I’m really missing my old mates right now! We used to just pile into mine and a mates car and go drive around to random parts of town (like down to the canals and the woodlands). We’d park up, play our music and just chat shit. Some days I wish I’d never gone to university ✌🏼💕
In the meanwhile I’ve been setting up this wonderful Dutch world called Lowlands. It’s a real gem and it’s so much fun to go through a Sim’s world and actually feel at home lol.
I disabled the use of cars so here’s hoping that townies will use the bikes I set up the town’s homes with. (I wish I could insert the sound of the carillons I’m hearing right now through the open window)
Anyways, I gave some of your sims a home and a family and Dutchified their names. :D
In this pic you can see Belinda and Anneke. Two policewomen (or firefighter I haven’t decided yet) with their kids Saskia and Thijs and their dog Dutch. Belinda is one of my own sims and is with me for quite a long time. Anneke was made by @monsternoirsims and was called Miley in a former life lol. :))
They live in the Zaanse huisjes in Lowlands. Hope I’ll be able to play them for a bit today. Have a beautiful Sunday!
idk I don’t wanna get into a fight but the Maladaptive Daydreaming writing prompt really bothers me, like I know the person who submitted it has MaDD but
its hard enough to get people to take it seriously. Including doctors! And it can be terrifying to feel like you’re not able to control your own mind. At my worst I was constantly afraid that I’d just never come back to reality one day. It takes being on meds for me to be able to control it and actually participate in my own life.
Right now is not a good time to be normalizing it with tumblr reblog games. Maybe a prompt like that for the MaDD community would be different, but something that’s gonna reach everywhere on tumblr with no context is kinda harmful to those of us who need help, its just gonna add to the “special snowflake” bullshit that gets thrown at even mental illnesses that’re more well known.
So basically, I wanted to really surprise
Seán with his gift, and hear him yell ‘Toriko’, so I was like ‘oh I’ll ask him to close his eyes, yell Trico, and then ask him to open his eyes, and like BOOM! Trico.’ As soon as I asked him the words ‘close your eyes’, I knew it sounded really creepy (fuck), but he humoured me, and it was lots of fun. I’m really happy he likes it!
