All I Ask - Part 3

“Kendall, Y/N, this way!” Photographers on the red carpet yelled from every angle.
Kendall and I linked arms and posed for them, slowly making our way down the carpet and stopping every 3 minutes
to get more photos taken. “Where’s Hails?” Kendall said, furrowing her brows as the entire carpet directed their attention
to a car that was pulling up. “Hailey!” Photographers yelled, causing us to laugh. We decided to wait for her where we
told her we would meet. The end of the carpet, by the big tree. “Hailey, you look stunning!” Photographers were snapping pictures
left and right as Kendall and I took some selfies while we waited for her to meet us, so we could finish walking the carpet together.

“She brought a date!” A photographer yelled, setting up his lights to get the perfect picture. Kendall and I looked at each other, confused.
She didn’t tell us she was bringing a date? “JUSTIN,” “JB” “JUSTIN, THIS WAY MAN,” I heard, causing the entire carpet to cheer. Except for Kendall & I.
It was like I was about to faint. My friend brought my ex as a date? Kendall rubbed my shoulder causing me to jump out of my thoughts. “Are you okay?”
Kendall asked, causing me to shake my head. Of course I wasn’t okay. I wasn’t expecting to see him here. With my friend. Well, not so great of a friend at the
moment. “I’ll be fine. We’re finishing this carpet. Without Hailey.” I stated, fixing my lipstick and grabbing her arm. “Atta girl, he ain’t shit.” Kendall said,
making me chuckle. Posing for an hour straight was tiring. It was even more tiring when there was only one thing consuming my thoughts. Was I actually over him?
Sure, I’m in a better place. I’ve come to peace with the breakup, I’m happy again. But was I really over him? Feeling a tap on my shoulder, I snapped out of my thoughts, again. Look who it was, none other than Hailey. “Hey girl!” Hailey chirped, bringing me in to a hug, that I didn’t return. She tried to hug Kendall too, but she wasn’t feeling her either. “What’s up with you two?” Haiey said, folding her arms causing me to scoff. “Are you serious?” Kendall said, shaking her head. “Why’d you bring Justin as your date?” I said, rolling my eyes. “Because he’s my friend?” She replied, but it came out as a question. “Whatever Hailey, Ken and I are going to go do what we were originally going to do with you, but to be honest, I’m not feeling you. Have fun with Justi-” I got cut off by Justi approaching us as I completely turned around and started walking. “Y/N.” I heard the same raspy voice that I loved for years. Don’t, Y/N. Keep walking. “Y/N,” he repeated. This time, I turned around and almost died. There he was. I haven’t seen him in two years and he was standing in front of me. Don’t fall in to his trap again. “How have you been?” Justin asked causing me to chuckle. “Shouldn’t matter to you,” I said, folding my arms, looking to the side to see Kendall and Hailey talking. Kendall was using her hands to talk. That’s never good. “It matters, Y/N.” He said lowly, stepping closer to me. “Now, I’m gonna ask again, how have you been?” He whispered, sending chills down
my body. “I’ve been better. I don’t know what you expect.” I said, looking up to him. “I’m not sure either.” He said back, staring at me directly in the eyes.
“Y/N, can we talk?” He spoke up this time, causing me to close my eyes and take a deep breath. “No, we can’t Justin. You can’t leave me heartbroken like you did. You left me. I cried every night for 4 months straight. I had to fucking rebuild my happiness, the happiness you took with you when you left me. So, no, we can’t talk, you said what you needed to say two years ago.” I said, sighing at the end. No matter how bad I wanted to talk to him, hold him, kiss him, cuddle him, be with him, I couldn’t. I couldn’t set myself up for disaster again. “Y/N listen, I will do whatever it takes to see you happy again. I get that I’m the reason you don’t trust, the reason you’re unhappy, the reason you cried every night. I wish I could go back and change that, Y/N. I thought I was doing the best thing that I could for us. Y/N, we fought way too much for us to have a healthy relationship and I thought by me ending it, no matter how much it hurt both of us, I would be helping us. Instead, it made it worse and I am completely aware of that. Y/N, these two years have been hell. I barely sleep, I’ve turned to alchol, and weed. You’re the one that has kept me grounded, happy, and stable for so long. Y/N, I need you back, baby.” Tears were forming in my eyes. Do I believe him? “Y/N, say something, please.” Justin choked out, causing me to grab his arm. I pulled him in to the ‘FAMILY’ bathroom so we could talk in private. I still hadn’t replied. My thoughts were consuming me again.
There was no doubt that I would get back together with him. There was no doubt that I still loved him with everything in me. “Justin, I don’t know what to say to that.” “Y/N, baby, you don’t understand. Even though we broke up, I still see a future with you. You’re still the only one I want. I can promise you that.” “Justin, you promised me a lot of things. One of them being that you would never leave me, no matter how hard times got.” I said lowly, hoping he wouldn’t hear my voice crack from the amount of tears that were threatening to spill out of my eyes. “I’ve changed. Y/N, these past two years I’ve changed. I’ve been trying to be better. I’ve finally figured out how to be a better man for you. That’s why I’m talking to you now. Admitting what I did.” He sighed, grabbing my hand. “Y/N, it’s always been you.”
Deciding to completely ignore that statement, I sighed, “Why is Hailey your date?” I asked. “I came with her to talk to you. I knew you were going to be here. If I came alone, it would be a lot harder to find you. I knew you’d see Hailey, though. I basically used her to get to you.” He chuckled, causing me to smile slightly. “Back to being serious. Y/N, I know I broke your trust. I will do anything I can to make you happy, and to be able to trust again. I promise I will love you no matter what. I have never stopped loving you,” he said, rubbing the top of my hand with his thumb. “Fine.” I said, causing him to furrow his eyebrows. “Fine?” He questioned.
“Justin. I forgive you, okay? We can try ‘us’ again, but please don’t make me regret this. Don’t make me look like an idiot for taking you back.” I said.
“I promise baby, I promise.” He said, cupping my chin in his hand, as he leaned down, connecting our lips for the first time in two years. “God, I missed these,” he said, kissing me again. He leaned his forehead against mine. “I love you, Y/N.” He whispered, causing me to smile. “I love you too, Justin.”

“Alright, let’s make this official, yeah?” Justin said, grabbing my hand as we left the bathroom. “Holy shit! Look, Y/N and Justin!” Several people yelled,
causing us to laugh.

We finally found Kendall. We walked over to her table, hand in hand. Her eyes widened and she almost spit out her water. “What the fuck - when did this happen?“  "Like 20 minutes ago, inside of a bathroom.” Justin laughed, looking at me smiling. “I’ll fill you in later, Ken.” I said, her just nodding in response.

“Where is Hailey?” I asked, as she pointed to the drink table. I went and walked over to her, apologizing for being a bitch.
