Pairing: Jughead x Reader

Description: A confrontation ensues between the reader and the writer

Warnings: none

A/N: I’m glad you guys liked the first part so much! Enjoy part 2!

(Y/N) didn’t return to Pop’s.  Every night, Jughead sat in his normal booth typing on his computer, but his eyes constantly flicked up towards the entrance.  His friends noticed his shift in attitude.

“Jug,” Archie sat across from him, “you gotta snap out of this.”

“Out of what?” Jughead asked monotonously, rolling his eyes.  “I’m fine, Archie.”

“I know you like to sit here and brood all mysteriously,” Veronica interjected, “but this is sad. Just call (Y/N).”

“(Y/N)?” he scoffed.  “This isn’t about (Y/N).”  When the entire table sent him disbelieving looks, he sighed and looked out the window.  “I already called her.”

“How many times?” Kevin asked with a smirk.  Jughead sighed again, refusing to make eye contact with anyone.

“Every night.” Archie, Betty, Veronica, and Kevin all shared a knowing glance.  “I know what you guys are thinking and no, it’s not like that.  I’m not some pathetically smitten person, okay?”

“Okay, Jughead,” Betty said, but rolled her eyes.  “If you insist.”

To say (Y/N) felt guilty would be an understatement.  From the moment she stomped out of that diner, regret gnawed at her inside out. Without the consistency of her nightly stops in Pop’s, she didn’t know what to do with herself.  She spent every night after school in her room sulking. Every night, her phone rang, lighting up with Jughead’s name.  She was tempted to answer it every night, her finger hovering over the answer button, but then she turned away and ignored his call.  (Y/N) missed Pop’s: she missed the delicious foods, the quiet yet comforting atmosphere, and the person who sat across from her in their usual booth.

One day, Jughead sat with an uneaten burger in front of him, laptop closed.  Today had been an especially slow day, both in Jughead’s mind and Pop’s.  Suddenly, a jingle of the bell signaled that someone new entered the diner.  Jughead sat up a bit to see who it was.  When he identified the new customer, he perked up immediately.  Grabbing a book, he shot up and walked over to the table where she had just sat down.

“(Y/N) (Y/L/N),” he said, slamming down the book in front of her, “is an author from the 18th century.  She wrote four novels, all of them published under an alias at first.  It was not until two hundred years later that the true author was discovered.  She has been dead for over two hundred years, and she is most certainly not you.”  (Y/N) looked up at him with wide eyes.

“What, I can’t have the same name as someone else?” she fired back, but there was a waver in her voice. Jughead glared as he sat down across from her.

“You see, I would think that, too,” Jughead responded, his voice dripping with sarcasm, “but I searched for you online, and I couldn’t find anything on you.  Not one thing.”

“I like to keep my life private.  I don’t publish stuff about me online.”

“Yeah, but there’s something about everyone on the world wide web if you look hard enough,” Jughead explained, his voice accusingly sharp.  “Now I have two theories: one, you’re a very experienced hacker, and you’ve gone and wiped all information regarding you off the internet; or two, you’re hiding something, and you’re using a dead unpopular author’s name to keep your real identity a secret.  Personally, I’m choosing the latter, considering how well-read you are.”  (Y/N) stared at Jughead with sad, wide eyes.  “When were you going to tell me?”

“I wasn’t,” she whispered. Jughead clenched his jaw and shook his head.

“Whatever,” he mumbled, standing up.  He began to walk away when (Y/N) shot up from her seat.

“I was born in Riverdale,” she called out to him.  Jughead stopped in his tracks and slowly turned around.

“What?”

“I was born in Riverdale,” she repeated slower.  Jughead neared the table and sat down across from (Y/N).

“So what?”

“So I-,” she started, “I can’t- I can’t just tell you everything.”  Jughead rolled his eyes and began to push his chair out when (Y/N) placed her hand on his, her eyes silently begging him to stay.  “If you care, you’ll trust me.”

“What makes you think I care?” Jughead demanded, and (Y/N) couldn’t help but notice how he didn’t move his hands out from under hers.

“Because you called?” she offered, causing Jughead to sit up a little straighter.  “You called me every night, Jug.”

“I was worried,” he muttered, looking away.  (Y/N) smiled, patted his hand, and stood up.

“Keep writing, Jughead. See you around.”  Spinning on her heel, (Y/N) grabbed her copy of The Picture of Dorian Gray and exited the diner.  Jughead’s eyes followed her figure out until the door closed behind her.  Then he pulled out his laptop and started to furiously type.

And so, a little light shined on the dark mystery of Riverdale’s (Y/N) (Y/L/N) like the calm before the storm.  The writer becomes the reader, the reader becomes the read.  I found myself hooked on her just from a little information, like a drug addict craving his fix.  New girls can never hide in a small town like Riverdale, but God, I knew (Y/N), in all her enigmatic splendor, would lurk in the shadows of this town for as long as she possibly could.”

Take a Seat - Pietro Maximoff Drabble

Request: (by anon) pietro x reader + “Sit in my lap”

Words: 869

A/N: I don’t know how I feel about this! :P I’m sorry if this is weird or cringe-worthy! How do you do the whole sexy thing?

You had just won a tedious battle with your team, the Avengers. The battle waged for hours and caused extensive damage to the surrounding areas. Your bones ached, your muscles were sore, and you were covered in cuts and bruises. It was definitely a battle for the history books.

After such a battle, the team was starving and therefore thrilled when they came across a small diner that was still functional. Somehow Tony had convinced the owners to stay open and provide you all with some meals.

Everyone slumped into the diner and pushed a couple of unbroken tables together before plopping down into their chairs for a much-needed rest. You looked around at all the shattered glass and debris, trying to find an extra chair. Somehow, every chair that wasn’t already in use was smashed to bits. Just your luck!

You sighed heavily, not wanting to be on your feet a second longer. Despite that, you just leaned against the dusty counter, trying to shift your weight from one foot to the other.

“[Y/N], why don’t you sit down and join us?” Steve asked, slightly confused.

Your response was to pick up a busted bar stool to present as evidence.

“Oh.” Steve nodded. “Well here, take my seat.”

“No, you sit. You’re in worse shape than I am.” You dismissed him.

“Please, I insist.” You shook your head.

“Sit in my lap.” Pietro suggested, drawing all eyes towards him.

“That’s a little bold, don’t you think?” You raised an eyebrow.

Pietro had a habit of flirting with you, which usually you didn’t mind, but it wasn’t something you were up to dealing with while you were this dog-tired.

“No funny business, I promise. Just a friend helping a friend out.” He assured you.

“No ulterior motive?” You seemed suspicious.

“Cross my heart.” He drew an ‘x’ over his heart.

You reluctantly hobbled over to where he sat and carefully sat down on his lap, wincing as your body wanted to give out.

