1930's bride

October viewing continued tonight with Bride of Frankenstein (1935).  There are so many great things about this film that many consider it the absolute pinnacle of the Universal horror film library.  It is without a doubt a great film, and I always enjoy watching it.

Ernest Thesiger is perfect, as is Colin Clive and of course Karloff.  The sets and direction are top notch, and James Whale is the driving force behind the film.  One critic says that watching this film is about the same as having dinner with James Whale.  I would agree.
