this wh*te boy at the bus stop saw that i was listening to Sonic Youth and literally went out of his way to sit next to me on the bus … if he starts talking to me about music im going to walk off the bus and into traffic

i remember when i first listened to pinkerton i thought it was the saddest album ever. and now that ive listened to schizophrenia by sonic youth it affects me more than the songs on pinkerton, which by now im extremely familiar with. it makes me sad to know if i get into sonic youth and listen to that song more, itll lose its effect on me. even tho itll still be a great song like the pinkerton songs it will lose a big part of its current appeal to me…….