“There. Now was that so bad?” He smirked causing you to roll your eyes.

One of the owners came by and took your orders, while the other one double checked that the kitchen was still up to code. Miraculously, it seemed as if the kitchen was the only part in the whole place that was untouched by the battle.

You all silently rested as you waited for your food. After eating for a little while, you all started to regain some energy, lightening the mood a bit. You all began to talk about the battle. The good, the bad, what you could’ve done differently. Somehow you ended up geeking out over each other. 'Did you see Wanda do this’ or 'how about when Thor did that?’ The more you spoke, the more lively you all became.

Pietro excitedly recounted how he took out thirty enemies in ten seconds, his new record. One thing to know about the Sokovian was that when he got excited, he spoke with his hands. As he spoke, you could feel his arms flailing behind your back, which made you snicker. When he finished his story, he absentmindedly rested his hand on your upper thigh, causing your heart rate to increase slightly.

You tried to ignore it, but his touch was ever-present. Because of his super speed, he constantly radiated heat, which lead him to unintentionally ease your pain and relax your muscles. But it wasn’t just the temporary relief he caused that gave you comfort, it was just being in close proximity to him. You liked him and you often flirted back with him, but you were teammates so you never let yourself give in to him. Teammates shouldn’t date, it would be a bad idea. Wouldn’t it?

You slowly moved your opposite hand over to where his sat. He began to apologize before stopping once he realized that you weren’t pushing it away, but were instead holding it. Taking that as a hint that you were in a flirty mood now, he took and wrapped his arms around your waist and pulled you closer to him. You felt a hitch in your breath, which Piet must’ve noticed because the moment that nobody was looking he began peppering your shoulder and neck with sweet, soft kisses.

When the others looked in your direction next, they pretended not to notice as a blush crept up your neck.

“You know what,” you sighed, “I’m not really feeling well. So, I’m gonna go rest in the Quinjet while you guys finish eating.”

You weren’t fooling anyone, but nobody cared enough to call your bluff. So, you slowly got to your feet and slightly limped to the door.

“Now that you mention it, you don’t look like you’re in very good shape,” Pietro added, “let me help you.”

You nodded and in a flash, he was over to you and was carrying you bridal style before racing off.

“You think that’s just a friend helping another friend out?” Natasha smirked.

“You owe me twenty bucks.” Steve said to a cursing Tony.

Sleeping Over

Combined request from two anon readers for a Jax x Reader using the following prompts:

#18 - “You’re warm, s'great for cuddling.“

#36 - “Woah, I never knew you had a tattoo!”

Originally posted by marip0sadahlia

Throwing yourself down on the couch, you yawn, the episodes of today wearing you out.

Pretty much all day you’d been helping Jax redecorate the house, him deciding he wanted a fresh start combined with the fact that Abel was dying for a race car bed, so why not just give him a whole new room?

You’re probably the strongest mother figure that Abel has, although yours and Jax’s relationship is only platonic. Of course, you’d love it to be more than that, but you’re not one to push, and Jax has been through more than enough these past few months.

The man himself appears from the hallway, smirking at you before lifting your legs up and sitting down on the couch, your limbs being draped across him. “Look at you, all worn out.”

“I have been helping you since eight this morning.” you remind him, your eyes flickering to the clock on the wall. “I’d say fourteen hours of work is more than long enough to tire anybody out.”

Jax whistles lowly, his head lolling back as he looks up at the ceiling, his hands moving soothingly up and down your legs. “I guess time flies when you’re having fun, babe.”

“Easy for you to say. I’m pretty sure half of your paint went in my hair.” Jax chuckles in response, your fingers pulling at the knotted strands that are splattered with blue pigment. “I should be going anyway.”

“Or, you could stay.” Jax suggests, your cheeks tickling pink as he turns on his pleading eyes and his charming smile. Pretending to think about it for a minute, you roll your eyes, nodding in acceptance.

“Guess it makes more sense, probably easier for you to put me through more slave labour if I stay the night.” Jax smiles at you, the sight seemingly more beautiful everytime you see it. “Is it alright if I take a quick shower?”

“Sure. We could take one together, you know, save water and all that.” he says, a smirk on your lips. Sitting up, you move your legs from his lap, tapping his cheek twice before standing.

“Keep dreaming, big boy.”

You walk through to the bedroom from the bathroom, humming a random tune as the smell of Jax covers you, the combination of his shower gel and his clothes that you’re currently wearing making you smell nothing but him. Moving to the mirror, you adjust the waistband of Jax’s sweatpants, running your fingers over the inked writing on your hip.

“Woah, never knew you had a tattoo.” You almost jump out of you skin as Jax speaks from the doorway, a smirk on his lips as you look over your shoulder.

“What can I say? I’m full of surprises.“ He shakes his head and smiles before stepping back and heading into the bathroom. “You still sleeping on the right side?”

The toilet flushes, followed by the running of the tap, before Jax reappears in the bedroom. “Yeah. Surprised you still remember.”

“Of course I do, I used to stop here all the time before you started being a dirty stop out.“ You tease, your heart clenching at the idea of Jax sleeping with other women. Many other women.

“Jealousy suits you, babe. You mind?“ he asks, gesturing to his shirt. You shake your head, trying to contain the flush that’s definitely crawling up your face as his toned physic comes into view. However, the knowing look in his eyes makes you think he’s already aware of the effect he has on you.

The two of you pull up the covers, slipping inside the sheets. For some people, sharing a bed with a male friend would be awkward, but for you and Jax, it was comfortable, normal.

Once he’s turned out the lights, Jax settles into the bed, the two of you facing one another, a barely there gap between your faces. “Thanks for today. Sometimes I wonder where I’d be without you.”

You smile within the moonlit room, Jax’s expression changing to a slightly more troubled one. The struggle and hurt is heavy within his eyes, the man in front of you having seen a lot more shit than most.

“Probably dead.” you deadpan, attempting to lighten the mood. You pat yourself on the back mentally when it works, Jax’s pink lips tugging up slightly. Rolling his eyes he turns onto his back, lifting his arm up and silently inviting you into him.

You comply - obviously - shifting to rest your head on his chest, his arm closing around you as you rest your palm on his chest. He sighs, content with your position, something about you just calming him like nothing else could.

“You’re warm. S'great for cuddling.” you whisper, Jax trailing his fingertips up and down your arm as you close your eyes, the melodic sound of his steady heart beat acting as your lullaby. He hums in response, a gentle kiss being placed on the top of your head.

“Abel loves having you around, you know.” Butterflies swarm your stomach at Jax’s words, your ears open and listening, your mouth not sure what to say. “So do I. Just feels right, like everything isn’t completely shit.”

