To highlight the site of their fabulous ice cream parlour, situated on this local dairy farm, Snugburys construct a giant sculpture every year made out of full size hay bales. The one above commemorates the 150th anniversary of ‘Big Ben’ and must stand over 20m tall!

We spent a few days on the houseboat acclimatising to the heat - during the day there were the game drives - but in the late afternoon & evening were were taken up & down the waterways of the ‘Panhandle’ - a great broad wetland area of the Okavango
