Imagine Tony Stark being your father and you trying to date Peter Parker in secret.
Not a lot of people knew that your dad was Tony Stark. He liked to keep that kind of information on the downlow because he thought it helped to keep you safe. For the most part, you were fine with that. When people knew you were Tony Stark’s kid, they invariably wanted to meet him. You wanted people to be your friends because they liked you, not because they wanted to get closer to Iron Man and the Avengers.
Peter Parker had ben on your radar before your father’s interactions with him. You had shared a couple of classes. You had thought he was nice, if a bit of an outsider at times. When he started his ‘internship,’ you started spending more time together. Tony wanted you to keep an eye on him. You were happy to oblige.
Maybe a little too happy.
Having him over to study was your attempt at an excuse to spend some time together without Tony getting suspicious. To be fair, you had actually been doing some studying, so it wasn’t a total lie.
“There’s some cool movies coming out,” Peter piped up from where he was sitting next to you on your bed. “You wanna go see anything? Aunt May has a set of free pass coupons that’re only good to the end of the month.”
You arched a brow, “You don’t wanna take Ned?”
Peter blinked at you and pursed his lips, looking like the puppy he was. “I wanna take you.”
You gave his arm a light swat, “You’re such a suck, you know that?”
He grinned and draped himself over you, trapping you in his arms. “Please?” he asked, drawing out the ‘e’.
You laughed and leaned up to kiss him, “How can I say no to that face?”
Then the door was opening and even Peter’s reflexes couldn’t extricate him from you before your dad saw you both. Peter’s eyes stretched wide and he scrambled to sit up, “M-Mr. Stark, I- I wasn’t-”
“You’ve got five minutes to run, Spider-Boy.
“Y-yes, Mr. Stark.”