“I like being here, feels like home.” you admit, placing a small, experimental kiss on Jax’s chest, his grip on your arm tightening encouragingly. Grinning to yourself, you wrap your arm around his torso, part of you wanting to see if anything progresses tomorrow and the other half wanting to stay here forever. “Goodnight, J.”

“Goodnight, (Y/N).” Jax says, holding you close within his arms, the two of you drifting into the best sleep you’ve had in ages.

A/N - Hope you liked this!! I wish I had me a Jax Teller 😭 maybe without the cheating😂 Check out my masterlist if you’re new, I write mainly SOA but also some SPN! Tomorrow’s imagine will be a Chibs x Reader! ❤

Part 2   Part 3

“(Y/N)!” your name carried through the halls above the chatter of the student body. Eyebrows furrowed, you jerked your head out from your locker to see who was beckoning. You spotted Peter’s dark curls bobbing amongst the crowd towards you.

“(Y/N),” Peter gasped. He leant against the locker next to yours, breathing heavily.

You raised your brows in amusement. “Yes?” you asked, curious as to what would motivate Peter to run.

Peter swallowed, “I need your help.”

“With what?” you turned back to your locker to shove your math textbook inside and grab your jacket.

“Ummm… well… it’s about…” he lowered his voice to a barely audible whisper and leaned closer. “It’s about Liz.”

You tilted your head away from him slightly to hide the anguish that quickly flashed on your face. “What about Liz?” you tried to keep your voice steady and calm. A difficult feat, as you felt a pit drag your stomach and your breath catch high in your throat.

“I—I uh—well—I have a date with her,” he stammered

“What?!” you exclaimed, shocked. “Wow, Peter!” You tried to shove out any tone of sadness in your voice. You knew how much courage it must’ve taken this nervous but excited and eager romantic buzzing next to you.

“Yeah,” he breathed.

“Did you just ask her?” you guessed.

“Yeah. Yeah I did,” his ecstatic state quickly turned into a more panicked one. “But I need your help. I have no idea what to do!”

“For the date?”

“Yeah!” Shutting your locker, you swung your jacket over your shoulder and headed for the school doors. Peter bounded after you. “Please, (Y/N)!” he pleaded.

You shoved the doors open, “Why aren’t you asking Liz, though? Isn’t the date with her?” You worried that that might’ve been a bit forward in revealing your subtle bitterness.

“Well, yeah but I—I wanted to surprise her. And I can’t ask Ned ‘cause I don’t wanna mess this up, I mean no offense to him, but you know—(Y/N), you’re my only other friend who can help me!” Your stomach twisted at that word. Friend.

“When is it?”

“Friday.”

You sighed, conflicted yet sympathetic. Here he was, the best friend you had slowly but undoubtedly fallen for, asking for your help with someone else. Of course you were jealous. Of course you were dejected and feeling a bit betrayed. But of course you were going to help him. Because, dammit, you were proud and happy for him, too.

After two years of daydreaming, confiding, and awkwardly trying, he had finally gotten courage and motivation to do something about it. You saw how he lit up when she merely looked his way, how he melted whenever she said something nice to him, how jittery and nervous he got whenever he was within a ten food radius of her. You weren’t about to take that away from him just because of your unrequited feelings; because before he was ever your crush, he was your best friend.

“Okay,” you replied. Hope and relief immediately washed out all desperation on Peter’s face. You couldn’t help but smile a bittersweet smile.

“Really?!” he grinned.

“Yeah, yeah, of course!” you cheerfully affirmed. “Just, uh, come over later tonight so we can think of some ideas.”

“Thank you! Really, (Y/N), thank you so much!” Peter squeezed you in a tight hug that you half heartedly returned. He suddenly pulled away and reached for his phone. You already knew what it most likely meant, so you started past him.

“I’ll see you around seven?” you called back. Peter was already running the opposite direction.

“Uh yeah! Seven’s good!”

Groaning, you got up from your chair and stretched your arms above your head. How could simple chemistry equations somehow make your entire body ache?

You were about to plop back into your chair when a tapping came from your window. Glancing at the clock that read ten minutes past eight, you trudged over, unlocked it, and slid it up.

“Sorry I’m late; some nut job decided tonight was a good night to rob a jewelry shop.”

“Hm,” you nodded as you headed to your desk. Peter stumbled through the window, leaving it open for a quick getaway.

“Your folks home?”

“Nah,” you shrugged. “Both have meetings.”

Peter slipped his backpack off and slumped onto your bed. “So,” he rested his elbows on his knees, “Any ideas?”

You swiveled your chair around. “Not really,” you confessed. “Nothing’s really come to mind.”

Peter hung his head down, groaning, “What am I gonna do?”

“So… okay then. What do you want to do?” you inquired.

“I dunno! I was thinking maybe just dinner and a movie? Chill, not to much fancy expensive stuff…”

“No, no don’t do that. That’s typical, not surprising at all.”

“Ugh,” he muttered. “Has she ever said anything about like what her ideal date would be?”

“Don’t think so…” you racked your brain. You didn’t know Liz too well. Sure you’d shared some classes with her these past two years and had gotten to know her well enough. But you weren’t the best friend she’d confide to about relationships and dating. You also weren’t going to give up your ideal date for Peter to create for someone else.

You both sat in silence, thinking. There was a slight tension in the room that you both could sense, but it was hardly enough to make the setting awkward. You’d also never let it get to that point either.

“I know she likes picnics…” you offered. “Maybe you could get takeout from her favorite place and take her on a picnic somewhere?”

“Oh yeah…” Peter sat up. “That sounds cool!”

“And it’s not super expensive.”

“But do it kind of late-ish,” you added. “And maybe on the roof of a high building. So it’ll be darker and better for star gazing. Liz loves stars.”

“Yeah… yeah, yeah! That’s great; that’s awesome! Oh, okay okay! I got it,” Peter leapt up from your bed and raced over to embrace you once again. “Thank you, so much, (Y/N)! Thanks for being such a great friend and—and helping me and WOOH!” he whooped as he skipped to grab his bag. “I’m gonna go scope out some places…”

As he squeezed through the window you chuckled, “Okay…” That nagging feeling began to creep up on you, and you put your head in your hands. You knew the petty thoughts would begin to fill your mind soon.

You knew you shouldn’t feel jealous. You knew there was nothing you could do to change his mind. But you couldn’t stop it. You were mad at yourself for believing you could ever compete with a girl like Liz Allen. You hated having these feelings of envy and betrayal, because you knew they were futile. It was pointless; this was only going to make you feel even worse.

Okay, you told yourself. Calm down, stop thinking like that. Just be happy that he finally got his chance with Liz. Repeating this over and over didn’t help. Okay… Maybe the date will go bad— NO! No, God, why even think like that?! Okay, maybe the date will be okay but Peter will figure out he doesn’t really like her? Ugh why am I LIKE this?! You felt completely horrible when you realized you actually found solace in that last thought. Deciding you needed to just distract yourself before you could torment yourself any further, you turned back to your notebook with a sigh.

