Dedan is the first boss in OFF by Mortis Ghost, and the one I personally find most visually interesting. A Large Boy with eyes in his mouth and time-themed abilities, despite OFF not having much in the way of mechanics for time shenanigans. He’s loud and abrasive and used to being in power, so Dedan is a good fit for a boss monster at the end of an intrigue mission. Maybe in your setting, he runs a less-than-ethical company, but has protection from the ruler of the land he operates in. Or perhaps he’s a tyrannical lord, serving under an uncaring monarch. However you fit him to your campaign, he’s a decent mid-level boss.
Dedan Large aberration, lawful evil.
AC: 16 (natural and leather armor) HP: 250 (10d20+60) Speed: 40 ft.

Multiattack: Dedan makes 2 Minute Hand attacks. Minute Hand: +9 to hit, 10 ft., one target, 2d6+5 bludgeoning damage. Sweep Hand (Recharge 4-6): Each creature within 5 ft. of Dedan makes a DC 17 Dex save as he spins in place and tries to sweep them. On a failure, they take 1d6+5 bludgeoning damage and are pushed back 10 ft. On a success, they take no damage and are pushed back 5 ft. Hour Hand (Recharge 5-6): +9 to hit, 10 ft., one target, 2d8+5 bludgeoning damage. The target makes a DC 17 Con save. On a failure, Dedan casts sleep as a 3rd-level spell on them. On a success, Dedan casts sleep as a 1st-level spell. The spell only affects the target. Laugh (3/day): Dedan summons a spectre to fight alongside him. The spectre appears within 15 ft. of him.
This is the first time they’re sending me in alone. I would say i’m scared but, frankly I asked for it. Litterally. This shouldn’t be too difficult of a mission. Just take out the target, and return back home. They say it’s a creature that’s extreemly volitiale, made out of pure radiation and is a huge threat to our very way of life. I don’t know much about these Mutants other than what i’ve heard in passing but they say this one is a Class 5 Threat. Which must mean it’s high priority. They nicknamed this one Horror, after what it could possibly do if it ended up here at home base. I think it’s pretty obvious how much damage a being made of pure radiation could bring, especially with how high risk things are now with the rift we opened up. A lot of people said that creating that machine was worth it, that travelling to other dimensions could mean so much in the way of science. In my opinion they were just asking for this to happen. Who am I to complain though, what’s done is done. I just need to remember to delete the last few sentences of this log. If I come back to home base after this mission is done and the first log they see has me shitting on one of our main areas of expertise, that’s just a one way ticket to getting demoted. Like hell I want to be in the Grunt Squadron again.
Role: Major character Type: Human Family: Saeko Mizuno (mother), unnamed father Aliases: Sailor Mercury, Dark Mercury, Akumi Alignment/Organization: Sailor Senshi, Moon Kingdom, Dark Kingdom (temporary) First appearance: Act Zero Last appearance: Special Act Status: Alive Actor: Chisaki Hama
Ami Mizuno’s name is a homonym meaning “Asian water beauty.”
Unlike her manga and anime counterparts, this Ami did not have blue hair while in her civilian form.
Naoko Takeuchi paired Ami/Sailor Mercury with Zoisite in a manga drawing. The live-action series, however, hinted at a romance between Ami and Nephrite.
Ami was one of two Sailor Senshi whose given name was written with kanji. The other was Minako.
According to her driver’s license seen in the Special Act, Ami was required to wear glasses. Yet in Act 5, it was said that Mizuno’s lenses were just plain glass. It should be noted that there was a four year gap between the Final Act and the Special Act. Ami could have developed the need for prescription lenses during that time.
MUFON Case 41918, 45899: 5:20 a.m., July 14, 2012; Highway 36 near the town of Milano, Texas, and a repeat event six months later near the same location
At about 5:20 a.m. on July 14, 2012, two men were traveling northwest on Highway 36 and had just passed through the small town of Milano, Texas. The two witnesses saw a pentagon-shaped, black object hovering over the highway ahead of them. At each apex of the pentagon were lights and a more intense light in the middle of the object. The lights at the corners were white and pulsated about once per second. As the witnesses drove under the object they could hear no sound coming from the craft above them. The witnesses saw what they thought were panel lines or vents on the underside of the craft. They estimated that the object was 30 feet above them when they passed under it and the object was about 20-30 feet across. The driver did not want to stop and the two men continued onto their destination.
The primary witness has a BS in chemistry and is working on a master’s of science degree. The other witness, who was driving, has some college training.
It is interesting that a very similar case occurred on this same stretch of highway but six miles farther northwest and six months later, on December 20, 2012. A 35-year-old female and her 16- year-old son were traveling in the same direction on the same road. The witness stated that she and her son first saw the object approach their vehicle from the east. She described the object as about 100 feet across with five sides and flashing lights on each corner. The color of the craft was a dull gray. The craft moved back to the east out of sight. She stated that it came back and hovered directly above their SUV. The witness stated that both she and her son felt threatened by the object. Her anxiety is best described in her own words, “We continued to watch it when suddenly it was RIGHT UP ABOVE our SUV! There are few words that will effectively relay to anyone that wasn’t there just how large and utterly surreal looking this thing was. I was in shock and as a mother I became fearful this thing could be a potential threat considering how close it was. So I stepped on the gas to get away from it.” At this point the son began to video the object with his cell phone camera. It was too far away at that point to see any detail but it was clear from the voices that the mother was fearful.
