pillarsofsaltpillarsofsand  asked:

happy new year! what are your top 5 larry moments....

I never get asks like this anymore, so thank you for sending it. I didn’t know if you meant “top 5 larry fandom moments” or “top 5 Larry moments that make you go this is real,” so I decided it was the latter. I didn’t get to do a “Top 10 of 2016″ list this year (lol) so let’s count this as my annual top 10 list.

I decided to pick one moment from each year 2011-2015. Maybe not the most scientific way to go about it, but I wanted to span the first part of the band’s career and their relationship.

This is going to be long.

Ok so yeah I decided to make my main blog my art blog and decided to start from the beginning to document the growth of my shitty art. This was the first picture I really drew, it’s really bad and it’s not finished but it took me a while to actually start finishing things. I am going to post a lot of my older stuff as a way of keeping track of my drawings and will try and draw something new every week. (Please forgive this one it was done at the start of my freshman year of high school and I had never really drawn before)

An Experimental Choreographer Who Isn’t Afraid of Failure

“I’m not afraid of failure. It’s O.K.—even at MoMA.”

Choreographer Jérôme Bel spoke to The New York Times about his upcoming projects, one of which—Artist’s Choice: Jérôme Bel/MoMA Dance Company, featuring MoMA staff members as performers—will be on view October 27–31.

This is my new hair guys!

To those who knew about the hair promise with myself, it’s no longer on. Since a. I haven’t even applied to BeiDa and b. well, you know, I’ve already cut my hair.

The question, why, begs to be asked. Essentially, my hair was ridiculously thick and heavy, it wasn’t so long (boob-length) but the amount of strands I’d have per mm^2, not to mention the sheer thickness of my hair really weighed my neck down. Gravity just would not let my neck rest and I’d get horrible headaches and achy scalps if my hair was up.

So for health reasons, I have cut my hair early. This does not mean my resolve is weak or that I won’t work hard to get into BeiDa anymore, it just means I trust myself enough that I will still continue to work hard to be accepted.

Kudos to my wonderfully adorable boyfriend who took this lovely photo of my new ‘do.

Oh, and just letting everyone know, I freaking LOVE my hair. I LOVE it!