Four weeks and five dates later, wherever you saw Peter, there was Liz. Your one solace, your one hope had fallen through. Peter had begun to hang with you and Ned less and less as the weeks went by. His spontaneous midnight visits had stopped altogether, and sometimes wouldn’t even answer your texts for a good few days.

Distractions were helping less and less as well. No matter how many songs you blasted in your ear, or how many fanfics you poured over each night, or late night calls with Ned about any movie you two could find; the envy kept gnawing away at you. But poor sweet Ned. You finally broke and confided to him; keeping it in was just too much. And try as he might to help you try to get over it and keep you distracted and happy, you both knew nothing was enough.

It also didn’t help that Liz would often come to Peter when he was at his locker. Right next to yours. Even though they tried to keep their voices down to small murmurs, you could hear every sickening and sappy word pouring from their mouths.

“God, I think I love you.”

You froze, gripping the textbook as if it were your composure. That phrase had managed to slip through all the ambient noise and ruckus echoing through the hallway and reach your ears. How many times had you wished to hear those words from him, only for them to be meant for someone else?

Well you certainly didn’t hear much after that. You didn’t hear Liz’s reply, or Ned’s greeting, or your locker slam. The only thing that your ears registered was your booming heartbeat. You felt your whole body heat up, searing with anger and jealousy. You wandered away from your locker, away from them. Meandering through the crowd of students, you couldn’t think of where to go or what to do.

An obnoxious voice broke through the pulsing in your ear.

“Hurry up, move it, (Y/N)!” Flash complained as he breezed past you. “What’re you waiting for? Your imaginary boyfriend to become real?” he jeered.

A sudden drive and confidence took over you, fueled by the anger and jealousy coursing through your veins. You knew what you wanted. You wanted to make Peter hurt. Hurt like you were. And you knew just how to do it.

“Well that’s up to you, Flash!” you called. Flash whipped around, confused. It morphed into amused as you jogged over to him.

“What do you mean?” he crossed his arms.

“Pick me up, my place, Friday at seven,” you challenged. Flash’s face dropped into bewilderment. “Wear something nice,” you added, brushing past. “I expect to be wowed.” As you pushed open the school doors, smirking, you could perfectly hear the shock that rippled through the silence of the hallway. This was certainly one way to get over it.

*tap tap tap*

You startled up from your chair, not sure if you had really heard it. You went over to your window and opened the blinds revealing the red and blue figure. Sliding it open, you leaned out on your elbows, blocking him from coming in but opening yourself to conversation.

“Hey,” Peter breathed.

“Hey.”

He shuffled anxiously, tugging at the mask in his hands, “Can I talk to you?”

You shrugged, “I’m listening.”

“Why—” Peter took a deep breath. “Why’d you ask out Flash?” he timidly asked.

You stiffened. “Because.” Guilt started to take the place of resentment in your gut, but you shoved it away. You could tell he was concerned about you doing something so out of character and ridiculous on all accounts. However you refused to sway from your choice. You weren’t going to to back to sitting around moping about how he was with Liz.

“Because why?” he demanded.

“Because I can and I did.”

“But when were you interested in Flash?”

“When was it your business?”

“Since you’re my friend!”

You scoffed, hurt. “Am I?”

Peter squinted at you, “Y-Yeah. Wh—Why do you have to ask?”

“‘Cause it doesn’t feel like I’ve been!” you cried. The rest of your anger was spilling out, but with a different tone this time. This wasn’t a revenge thing or a spur of the moment vent-all-your-feelings session. This was everything that was buried deep, everything that wasn’t revealed to Ned, everything that really hurt.

“You’ve constantly ditched on stuff ‘cause you’d rather go to something else with Liz! You’ve left me and Ned hanging countless times. If it was because of Spiderman stuff, then I’d be more understanding, but it isn’t. You’ve just replaced your true friends with the girl you’ve been oogling for years!” your voice rose several octaves. “You never reply when we text, and you never answer when I need you or even when Ned does! So no, Peter, it doesn’t feel like I’m your friend anymore.”

Neither of you moved, too stunned by the words floating in the thick tension between you.

“So this is a jealousy thing.”

“What?!” you screeched. “That literally has nothing to do with what I just said—”

“No! No no no, it does!” Peter retorted. “You’re jealous because I’m spending more time with her, I get it—”

“No. You don’t.”

“No, I do! Look, I’m sorry if I’m not spending every waking moment with you guys like I used to, but it doesn’t mean we’re not friends anymore.”

“NO!” you cried. “No, Peter! It’s not because we’re not hanging out as much, it’s because we’re not hanging out at all. You’re always so distant with us now and you ignore us and—”

“I don’t ignore you guys!”

“Uh, yeah you do—”

“If I did, then I wouldn’t know that you asked Flash out, and I wouldn’t be here asking why the hell you’d ever do that!”

“Again, what the hell does it matter to you?!”

“He’s a douche!” Peter flailed his arms. “He’s an arrogant, spoiled asshole who’s so insecure that he goes around teasing people. He even teases you, (Y/N)! And you asked him out?!” He howled. Peter took a step towards your window, and you withdrew a little. “He doesn’t deserve you, (Y/N), and you don’t deserve to put up with that piece of shit—”

“You know what?” you glared at Peter, seething, blood boiling for the second time that day. “Yeah, you’re right: he’s a piece of shit who only cares about himself. But I bet he’s still gonna be a better shitty friend than you’ve been this entire month.”

Peter took a step back, appalled at what he was hearing. He pursed his lips and dropped his eyes to the ground. “Maybe we just shouldn’t be friends anymore,” he whispered.

You reached up for your window and numbly slid it shut. Knowing he could still hear you, you muttered as you closed your blinds, “I thought we already weren’t.”

A/N: For the anon who requested movie session with Jimin, I put it here ^^

Days of the week l Monday - Jin l Tuesday - Yoongi l Wednesday: Hoseok l Thursday - Namjoon l Friday - Jimin l Saturday - Taehyung l Sunday - Jungkook l

  *Hey, Y/N. I would like to watch a movie with you. Do you wanna it? Huh… You will come anyway, right? But… Well, yeah. Movie. Huh…  Can you come at 8 p.m.? Can you?  ~Jimin~*

 Well, shit. That week was being tiringly as fuck. You had fucked every day. You had been fucked every day. Your body was completely wrecked. You had three days left. And three boys. Now he sent you that text. Just to have you more anxious than what you already were.  More expectative growing up. Fuck.

  You spent all your day sleeping, skipping one more day of class. My grades are gonna get lower than hell. But it was worth it. You could run to reclaim it later. But watch a movie? He didn’t want to have sex? I mean, not that you wouldn’t love to spend time watching a movie with Park Jimin, but… sex is sex. Or was he planning something else?

