I have attempted photographing the 5 visible planets almost every morning for the past 2 weeks with no luck. The winter clouds have just not accommodated my plans. Today I got close, but a heavy cloud band covered up Saturn, Mars and Jupiter overhead.
It was still a beautiful morning in Niagara with unseasonably warm temperatures for February. A herd of deer that ran right in front of me made this morning extra memorable.
#FBF to my early days. I took this shot in late March 2011, back when I worked in the #Chicago loop and commuted via train from Naperville. My schedule varied - some days started before the sun was up, others ended after the sun went down. Regardless of the time, the weather, or the temperature, I made time before or after my shift to wander around with my camera and tripod; not always successful in capturing anything I ended up liking enough to keep. This shot was taken mid-afternoon just before hopping on an express train home. Canon 7D f/11 ¼ ISO 250 Canon 17-40mm
