At this moment there are 6,470,818,671 people in the world. Some are running scared. Some are coming home. Some tell lies to make it through the day. Others are just not facing the truth. [15/17] Gilmore Girls (2000-2007)

It’ll be fun, it’ll be a thrill. Something stupid, something bad for you. Just something different. Isn’t this the point of being young? It’s your choice, Ace. People can live a hundred years without really living for a minute. You climb up here with me, it’s one less minute you haven’t lived.

[10/17] How I Met Your Mother (2005-present)

Kids, you may think your only choices are to swallow your anger or throw it in someone’s face. There’s a third option: You can just let it go, and only when you do that is it really gone and you can move forward. And that, kids, was the perfect ending to a perfect love story. It just wasn’t mine. Mine was still out there, waiting for me.

[11/17] The O.C. (2003-2007)

Excuse me, forgive me, but I’m a very proud father, and I want to say a few words. I think I can speak for Kirsten and the other parents here tonight, when I tell you, kids, how thrilled we are to share this wonderful touchstone with you. I know the last few years have been a little rough for us. There’s been tragedy, and comedy, and first loves, and broken hearts. Family members were lost, and found. It hasn’t all been perfect, but we’re all family here. So cheers.