When the moment finally came, you did all those stuff again. Got dressed, make up, went to the hotel and got into the penthouse. You were still shy, of course, but were kinda used to them. And so did they.

  “Come in, Jagi” Jimin greeted you as he opened the door. His hair was falling on his forehead, his lips were pinkly inviting and you were going crazy just with the sight of him.

  You got in and looked around. Empty. Nobody. Were where the others?

“They are… out. Huh… food. We are alone” he murmured, his broken English making him even cuter.

“Oh, I see” you said. You both stayed there for a sec, staring each other.

“Well, huh. Let’s watch a movie?” he asked, his eyes shining.

“Sure. What are we watching?” you asked and he gave you three options of movie. ‘A walk to remember’, ‘13th Friday’ and ‘fifty shades darker’. He signaled you to choose, and you thought about the options. Maybe with fifty shades he would get horny. Or not.

 You did choose “a walk to remember” and he looked at you with surprise and smiled.

“Good.” He said and put the movie.

 You both sat on the couch and he pulled you to get closer, cuddling. You snuggled in his arms, he kissed your head and the movie started.

 A few minutes later you weren’t paying attention on the movie anymore, your mind was traveling among the things you wanted him to do. You wondered when he was going to kiss you, to hug you closer, to… everything. You felt your inside getting warm by the thoughts of him doing all those stuff to you, but didn’t move.

When the movie was in its half, you felt Jimin’s body getting restlessness. What? He started to hold you tightly, rubbing your arm softly, squeezing your thigh and stuff. Your body was shivering under his ghost-touch.

   “Are you ok, Jimin?” you asked innocently. He looked down at you, your head resting on his shoulder.

 “Honestly, I am bored” he said simply. He kept staring at you and your cheeks got red. You looked back and he did hold your face with one of his hands. “Don’t you wanna do something more… interesting?” he said, brushing his lips against yours slightly.

 “I-I, I think I do” you answered and he kissed you immediately. You closed your eyes, moving your lips against his as you both tried to find a pace. His kiss was the sweetest till that moment, the most passionate, less aggressive. And you loved it. His tongue caressed yours carefully, as if he was afraid to hurt you or something. You hugged him by his neck, getting up so straddle his legs. You were now sat on his lap, both your sensitive parts touching each other. His hands traveled down from your head to your butt, caressing your back all the way down, sending you shiver. He started kissing your neck while his hands were holding your ass, massaging at it as his lips worked on your soft skin of your neck. Even his sucking was soft.

  The kiss was getting hard to control because you both were still on the couch, but you didn’t care. You started to take off his shirt, but he stopped you and pulled away from your neck.

 “What? Did I do something wrong?” you asked worried. Why did he stop you and pulled away?

 “No, it’s just… you have heard the rumors, right? That I am worried about my… weight.  I prefer not to take off my shirt.” He said, not looking at you.

That wrecked you. How could he think that he was anything less than perfect? And how could some people talk so much shit to make him think he is not perfect?

 “Oh my God, you kidding me Chim Chim? You are wonderful. Your body is perfect. You are hot” you said, kissing his lips, “beautiful” you said traveling down to his neck and sucking at it, “and kind and cute” you said, taking off his shirt slowly. “Don’t you dare to let anyone talk shit. You are perfect” you kissed him, but this time in the most passionate way you could.

  You took off his shirt, stopping everything for a sec to take a look at his body.

 “See? You are wonderful” you said and before you could so or say something, he moved and now you were laid on the couch with him between your legs.

 “I want to see your wonder” he said and kissed your neck, pulling your shirt up and taking it off. He wasted no time in taking off your bra, exposing your boobs. His eyes widened at the view of your bare chest and started sucking your nipple, your hands pulling his hair.

 “Jimin…” you whimpered.

 “Yes, Jagi?” he whispered against your boobs

 “Take off my clothes already” you said. You felt his smile as he traveled down. His hands, slowly, started to pull down your skirt and underwear, his eyes not leaving yours and you blushed under his intense gaze, but you didn’t look way. . You were now totally exposed. He immediately put his mouth on your pussy, watering it, sucking at your clit. But he didn’t keep sucking you; instead, he kissed you, making you taste yourself. His fingers were playing with your entrance, teasing you. You needed to feel him. You palmed him through his pants in answer, and he groaned.

He pulled away, but only long enough to take off his clothes, showing you his gorgeous dick. Shit. He pulled himself over you. Without warning he pushed two fingers inside you, curling them inside, making you let out several groans and moans, your head falling back. He took off his fingers and placed his tip on your entrance, pushing in. You thought he would let you adjust, but he didn’t, thrusting in and out roughly. Shit, how did he change from cute to rough so fast?

You would never get enough of how amazing he looked when pleasure overrode his face. Then, he stopped moving. You whimpered.

 “Don’t worry. Ride me” he said, laying back and spreading his legs. Shit, he looked so confident now and that was sexy as fuck. You went over him, lowering yourself onto his hardened dick. His hands landed on your hips, holding you tightly as you started to fasten your movements. You were moving up and down roughly, your skin hitting against his, and you couldn’t hold yourself back any longer. You started moaning, and remembered of his promise of the day before:  “I hope you still have some voice available Y/N, because I’ll have you screaming for me even louder tomorrow”. OH.

  His hands found your breasts, squeezing it hotly, sending a lot of pleasure down to your pussy. You were about to reach your edge when he stopped you from moving.

 “I want to fuck you from behind” he said. He didn’t have to say anything else. You got on all fours, exposing your butt for him and he wasted no time to push in. His pace was already rough and fast, making you scream his name while he was leaning in to lick your earlobe while thrusting. He thrusted deeper into you, and before you knew, you were cumming around him. A few thrusts later he came right after you, let himself go inside you, the sensation making you close your eyes in pleasure.

  He pulled out of you and stood up.

 “You want something? Water…” he said, Shy-Jimin appearing again. You just nodded, shy as well. You stayed there, sat, and suddenly, the front door opened. Before you could hide, Taehyung and Jungkook appeared, and you covered yourself as best as you could.

  “Oh look. Are you already ready for me?” Taehyung said, walking towards you and your naked body.

“We’re going to a party.” he said taking your hand and guiding you downstairs. “No questions for now.”

He took you down the hall through a long corridor, lined with many doors when you two stopped by one of them. He turned the handle and went inside, you followed after him. It was a spacious room, similar to the one you have been staying at for the last month and you realized it’s probably his.

“Here.” he said handing you a white box wrapped with a blue ribbon.

“What’s this?”

“Open it.”

You carefully untangled the ribbon and lifted the cover.

“Is this?” you asked taking a midnight blue colored dress out. It had pretty flower laces on it.

“Do you like it?” he looked at you hopefully.

