the year is 2037. gorillaz phase 10 is out. 2D is completely bald and murdoc is old and gray. literally his vibrant green skin has faded to a dull gray. his hair has thinned and left him with terf bangs, a bitter reminder of his previous beatles haircut. noodle and russel are still spry but russel’s beginning to feel his age. years of drumming have left him with terrible arthritis in his hands. noodle has pursued her dream of becoming a professional ramen maker and has her own ramen business, making the entire band doubly rich. the plot of phase 10 is that murdoc wandered off in a walmart and the rest of the band must find him but keep getting distracted by old people stuff. all of the songs on the album are about decorative soaps, candles and cheap food. the only music video produced this phase is just 2D complaining about the cheese being too expensive. he’s not even singing he’s just examining it and making dad noises. it actually turns out that murdoc has been dead since 2025 and his ghost has just been playing bass the entire time. he then possesses both russel and the walmart and traps everyone in there. russel and murdoc have become one ethereal being and from then on all phases take place in the demonic walmart.
Dear god the only people over-sexualizing Noodle are the people making a big fuss over the picture. She’s an adult woman with a female figure and there’s nothing wrong with her ass showing. THERES NOTHING SHAMEFUL ABOUT A WOMANS BODY. We all got an ass but we all don’t gotta act like one. Also….I love Noodle but I know she’s a damn animation! Stop acting like they put a 10 year old human with her ass out bent over for playboy. JESUS
What she means:
What the fuck actually happened to Noodle after El Manana? In the end of ROTO Murdoc makes it sound like she had safely slipped away to the Maldives, but Plastic Beach seems to completely contradict that idea. Why did he seem so shocked when he found out she was really alive? The fact that he scraped up some of her DNA at the crash site makes it seem like she actually died there. If that's the case than what was her panicked radio signal about? Did that poor thing really spend time in Hell? I can't cope with these loose ends.

I was talking to my brother the other day about something I swore I remembered but I can’t confirm anywhere.
Back in like, 2004/2005 I distinctly remember seeing the Feel Good Inc music video on Nickelodeon. The most strong memories I have are seeing it between AtLA episodes, and I probably only remember it cause the Gorillaz characters scared 9-10 year old me.
I’ve tried to ask friends around the same age as me but no one seems to remember it and suggests I probably saw it on MTV. But I swear it was Nick. Am I the only one?
Tite Kubo, author and artist of the manga series Bleach drew a tribute a few years back to celebrate the 10th anniversaries of both Bleach and Gorillaz’ self titled album. He has illustrated the four fictional members of Gorillaz as shinigami in the Gotei 13, while including this message:
The impact from “Clint Eastwood” still lingers 10 years on.
In the same year I started to draw my current work, Gorillaz released the 1st album. For these 10 years, Gorillaz have remained very special to me. They will continue to do so for the next 10.
Before the next 10 years begin, I need to listen to this album.
Thanks Gorillaz. All the best for the next 10 years.
