More cross-processed 500T. I still have mixed feelings about the grain, but have yet to improve my workflow to reduce it while keep it looking natural. A lot of the noise reduction plugins seem to smooth areas but then create odd artifacts similar to jpg compression.
Finally shot and did some more development testing with Kodak 5219 cinema film. I was having issues getting the remjet off with only a pre-bath and agitation of my developing tank. Not sure how others have been able to do it, but this time around I unspooled the film after the developer and stop and washed it with a pec pad in distilled water before putting it back in the tank with stabilizer. All the frames seem to have turned out good this time with no leftover remjet residue. Now I just need to figure out the best way to minimize the grain appearance, I’ve become spoiled by medium format films.