“It’s beautiful but… But I can’t take it.”

“You have to. I need you to get ready.”

“Why?”

“You still ask me why? You’re my wife, of course I’m taking you.” he said. “But no more questions for now, I will explain everything to you when we get there.”

You took the dress and looked around. He seemed to notice your confusion.

“You can change here.” he said. “You have got nothing to hide, I had already seen you half naked.”

Your eyes widened at his statement, you could feel your cheeks flushing.

“I’m just teasing you.” he laughed. “You can use the bathroom.” he said pointing to the door behind him. “Or do you need any help with that?” he winked.

“No thank you.” you said, quickly rushing past him and closing the door as soon as you were in. You sighed. It looks like his flirting will never stop. The bathroom was large and you had a lot of space and everything needed to get ready. You decided to start with your makeup. It seemed ages since you had anything on because why bother, you didn’t need anything staying in the same place for so long. You let your hair down and slipped the dress on. To your surprise it fitted perfectly, it ended just a little bit above your knees. How did he know your size? An image of him measuring you in your sleep crossed your mind but you quickly brushed it off. What the hell are you thinking? You put the high heels on and went to the door but found yourself reluctant to go out.

“Come on, I don’t bite.” you heard Jongdae laugh. You finally stepped out and saw him staring at you, his mouth agape. You spun around.

“Like what you see?” it was your time to tease him.

“Do I?” he smirked but you couldn’t deny that he looked just as stunning. He wore suits all the time but somehow this one looked extremely good on him, one of the reasons being that you two matched. You eyed him from the bottom up when you noticed him struggling with his tie.

“Let me.” you said approaching him.

“It’s funny isn’t it? I have been wearing suits for so long but somehow never get this part right, that’s why I prefer to have none on at all.”

“No worries.” you said fixing it for him. “Now you have me to do it for you.” you said and then realized what you just blurted out. Still holding onto his tie, you looked up, your cheeks burning. You met his gaze and couldn’t help but give him a smile which he returned.

“All done.” you said letting go of him. You two stood there not saying anything just looking at each other.

“You know I-” he was the first to speak when a knock on the door interrupted him.

“Boss? Are you ready? The car is here.” a man spoke from the door.

“Yes, thank you, we will be right out.” he told him and turned to you, before you had the chance to ask him what he wanted to say, linking your arm with his. “Let’s go.”

He took you to the main hall where two other men were waiting. They also had fancy suits on and you could tell just by their appearance that they weren’t simple henchmen. The younger looking one of the two approached you. He took your hand and gently pecked it.

“Nice to finally meet you.” you were so surprised by his action that the only thing that snapped you out of it was Jongdae’s low voice.

“Sehun.” you looked at him and saw that he was staring daggers at him. You haven’t seen him this angry since the first day you got here. You’re happy that at least now you’re not the one receiving that death stare.

“Whoa whoa, no need to get so jealous, I was just greeting her.

“I swear, if you ever do something like this-“

“Nice to meet you, I’m Suho.” the other man shaked your hand, stopping the two before they did something.

You only managed to utter a quiet hello when Jongdae took you outside.

“Those two will also attend the party, so if anything happens and I’m not around, you should go to them.” he said opening the car’s door for you and getting into to driver’s seat himself. He turned around to check if the others got to their cars and started the engine. You haven’t been outside for so long that going for a ride now felt really strange and it wasn’t before long that you reached your destination. You were expecting something fancy but definitely not this. The party was literally being held at a mansion and you were in awe by all the luxury. Jongdae helped you out and guided you to the entrance greeting everyone politely as they passed by.

“Now listen to me very carefully.” he told you, handing the invitation to the porter who opened the door to you two. There were already hundreds of people inside but he took you to one of the corners near the bar.

“I need you to do me a little task.” he said. “I have some business to take care of in here and I need you to distract a certain someone for me.”

“What? No I can’t.”

“You can do it.” he said squeezing your hands. “And after that we can enjoy the party.” he was about to go when you stopped him.

“And you’re leaving just like that?” you asked him. “How do I even know how to find him?”

“No need to worry about that.” he said glancing at the balcony. “He already noticed you.”

You looked up and saw a man staring at you from above. He raised his glass and smiled before turning around.

“Take care of this.” Jongdae said putting a silver necklace around your neck. “It will help me find you, in case you run into any trouble.” he smiled and kissed your forehead. “See you later.”

You watched his figure disappear in the large crowd of people. You looked at the little pendant, the nice shade of blue somehow calmed you down. You decided to go get a drink.

“This one is on me.” somebody said behind you. You turned around and saw the man from the balcony. He had sweet orange colored hair and his eyes were deep and it felt like he was staring into your soul.

“Thank you.” you stuttered. You didn’t want to look so nervous but you couldn’t help it.

“So I see you’re familiar with Chen.”

“Chen?” you wondered but then quickly realized he’s probably talking about Jongdae, you had no idea he had other identities or rather names. You thought for a second if you should tell him the truth or lie and decided to go with the latter if it means stalling him longer.

“Not really, no.” you sipped your drink. “He just offered to buy me a drink but I didn’t feel like going with him.” you lied.

“I see…” he cooed. “So I should probably feel honoured, as you accepted mine.” he smirked.

“I guess you should.” you chuckled.

“I’m Jimin by the way.” he finally introduced himself. “Another?” he asked pointing at your empty glass.”

You two were talking about nothing in particular and maybe it was his charming looks but you didn’t notice how fast time went by until you looked at the clock. Two hours had already passed, where is Jongdae?

“May I?” Jimin said taking your hand and guiding you to the dance floor. He put his hand on your waist and started spinning along to the slow music. You looked to your side and noticed Suho watching you closely, if Jongdae finds out about this, you’re sure he will not be pleased.

“I think you’re not being completely honest with me.” Jimin whispered into your ear. “What other secrets do you have?”

“If you’re willing to take me somewhere more private, I might tell you.” you said, deciding that it would be better if Suho didn’t see your interactions with him. He took you upstairs to the roof. A lovely view of the city could be seen from above. Jimin stood near you.

“This better be worth it.” he laughed. “I missed a very important meeting because of you.” you looked at him, trying to come up with some kind of story but you were obviously taking too long.

“I caught you red handed, didn’t I?” he asked cornering you between the massive windows and his body. “It’s not very nice to lie to people you just met.” he said leaning closer. “Now what can you do to fix your mistake?” he questioned, his face so close you could feel his breath on your skin. He stared into your eyes and you could see he was planning something.

“That’s my wife you’re talking to!” Jongdae shouted kicking the door open. “So you better keep your hands to yourself!”

You were both surprised by his sudden entrance.

“So that’s what it was.” Jimin cooed. “How scary.” he scoffed still not letting you go.

Jongdae took his gun out and pointed it at him.

“Get your hands off her. Don’t make me repeat it.”

