Barry slipped through the portrait hole into the Gryffindor common room. The space was packed with Gryffindors from every year celebrating their team winning the Quidditich cup. Large quantities of Butterbeer was being passed around to everyone. Seventh years were using their wands to sent up small fireworks that exploded in bursts of crimson and gold above everyone’s head. The Quidditich Cup itself held its place of honor on the mantle of the fireplace gleaming silver in the firelight.

Barry felt out of place here. The Hufflepuff’s were after all the team that lost to the Gryffindors. As the captain of the Hufflepuff team Barry felt it worse than anyone. Since their crushing defeat Barry had changed out of his black and yellow Quidditch robes into an inconspicuous pair of jeans and green sweater. The only reason he came here at all was to honor a bet.

this year i’d like to get a bit more portraiture in here. for christmas I got an m42 to x mount adapter meaning all my favorite lenses can come over to the xpro-1 now. that’s an exciting way to end the year.

this shot was from 2011, the day i got my m42 adapter for the pentax. that single purchase set the rest of the year off. I started street only a couple months later.

lets hope the new rig works as much magic.
