Hey! I don't know if you still do the character+ number thing, but anyway. Missy (of course) and 1, 10, 11 and 18.
Yes! Always doing them! Even if there isn’t a meme going around, I’m always down for headcanoning prompts.
1. Holiday headcanon
Missy’s favourite holiday is Christmas. She’s made a habit of sneaking into the Doctor’s TARDIS on Christmas Eve. The problem is, it’s his busiest time of year. It’s like he’s Santa or something. She’s waiting in the TARDIS, below decks, with a hot drink and some mistletoe. She waits a long time. Sometimes, by the time he returns, it’s almost New Year. Sometimes he doesn’t return at all (that time he took off with the wife for 24 years was particularly painful for Missy). Sometimes he returns, haggard, to find Missy curled up in his bed, half asleep waiting for him. Call it a Christmas miracle, but he smiles. There are no evil plans from her on Christmas (excluding strategically placed mistletoe, obviously).
She absolutely spoils him on Christmas, bringing him way more presents than he deserves (and no Cybermen! Well, she brought him a Cyberman hand one time, but that was an inside joke between them). She hides his presents around the TARDIS because he’s a big kid and likes to go hunting for them. Sometimes when he returns from the hunt, he finds the last present - the best one - a festively dressed Missy under the tree. He enjoys unwrapping that present the most.
He always forgets to get her presents. He apologises, but she brushes him off. The best present is just being there with him.
They have a Christmas lunch, cooked expertly by the TARDIS. They laugh and share stories and it’s all very lovely. Time Lords are above silly paper hats, so she says. But he likes the tradition so the come to a compromise where they will both provide a hat for the other as long as it didn’t come out of a cracker. He wears her fruit hat and finds one of his ridiculous old hats for her. There’s a new hat every year and yes, the fez makes an appearance. He tells her the story of River shooting it and she thinks maybe this woman isn’t entirely repulsive.
But the Christmas magic doesn’t last forever. The clock strikes midnight and it’s over for another year. She leaves because the alternative is him kicking her out and her hearts can’t take that. Only 364 days until next Christmas.
10. Physical appearance headcanon
Her hair, surprisingly, reflects the opposite of what her mental state is at the time.
Perfectly styled and not a hair out of place - bonkers!
Frizzy, wild hair - relatively sane (although is that because she styled it that was or is it just sex hair?)
11. Wardrobe headcanon
Her favourite item of clothing is her boots. The other clothes get tossed when they lose their usefulness, but she will polish her boots and take care of them until they look brand new. (Most of the time) she doesn’t have a wardrobe, so there’s nowhere to store them. She has an entire shelf in the Doctor’s wardrobe just devoted to the boots when she’s not using them.
When she moves into the vault, she demands he bring her a glass case to keep them in when she’s not using them.
“Where am I going to get a glass case for boots from?”
“Just steal one! I have just the one in mind.”
And that’s how the Doctor finds himself, in the Tower of London, trying to steal, not the Crown Jewels, but the case they live in.
18. Favorite possession headcanon
Well, obviously it’s the Doctor.
She, of course, also has a very special place in her heart for the brooch the Doctor gave her when her daughter
