I took Milly into a room at the inlaw’s house that is mostly windows, where the view is just really lush greenery from the garden (complete with a wonderful breeze coming in through the windows). She was really excited about it!
Guys what do you think about owen apparently moving in with someone? Could this person be Amelia or is she actually going to live with Meredith?? I would really like to hear your opinions on this. I am kind of worried here…
Wow, the responses I’m getting for this series is amazing. I am so close to 100 followers, and it’s because of you guys. Thank you :) Here is part 3. I am finally starting to get on track with posting it. Part 1 and Part 2 can be found there. Hope you enjoy the third installment. This is the part with the first confrontation after the confession. As always, let me know what you think!
It’s almost as if this perfect life he had already started envisioning for the two of them was slowly fading away. He needed to talk to her. It had only been a few hours. There patient was fine, but their future wasn’t. It was late, no doubt, but that wouldn’t stop him from driving over to her house to talk to her. He walked up the door, and contemplated if he was doing something that would help or harm what they were.
Knock, Knock, Knock.
The door opened, and there she was. She looked even more beautiful then she was before.
“Hi.” That was all she could say.
“I feel like what happened earlier was left unfinished.” Owen told her.
“I’m sorry, that’s not what I meant to do. We are just moving so fast, don’t you think?” Amelia asked.
“No, I don’t. Amelia, I’m so in love with you. My feelings for you, they’re real. I want everything with you. I want to kiss you, love you, and grow old with you. I’m not afraid anymore. This is a lot, I know, but-” In that moment, her lips were on his in a fiery passion. They’ve shared numerous hot kisses before, but there was something about their reunion that made it more passionate then usual. she felt safe, right there in his arms. She pulled away first, and looked into his eyes.
"I love you too, Owen. it’s just that you said it so suddenly that I didn’t have enough time to prepare my response.” Amelia joked. Again, their lips were pressed together. It was Owen that initiated this time. In one fluid motion, he picked her up off her feet.
“Is anyone here?” Owen asked, breathlessly in between kisses.
“No,” was all that would come out of her mouth in the heat of the moment. she fumbled with the door handle and they finally got inside. Owen pushed her up against the back of the door and kissed her neck, where he knew he’d get a positive reaction. Within moments it seemed like, they were in her bedroom, clothes shed.
Owen woke up, with Amelia in his arms. This feeling of them being in a relationship felt amazing. all it is, is pure bliss. Amelia’s eyes flickered open.
“Hey.” Amelia said, looking at her handsome boyfriend.
“Hi,” He looked at her, “You’re so beautiful.”
She smiled, “Last night was amazing.”
“It was. I’m honestly surprised they didn’t hear us.” Owen joked, kissing her.
“Are you ready for round 7?” Amelia said, rolling them over.
“Always.” Owen told her, kissing her.
Knock, Knock. “Amelia! Open the door!” Meredith yelled.
“Damnit. I’ll be right there,” Amelia said, getting up and gesturing Owen towards her closet naked, “you, you need to hide in here. She can’t know you’re here.” Amelia put on a robe, and opened the door.
“Hey.” Amelia said, cheery.
“I heard some yelling last night coming from your room. Wanna explain?” Meredith asked.
“Meredith, you aren’t my mother.” Amelia responded.
“No, but if there’s someone in my house, I want to know about it. So is there?” Meredith asked.
“No, there isn’t.” Amelia said, too quickly to be believable.
“Then what was the screaming?” Meredith asked, curious as to if she should believe her sister in-law.
“I was watching a movie, and got a little carried away.” She said, fake laughing in her best way possible.
“Okay, then. I’ll see you at work.” Meredith said, walking away while Amelia shut the door. Owen popped out of the closet, as Amelia was walking towards her bathroom.
“I need a shower.” Amelia said, stripping off her robe and looking back at Owen, who stood up and followed her.
ABOUT 2 HOURS LATER
Amelia walked up to Owen in the hallway.
“Hey, I have a very important question, Doctor Hunt.” Amelia stated.
“Of course, Doctor Shepherd.” Owen said, walking Amelia to an empty patient room.
“What’s up?” Owen asked.
“Have you told anyone, about us?” Amelia asked, with a serious tone in her voice.
“I may have told Callie. But I trust her.” Owen said.
“I wish you would’ve told me.” Amelia said, crossing her arms across her chest.
“Sorry, I didn’t think about it. I will make it up to you later.” Owen said, winking at her, before walking out.
Amelia played with her fingers as she stood at the nurses station a few minutes later. A lot of things and possibilities were running through her mind. She looked around and saw just the person she was looking for.
“Arizona, can I talk to you real quick? It’s kind of important.” Amelia asked.
“Yeah, sure!” Arizona said, walking to an on-call room.
“What’s going on?” Arizona said, as Amelia walked in and shut the door behind her.
“Okay, so when I tell you this, you have to promise me you wont say anything to anyone, especially Owen.” Amelia told her.
“Okay, I won’t, I promise.” Arizona said, in response.
“Owen and I have been seeing each other.” Amelia said.
Sort of a follow up to this. Late night lore lessons at the lake dragged out a bit, Zel fell asleep but almost toppled over because he’s heavy. Amelia ended up part pillow, part support. Doesn’t mind much.
“Tell me honestly that you siding with me today was only about that patient? It had nothing to do with you and me? Why… the only reason you even walked into that room was because you heard my voice and you wanted to check on me and see me because of your personal feelings. I know, because I would have done the same thing. Because we can’t help it. We are hard-wired. Our brains change when we… When we fall for another person, our neurological pathways get altered, and we make choices.”