“Do you really want to start a fight here?” he asked as his men began appearing from the shadows. “This could turn into a war we tried to avoid for so long.”

“Should I feel intimidated right now?” Jongdae laughed as he removed the safety lock from his gun and his men also gathered on the roof. It was a silent stare down as they waited for someone to take the first step.

“I don’t think this is the right place.” Jimin finally said, releasing you. “Till next time, darling.” he said kissing your hand. Jongdae’s men parted to let him through.

“Don’t think I will let this slide.” Jimin said as he passed by him to which he just clenched his teeth. He lowered his gun and came up to you.

“I thought I told you to distract not to seduce him.” he spoke, clearly annoyed.

“I’m… I’m sorry.” you muttered. He just sighed and embraced you.

“You went ahead and got yourself in trouble. Now I will have to keep an even closer eye on you.” he laughed, his playful attitude coming back. “BTS is not the one to be messed with but that’s my Jagi.” he said a wide smile spreading on his face. He turned to his men.

“We are leaving.” he ordered. “This party sucks anyway. I will show you something better.”

A/N: I like to imagine Jongdae as being the protective type. It’s cute 😁

Neglected | Jughead Jones

Hi people!

So here it is my first Riverdale imagine ever 💕

I promise I’m not ignoring your requests but I’m slowly going through all of them and will be posting them as soon as I can, so bear with me.

Anon request: can you please write a jughead imagine where the reader is new in riverdale and they meet and then they start dating but the reader gets insecure because he spends a lot of time with betty and betty acts all bitchy and jealous because her and jughead liked each other before she moved and they fight because of that????

Now, it was very hard for me to portray Betty as “bitchy” because she’s a precious cinnamon roll, but I tried my best. So I hope you like it. 💕

Warnings: jealous Betty (I apologize to all Bughead shippers), insecure reader.

“I think that’s the last box kiddo, thanks for helping out.” Y/N’s dad said taking the empty box to put it with the rest to dispose of them later. “Why don’t you go to explore for a bit while I finish arranging everything?”

“Is it okay if I go take a walk? I want to see what’s around here.”

“Sure, just be very careful and take your phone with you.” Y/N nodded and took her jacket before walking out the door.

Y/N had just moved with her dad to Riverdale after her parents disastrous divorce. It was an excruciating process full of never ending battles between them. Always fighting for the most stupid things just so they could bother the other and Y/N was tired of it.

So after being part of the collateral damage from the war between her parents, she decided she needed a change of air.

Once the divorce process was completed, months after their first fight with their lawyers, her dad told her he was moving away to his hometown to look for a bit of calm. She didn’t hesitate when she asked him to take her with him. She just wanted to get away from the house she was living in, to take a break of everything that happened.

Her mom put a bit of a fight in that, but she was old enough to decide with who she wanted to live with, so eventually she let her go.

She was aware that it may not be the most exciting thing to spend your high school years in a very small town. And school year had already started, so she would have a bit of trouble fitting in and catching up with every subject. But in all honesty, surviving high school would be more than enough at this point.

She continued to walk along the almost empty streets of Riverdale. The chilly air was doing wonders to calm her mind so she just trusted her feet to take her wherever they wanted.

After a few minutes walking, she noticed some cars parked from a distance. A big screen in front of them, projecting the iconic James Dean in “Rebel without a cause”.

Curiosity kicked in taking her steps towards that place, eventually noticing it was a drive-in. According to the sign in the entrance, it was the last night it would be open. It was a shame she just got there that day.

She now understood why the streets were almost devoid of people.

The place was packed with cars. People were gathering up in front of a small stand in order to buy some snacks and popcorn.

After some debating with herself, she decide to sit on the ground by the snacks stand. She had a decent view of the screen and she didn’t feel that lonely. She might be going against the rules of the drive-in, since she didn’t brought a car, but she wanted to stay and watch the movie to enjoy the last night of the drive-in like the rest of Riverdale.

-

30 good minutes passed before it started to get colder. She buried face in the front of her jacket rubbing her arms at the same time, trying to create some friction to keep her warm. As much as she tried though, after a bit, it became too cold to bear.

She looked around, seeking for a place to stay to watch the rest of the movie where she would be shielded from the cold. She actually thought of going to someone and ask them if she could stay in their car with them, but that would be way too weird and creepy.

All of sudden, her eyes caught a sight of the small booth where the movie was being projected, her feet already approaching it.

Without a second thought, she entered the booth before anyone caught her. The warmth immediately enveloped her, her lips breaking into a content smile. She closed the door behind her rubbing her hands together to get rid of the cold burning her skin.

“What are you doing here?” an accusing voice made her jump. She turned around placing her eyes on the raven haired boy sitting in front of her, scrutinizing her with his eyes.

“I-I’m really sorry.” she apologized with her cheeks burning in embarrassment. “I thought no one was here.” he raised his brows waiting for an explanation that she hadn’t given him yet. “I didn’t mean to intrude or anything, but I was freezing out there.” he frowned, increasing the embarrassment she was feeling.

“What about your car?” he asked still suspicious. “It’s a drive-in, you know?”

“I know but I came here by myself… walking, I mean.” his gaze was making her uncomfortable as he studied her face with curiousness, almost reading her like an open book. She fidgeted in her place awkwardly trying to hide herself from his prying stare.“I’m really sorry, I’ll just go.”

“No” he said stopping her as she was already turning around with her hand reaching for the door. “It’s fine.”

He sighed and pointed to the spot next to him with his head. She thought about it for a moment before she hesitantly took slow steps towards him. He sensed her doubt and offered her a half smile, patting the seat next to him inviting her to sit.

“So are you enjoying the movie?” he asked while adjusting the beanie covering his head.

“Well…I’m more of a Tarantino type of girl but I can appreciate a good 50’s James Dean movie.” she replied shrugging carelessly.

“So you’re into unconventional structure and racial epithets. All up for controversy, I see.” he commented wit a teasing smile earning an amused chuckle from her. “I’m Jughead.”

What a curious name she thought.

“Y/N”

“You’re new here.” he wasn’t asking, he was telling her he knew she was new in town. It wasn’t a surprise though. In such a small town, new people stood out like a sore thumb.

“I am, just got here today.” she confirmed hugging her knees.

“Why now? School year already started.” he said confused. It was weird for someone to move to Riverdale, let alone when everyone had already resumed their activities after the summer.

“Yeah, but my parents’ divorce trial just ended so…you know.” she trailed off not wanting to get into a deep conversation about her broken family.

“That sucks.” he simply replied focusing his eyes on the movie once again.

“I’d like it better this way, though.”she admitted. “They’re not at each other’s throat all the time anymore so it’s cool.”

