1000 things i love

no more apology texts. no more reckless highway speeding. no more scribbled poetry in the back of spanish class. there is nothing left to lose. there is nothing left for you.

you haven’t seen me since i dyed my hair and it’s nice to have something you didn’t get to ruin. i’m dressing different too and lipsticking my way out of the girl you tore apart. i can finally breathe easy. i can finally be grateful that i never really meant it when i kissed you.

look, it’s me without you. look, i’m doing just fine. look, goddamn it, i’m lighter than i’ve been in months. there are seven billion people on the planet. i don’t think you matter so much anymore.

Please imagine long after the war, Shepard and Garrus pick up dancing as a hobby. Since their little tango on the citadel, they’ve longed to experience it again - the way their bodies moved together, how it expressed emotions better than words could, how it felt like it was just them.

For someone who could never really dance by herself, Shepard’s a quick learner when it comes to dancing with the one she loves and trusts above any other.

They enjoy it so much they decide to enter a dancing competition. Something different, but rewarding. And at every show, no matter what style the dance is or even if they stuff up, they captivate the audience. There’s just something about the two of them dancing together, something so intimate, so real, so… right.

They don’t care if they win. They try, sure, but at the end of the day, they just enjoy the experience as a couple. They couldn’t ask for more.

Okay so many of you know about Ramadan, the month in the islamic calander where every muslim who’s not travelling, pregnant, breastfeeding, diabetic or on their period or is ill or elderly has to fast from dawn until sunset and refrain from smoking, sex, swearing, etc. Instead of sending everyone I follow what I would like them to tag as #nsfr (not safe for ramadan), here is a list of things to tag:

  • food
  • nudes/ nsfw
  • kissing/ pda
  • smoking
  • bad language

I’d appreciate it if people reblog this so every muslim doesn’t have to ask the 400+ blogs they follow to tag stuff. Thanks!

Hey everyone, Mod Wesley here !! We recently got an ask requesting that we signal boost something relating to current events. And while we acknowledge the importance of spreading awareness of said issue, it is incredibly triggering and even with the addition of trigger warnings, we are also trying to keep in mind the fact that many people don’t use blacklisting applications (especially when using mobile) and instead rely on being selective about the blogs they follow. So while we understand the gravitas of the situation, in order to continue keeping this blog a safe space for our followers, we will not be reblogging posts about said issue.

If you’d like to know what’s going on, message me on my main blog (@moonbeamroses) and I can give you a list of applicable trigger warning and then link you to posts explaining what’s going on, if you’d like.

Thank you all for your understanding !! 💜💜💜💜💜

TL;DR: We will not be reblogging or signal boosting triggering content to this blog, to ensure it remains a positive safe space.

Mod Wesley

STARISH Confrontation

↳ Then and Now

I know it's easier said than does cuz the things reallllyyyyy aren't cheap (I'm 100% aware and very much relate to that struggle), but I have a lot of friends who are digital artists, and some struggle with the hand-eye coordination needed for regular tablets. If you ever have the opportunity, and want to really get into digital art, I'd really highly recommend trying out a cintiq!

oh yeah like…getting to try one of those babies is probably most artists dream, it’s certainly mine, but like…even a two-digit expense is largely out of my price range rn, let alone the 3 and 4 digit expense that would undoubtedly be

i’d LOVE to try one though, like just once…let alone use it for my art all the time, are you kidding? i’d Die my dude

maybe in the far future if i get Serious about art/get Popular i could take comissions & use any cash i got from that to start a cintiq fund but like even if i did have the funds it’s such a huge purchase i’d wanna make sure i was dead to rights serious as FUCK about my art before i poured that kinda money into it, you know?
