i feel like jungkook would be the type to lay on top of you while you’re on your phone or watching tv and he would just sit there and play with your hair and make cute little noises to get your attention and when he finally does get your attention he would hide his face and smile rly big and act shy and probably say something like “your hair is soft” and adfdg kill me now
This shouldn’t need to be said, but I really feel like I have to say something. People seem to forget that YouTubers are human. They seem to forget that they have feelings and that they have lives and that YouTube isn’t necessarily the only thing they ever worry about.
People seem to forget that YouTubers are not objects or toys that are designed to entertain us. People get selfish an don’t want to share them, they don’t want to see them move on to other things.
At the end of the day, they’re just people. They have lives. They have friends and significant others who they put before their careers (and rightfully so) and, most importantly, they have emotions.
They have emotions that can be shattered by harsh things people spew at them. They may not show these emotions in every video they make (or in any of them) but they’re still there. Depression can be so easily masked by a big smile and a loud laugh. It’s so easy to hide for some people.
The best way to get out your feelings is to talk about them. YouTubers are no different. If talking helps them, then they are going to turn to their biggest support group. You. They want your support. They want their voice to be heard by people who care because in that moment, that’s what they need.
When you mock them or make jokes about that, it’s going to hurt. They may never even see those jokes, but what if they did.
Instead of idolizing YouTubers and putting them on these pedestals, think of them as an adult or parent or just someone you know in your everyday life. Would you force those people into relationships (with yourself or others) because you believe that they belong with that person and no one else? Would you ruin their current relationship to do that? Would you purposefully be mean/hurtful to them after they spoke their feelings to you? Would you stop talking to them altogether and hate them because they said/did one thing wrong?
Probably not. You’d likely work things out, and you know what? It’s not that different in these fandoms. Sure, you may not be able to directly affect things like this when it comes to a YouTuber/community relationship, but you can sure as hell try. If you be nice, then maybe you can convince someone else to be nice.
Let’s talk about Poe Dameron for a minute. Not the fandom created “flirty, cocky smart mouth” Poe Dameron, but the real and incredibly interesting Poe Dameron.
This is a man who risks his own life, dives back into the line of fire, in order to save someone who got left behind. He willingly runs back to rescue Threepio when the latter can’t keep up in Issue #12 (or #13, I can’t remember which) and literally picks Threepio up and throws him over his shoulder.
This is a man who is so dedicated to the cause, that even Leia Organa, Queen of Dedicated, comments that she sometimes worries “what that dedication may cost him.”
This is a man whose enemy makes the comment that he “has” to save everyone, and it’s true. Poe wants/needs to save everyone, and when he can’t? It breaks his heart:
This is a man who went through physical torture long before he went through mental torture under the hands of Kylo Ren. He endured the physical torture for an undocumented amount of time without breaking. And under the imminent threat of mental torture, all he says is “The Resistance is not intimidated by you.”
Poe is the man who broke regulation to find out what the First Order what was up to after a close friend of his was killed in a battle and the New Republic wouldn’t do anything about it (which led to him joining the Resistance). This is the man who couldn’t even voice the possibility of BB-8 possibly being destroyed.
And above all, he’s loyal. Extremely loyal. To his family, to the cause, to Leia, to his squadron, to his droid. He goes back to Jakku for BB-8, and you can bet that even if BB-8 hadn’t had the map, Poe would have still gone back for it. He hates not being able to trust his squadron, he gets openly frustrated (even with BB-8) after realizing that there could be a traitor in his squadron*
He gets even more frustrated and upset when both BB-8 and Threepio “sacrifice” themselves so he can escape with a droid that may or may not have information regarding Snoke, and can’t believe that it’s “gotten to this point.”
(literally don’t even get me started on that one)
Poe Dameron is literally such an interesting character and only gets more and more complex the more we learn about him. And this is all just from: one movie, 12 (or 13) comic book issues, and a short story.
I honestly can’t wait to see what they have in store next for his character.
*after a few issues of optimistically hoping that his and BB-8′s suspicions were wrong about there being a traitor.
Sheith headcanon: when they go to bed at night the tend to switch up who is the little and big spoon. But more often then not Keith tends to be the big spoon because it makes shiro feel safe and warm inside. On bad days tho, where someone almost dies or they couldn’t save everyone, shiro tends to big spoon because he has a horrible sense and need to protect. He needs to feel like he isn’t completely useless, like he can still save someone. Keith understands and tends to rub up and down the arms around him till it lulls shiro to sleep.
