Imagine falling asleep on Stephen Strange.

The training regimen at Kamar-Taj was different for everyone. There was a lot to learn and even more to unlearn. You often found yourself staying up long into the night scanning through the aged texts. Then you met Stephen Strange. He had arrived shortly after you to the temple. Despite his arrogance, you appreciated his intelligence and hunger for knowledge. It eventually became a habit for you to study with the former neurosurgeon.

You were more tired than usual this evening from a day of hard training so you were having some difficulty concentrating on your reading. Stephen didn’t seem to notice despite the two of you sitting next to each other on his bed. At least, he didn’t notice until your head fell on his shoulder. He blinked and looked over to you.

“Just tired,” you mumbled in answer to his unspoken question, stifling a yawn. He hummed in acknowledgement. Within minutes, you had drifted off to sleep. Your book slipped down to your lap. Stephen continued to read, listening to your breathing. After a moment, he carefully snaked an arm around your shoulders, trying to play it off as his attempt to get more comfortable. You shifted in your sleep and moved closer to him.

A small smile tugged his lips. “Just tired, my ass.”

If Peter has to die in Infinity War, even temporarily, I want to FEEL it. No boom, he’s dead, back to the battle.

I want to see Tony hugging his dead body, hear him screaming and crying like any dad who just lost his only child.

I want to see Groot realize that, though he’s just a teen, he’s not invulnerable.

I want to see Wanda cry because she can feel Peter’s death and Tony’s grief and she knows what it’s like to lose your whole world.

I want to see Strange run over and try to staunch the blood flow, do CPR, do anything to desperately try to save his new friend.

I want to see Rhodey pulling a struggling Tony away from Peter’s body, his own voice shaking as he tries futilely to calm his best friend down.

I want to see Clint and Scott pat whatever part of their uniforms holds the picture of their kids while Clint starts moving towards Wanda.

I want to see everyone look at the friends and loved ones they have on that battlefield with shock and grief and a new terror in their eyes because the teenager - the happy, sassy, brilliant teenager with a long life ahead of him who had more protection on that battlefield than anyone thanks to Stark tech and a hoard of protective adults - was just killed in front of them. And if he couldn’t survive… can any of them?

My new aesthetic is Marvel teaming Tom Holland with Benedict Cumberbatch for press

Cause he’s an adorable little shit who they know will spoil everything
