Jewel Dice

These are a few of my Jewel Dice. Some of them are very old and some of them are newish. The red and blue set I got when I was still a child and not allowed to have anything “demonic”. The others I got over the last two years. The orange, green, and purples ones have a particular flaw though in that the d8’s aren’t proper dice with opposite sides of the dice adding up to 9. This seems to be a common problem with d8’s these days.

Anyway, I hope you like these pics. For this set I used a single light source (that I moved a bit), a very thin aperture, and a 2 second exposure.

Breiðamerkurjökull Blue, by Guy_Havell

Breiðamerkurjökull Ice Cave. Exquisite light and colour illuminates an ice cave underneath the Vatnajökull Glacier in Southern Iceland. I rarely include people into my landscape shots but on this occasion it was helpful indicating a true sense of scale into the image. Welcome to the extraordinary beauty of winter in the amazing Iceland. Photographed with an ALPA 12 STC technical camera | Phase One IQ260 digital back | Rodenstock HR Alpagon 5.6/23 MM LB. 27-2-2015. 1 Second single exposure.

So one day I came home and everything was soaked to shit and it was so humid you could see the water droplets in the air so I put my camera on 2 second exposure and infinity focus and set it on a traffic pillar and the result is fucking nice ok
