Life excites me. I’m not talking about appearing in movies or doing interviews, but just little, normal, everyday things. Getting out of bed. Getting dressed. Making food. I find it all exciting, you know?
I too am baffled by the number of people needed to make a film. I always feel duty bound to watch, and even read, the names of any film that I am in. It’s the least expression of thanks that I can give. You could sympathise with those gardeners in the “green” department who keep the vegetation looking fresh even when it’s made of plastic.
There’s a real purity in New Zealand that doesn’t exist in the States. It’s actually not an easy thing to find in our world anymore. It’s a unique place because it is so far away from the rest of the world. There is a sense of isolation and also being protected.
