ ranks #5 on TIME’s top 10 songs of 2013. They have become a prominent figure in South Korean culture and music noting you girls as being representative figure of South Korean culture. Not only have you become 1st or 2nd placing as Korea’s Top Celebrity once, but 5 times And let’s no forget, they’re best friends with Youtube and Billboard. And the fact that they won 9 CONSECUTIVE WEEKS on ONE music Show. And also, the first ever group to win 1st place on their very first comeback of the year (2014, very first music show, very first performance.

ALSO. They are #20 on the list of Best Selling Girl Group - Physical Sales. #1 on Best Selling Girl Group - Digital Sales. The highest on Best Selling Girl Group Singles- Worldwide with 6.5 Million with ‘Gee’. And this is of all time.
