Boi, can you believe it’s already been a whole year since Horikoshi saved my life

another thing I love about this series is how well it shows depression. yes, they’re together and happy and loved, but that doesn’t erase all the bad things that have happened to them

But that’s just it, isn’t it? The build-up. He’s waited for this for years. He watched her have her first crush in elementary school (and, no surprise, it was not on him.) He watched her flirting with boys at middle school dances. He watched her making out with Jackson in the hallways in high school. He watched her grow up, grow into herself, grow through all the pain of being alive. And all that time, all he had wanted was exactly what he has now. And he feels frozen. He feels stuck in his own incompetence.

but like how terrifying must it have been for andrew to experience this heart pounding fixation w someone like he never has before in his LIFE

and to come off of his meds and realize his feelings are real & unavoidable

falling back on his medication as an excuse for the strangeness in his heart, having that excuse ripped out from under him so all that’s left is neil staring and following and asking him for things

and realizing he wants to give him it all

The Heart of the Jungle: Chapter 6/6 by @esselley

Danger looms. Adventure awaits. The jungle calls. And Hinata meets a curious stranger there, who shows him what it means to be truly needed.

Time was dwindling. But for every one sunset that took them closer to Hinata’s departure, it brought a new day for Hinata to fall, heart dropping down into his stomach or jumping into his throat, as he loved Tobio more and more. That was what he wanted the memory to be.
