And when it was clear, they’d park her in the middle of nowhere, sit on the hood, and watch the stars… for hours… without saying a word. It never occurred to them that, sure, maybe they never really had a roof and four walls but they were never, in fact, homeless.
I already wrote about this few times, but I’m gonna do it again.
It’s “Swan Song”.And after that “Sacrifice”.But I like Swan Song better because the whole storyline in S5 was just amazing and tbqh it would make great series ending.(but i am happy it got S6 and so on).Everyone were so good in this episode.Sam,Dean,Cas,Bobby.It really showed the family side and TFW bond.It was one of these episode, were you cry your eyes out.You know? It was mindblowing. From Chuck/God,Impala description,Sam & Dean,Cas,Lucifer,Michael,Lisa.
When Dean went to that cemetery to be with Sam,in his last moments.Telling him it’s okay, that he’s here, that he won’t leave him even when Sam/Lucifer is beating the hell out of him.I cried so much during this part,I just couldn’t.
And when Sam gained control over Lucifer. Then figuring out that he has to jump in hell to save the world otherwise, the world will crash just knocked me in the feels.Telling Dean that’s okay, that he has Lucifer. That everything is going to be okay but everyone knows it won’t.And the flashbacks of them, since S1 and just the feels!!!!!!!!!!
His face when he was about to jump was nerve racking. His love towards his brother stopped the devil, but now,he has to leave him..
“It’s okay Dean, It’s gonna be okay. I’ve got him.”
Lucifer was awesome in this episode too. When he was drawing a pitchfork on the window HE literally froze.
“A wrestling match inside your noggin. I like the idea. Just you and me, one round, no tricks. You win, you jump in the hole. I win… well, then I win. What do you say, Sam? A fiddle of gold against your soul says I’m better than you.”
When Sam finally said Yes to Lucifer and when Luci took his body and they left. This was Dean’s reaction.I swear I could hear the sound of his heart break into millions of pieces.
Chuck’s story about impala was important to me.Because, like he said,it’s not just their car,it’s their home.
“The Impala, of course, has all of the stuff other cars have, and a few things they don’t. But none of that stuff’s important- this is the stuff thats’s important.”
“The army man that Sam crammed in the ashtray; it’s still stuck there. The lego’s Dean shoved in the vents. To this day, heat comes on, they can hear them rattle. These are the things that make the car their’s, really theirs.”
Only time I actually smilled a bit was when Cas called Michael assbutt. But then,Lucifer killed him so no smile for me.But it was brave for Cas to stood up to the devil and oldest archangel without hesitation.
Anyway I came to conclusion that I shouldn’t watch Swan Song if I’m not emotionally prepared for it.And I never am. This hug (end of Sam’s flashbacks) was just tears for me.Now I know what to expect the next time I watch it!
THE MOST CONFUSING THING!
IS CHUCK GOD? Look at it,he fricken disappeared. That’s why he’s not a prophet. He’s God.
“No doubt — endings are hard. But then again… nothing ever really ends, does it?”
“In between jobs, Sam and Dean would sometimes get a day–sometimes a week, if they were lucky. They’d pass the time lining their pockets. Sam used to insist on honest work, but now he hustles pool, like his brother. They could go anywhere and do anything. They drove a thousand miles for an Ozzy show. Two days for a Jayhawks game. And when it was clear, they’d park her in the middle of nowhere, sit on the hood, and watch the stars… for hours… without saying a word. It never occurred to them that, sure, maybe they never really had a roof and four walls but they were never, in fact, homeless.“
