do you ever halfway through a fight realize that you are wrong but also too stubborn to admit it so you then start cleverly leaning your arguments towards the right answer until you’ve completely turned the situation around and now you’re 100% right and the other person is angry and confused

I think that the main thing I’ve learnt over the years is to try to develop kind of an intelligence and a level of wit that outwits people so that if I am in the face of sexism, they are the ones exposed as being ignorant and quite frankly, quite stupid. So although I don’t use my fists I certainly would encourage other young girls to develop their intelligence so that they have an ability to stand up for themselves in not an aggressive way but in a way that gives them their dignity and their integrity and the respect that they deserve.
