For my bachelorette party, I decided to do things a little differently. Six of my friends who had not previously met one another showed up to do a shore-to-shore with me.
We got up before dawn and drove to the east coast of Michigan, out by Lake Eerie, to a tiny spit of public access beach between two private access stretches, in order to watch the sun rise over the water. In an unseen twist, our day and journey were blessed by Shore Cat, who appeared as dawn began, hung out with us to watch the sun rise, and disappeared just before we left.
Then we packed up, and drove across the state to Lake Michigan, so as to watch the sun set over the water, too. We ate dinner, sang songs, and drew pictures in the sand to sacrifice to the waves.
This event has been on my bucket list for years, and I could not have asked for a better group of amazing folks to share the experience with. We had a total blast, and formed bonds that will hopefully stay with us for many years to come.
Aladdin on Broadway is amazing!! James Monroe Iglehart stole the show as Genie 😍💚 The stage was a character all by itself, and I’m still not sure how they did some of the tricks. Must be that Disney magic ✨ @casleyislove @spindlepricker me @craniumhurricane and Rosie