Stan is Stan, he was just never human in the first place (hence the name of the au HA). Stan is a Fae, a changeling slipped into the crib. Unfortunately, Stan has no knowledge of this (sometimes experiencing strange things, but thinking them as normal); only discovering what he truly is after Ford is lost to the portal.
The ‘Taking the Deal’ took place about a few months after Stan loses Ford. Stan makes the deal with an ancient Fae that has claimed the Gravity falls forest as it territory called ‘The Many Sights aka MS or Milly’. After Stan ventured into the deepest part of the forest dubbed ‘The Deep’ trying to escape some old enemies of his that have tracked him down (they do not come out of the forest alive >:3c) and he gets gravely injured.
He discovers he was never human to begin with and has a breakdown, he encounters MS. MS and some forest residents have ill intentions towards Ford for some things he did.
Stan makes a deal with MS to repay for Fords harms to the forest, becoming like a step in keeper/guardian to the forest while MS takes a nap.
Stan stability of keeping his human form is emotional and mentally based. As long as he thinks himself as human it’s pretty simple, believing he was human the first 30 years of his life it came easy. He can control the shifting but as easily when loses focus he loses control. like when he finds out the truth, his forms starts slipping for the first time, glowing green eyes, he starts glowing from the inside ( at the start Stan only has 2 eyes aka 2 sights, and gains 4 more when becoming keeper of the forest, ill get more on that another time)
This also happens when Ford returns and the possibility being kicked out of the shack at the end of summer, Stan starts having a slight identity crisis, pretended to be his brother for so long, trying to remember and get used to who he was before, Stanley is in the sense dead to the world’s eyes, so his form starts slipping, eyes glowing green, 4 more appearing (I actually want to draw this scenario out, hiding them at first with sunglasses etc.) though Stan has not yet fully turned into his full Fae form, fearing to be unable to return to his human form once he does.
Like I said, Stan is Stan and he loves his brother
Before finding out he’s a fae, Stan ate human food fine, though he started realising he has more energy when he is near natural habitats (forests, rivers, fields etc). After becoming aware, he doesn’t need to eat human food to survive, but he still does because of taste. Stan is able to just survive feeding on the forest energy.
However since he is the guardian of it, the forest states affects Stan’s health, if it’s in a good state, he’s good. However since he is connected to it, that now if he spends too long away from the forest (a couple of months) he starts to weaken and he has to return to it. However the type of Fae Stan is known for eating other supernatural creatures (and other Faes to become more powerful and gain the devoured Fae sights) and sometimes humans, though Stan hasn’t resorted to that…yet
Well young and just founded the blind society Fiddleford did get suspicious, but at first only because of Stan taking his brothers place. But he once accidentally walked upon with Stan and all his 6 eyes exposed. Fiddleford was terrified by the sight and shortly wiped his memories of that event while he was still the leader of the Blind Society. Though still years later and now with his memories slowly returning, he may fear for the beast with one eye, though there’s another one with 6 sights close by.
Fords starts to suspect something is off about his brother. At first, he brushes off for not seeing each other for decades, but after awhile starts noticing things. Like the radioactive waste barely had any effect on Stan, disappearing in the middle of the night, suddenly wearing sunglasses inside, claiming it’s a hangover even though he doesn’t smell of alcohol or one time the group encountered a gremgoblin, but left when Stan confronted it. Ford starts to investigate and coming to the conclusion that Stan is not what he seems, maybe possession or some kind shapeshifter.
Ford starts an entry with invisible ink about Stan in the journal. However, felt bad about even writing in the journal about Stanley. He rips out the page though still kept it (which actually neatly ties in with this comic where the twins find the page).
But eventually Ford finds out (one night he follows him). Stan tries to explain everything to Ford as much he can, and about the deal he made so Ford wouldn’t be in danger from some creatures. Ford doesn’t take it too well and it’s like you said yourself in the last ask, it does strain their relationship even more than before.
5. Books or authors that influenced your style the most.
Honestly I struggled with this question for a while before deciding that I don’t really think my style mimics a book or an author? Like yeah, on some level I’m influenced by everything, but I find myself more influenced by the plays that I’m reading at whatever time, specifically in terms of structure. Lots of Canadian Drama helps a lot!!
9. Least favorite trope to write.
Not a fan of writing meet-cute, especially in fics, because we all know where every fic is going, and it can start to feel like wasted words!
14. What’s the most research you ever put into a book?
My first novel had a bibliography (I wrote it for a senior project so I needed sources and proof of research) with over a hundred entries. Lots of specifics that I knew I had to get right, for personal and social reasons (lots of discussion of depression and suicide)
20. Post a snippet of a WIP you’re working on.
“I wish you didn’t have to put a shirt back on,” you whined, tracing a finger across his pec. He blushed through a laugh, before reaching back behind him to grab a green Oaklandish shirt from his shelf.
“I could always not…” he trailed off, shaking the fabric above your head. You rolled your eyes at his playful demeanour and released him.
5: If you had a warning label, what would yours say? Warning: is probably daydreaming about destiel, will overthink anything you say and is afraid of what you think of them.
14: If you had to change your name, what would you change it to? Officially I change my name everytime I say my name is ‘Rose’, but it’s just a translation. If I had to change it to something else, it’d be Rosemary or Grace.
20: Blog rate me? 100/10 YOUR BLOG IS ONE OF MY FAVS
25: Do you believe in horoscopes and zodiacs? Horoscopes, never. Zodiacs are fun and I feel like they’re a little more ‘reliable’. I’m very interested in them and do like reading zodiacs.