She took the chance to look around the place, noticing that apart from the films that were piled in a corner, there were also clothes and bags next to what looked like an improvised bed. There were also a couple of pictures on the walls and some canned food resting on the ground. All in all, it looked way too personal for just a working place. It was more of a dorm where a college student spent their days when he wasn’t in class. “You work here?” she asked, curiosity taking the best of her.

“I won’t anymore after tonight.” he replied, his expression turning sour. “People don’t care about this place, even if it represents a historical and monumental part of this town, they don’t seem to mind its closing.”

“I’m sorry, it’s really a shame I got here the last day of its existence. It seems like this place means a lot to you.”

“Yeah, this place is almost like home.” he said with sarcasm dripping from every word.

It was then when she understood that he definitely lived in that little booth. She ignored the reasons why he had to do such thing, but she knew that they were going to take his home away from him.

She didn’t want to say anything further so she wouldn’t get to any touching subject.

They both kept quiet for the rest of the movie, sometimes interrupting to make a comment on a specific scene.

There was not an awkward tension between them and weird enough, Jughead didn’t feel the need to shut Y/N out as he would with any other stranger. Sure he was now friends with Kevin and Veronica, but that was mostly because of Betty, cause if it wasn’t for her, he would probably have never even spoken to them.

Soon enough, the credits were rolling on the screen. People put away their blankets and threw away their left over popcorn before starting their cars to leave.

Y/N stood up from her seat, once she saw the cars lining up in the exit, the place slowly emptying. She zipped up her jacket and placed her hands on her pockets before offering Jughead a smile.

“Thank you for letting me stay.” she said making him smirk.

“My pleasure.” he replied standing up too.

“I’ll see you around, yeah?” Y/N asked before stepping outside.

“I bet you will.” Jughead said with his smirk not wavering. She silently chuckled while closing the door behind her, walking home with a smile on her face.

~~~*~~~
Y/N exited her classroom once the bell rang indicating lunch time. She joined the group of students eager to reach the cafeteria so they wouldn’t have to wait in line to get their lunch. Most of them just anxious to gossip with their group of friends.
Y/N was distractedly looking at her feet, careful to not trip with someone else’s feet when a hand reached for hers, interlacing their fingers together. She raised her head, her gaze meeting a pair of green eyes paired up with a mischievous smile. She leaned into Jughead’s shoulder, as he placed a kiss on the back of her hand.
After that night in the drive-in, it didn’t take long for them to meet again. They shared one of their classes and as soon as she entered the classroom, Y/N recognized that grey beanie. She immediately made a beeline to the seat next to Jughead, him greeting her with a small smile.
She was more than grateful that she finally had someone to ease her embarrassment caused by the constant blatant stares of her classmates.
Throughout the days, they spent plenty of time together, becoming closer and closer. It wasn’t a surprise when they started dating, pretty much everyone saw that coming.
“So apparently the most talked about thing here, it’s still Cheryl Blossom’s continuous breakdowns.” he greeted her with a random comment, just like he did everyday.
“Well, she keeps publicly addressing her brother so it’s not much of a surprise.” she admitted. “I don’t blame her though.”
“I have no comments on the matter.” Jughead said, clearly saving some strong opinions about the situation. Y/N just shook her head while laughing.
“Hey, are you up for a movie tonight?” she asked changing to a lighter subject.
“Sorry, I can’t. I already have plans.” He lowered her head, almost shying away from her eyes. He  looked almost ashamed as he tightened the grip on her hand.
“Oh, it’s okay. We can hang out other day.” she tried hard to keep the disappointment out of her voice, and as curious as she was, she decided not to ask him about his plans.
“Hey guys!” Archie greeted them once they met them at one of the tables. Y/N said hi to everyone and took her usual seat next to Veronica.
Veronica had moved to Riverdale a couple of weeks before Y/N, so she knew what it was like to be the new girl in town. Veronica took her under her wing right away, becoming great friends in no time.
“Hey, are you up for some pampering after school?” she questioned. “I’m in desperate need of a mani-pedi and a face mask.”
“Sure!” Y/N replied, playing with an apple. “I was planning on hanging out with Jughead but he’s busy, so I’m down.” Veronica clapped her hands excited as Y/N turned around to face the blonde girl in front of them.
“Do you wan to come with us Betty?” She asked, offering her a kind smile.
Although Jughead was the first person she met in Riverdale, it was actually Veronica who introduced her to the rest of her friends. They were very nice, easily getting along with her and including her in their little group dynamics. They were all very welcoming, except for one person: Betty.
She wasn’t rude or insulting, but she wasn’t necessarily thrilled whenever Y/N was around. She avoided Y/N like the plague, being cold and cutting every time she spoke to her.
Despite Betty’s obvious dislike of her, Y/N kept trying to approach her and made sure she knew she was always included in her plans with Veronica, but she was never interested.
That was the main reason why Jughead was a bit hesitant to spend time with Betty when they first started dating. Y/N took notice of this and instantly reassured him that no matter what, she understood how important Betty was to him and actually, encouraged him to hang out with her.
But no matter what she did, it was never enough to get Betty to stop acting the way she did.
“I’m busy today.” She curtly replied. “Jughead and I are going to work on an article for The Blue and Gold.” Betty took a look at Y/N’s face while raising her brow.
Jughead cringed on his place, trying to shield himself from everybody’s looks that were now focused on him. Y/N could tell that everyone tensed at Betty’s statement, but she didn’t understand why. Of course she was confused on why would Jughead would hide that from her, when he usually told her whenever he was going to hang out with Betty, but it wasn’t anything worthy of that reaction. They were childhood friends after all. There was nothing wrong with them wanting to hang out for a day.
“Cool, I’m looking forward to read whatever you guys come up with.” Y/N said with a smile on her face, causing Archie, Veronica and Kevin to look at her with wide eyes.
The atmosphere on the table became awkward after that, and no one seemed to know how to break the silence. The only sound filling their ears, being the chatter from the tables around them.
There was something more complicated regarding Betty and Jughead, and concern was already planting itself on Y/N’s mind.
-
“So what do you think, peel off or clay mask?” Veronica asked Y/N showing her two containers of face masks. Y/N sighed and dropped her head.
“Ronnie can I ask you a question?” she said, randomly changing the subject, causing a frown to appear on her friend’s face.
“Sure, what’s up?” she replied as she placed both products on the table.
“Why was everyone so tense when Betty said she would be hanging out wth Jughead?” As if on cue, Veronica’s back straightened, her whole body rigid with tension. She rubbed her forehead with her fingers and sighed while a serious expression took over her face.
“You really don’t know anything about Jughead and Betty’s history, do you?”
“They are childhood friends and they are really close…what about it?” Y/N inquired, still confused on why was that such a big deal to everyone else.
“That’s not what I meant.” Veronica said shaking her head. She shifted in her place, bracing herself for what she was about to tell her. “So you already know how Archie broke Betty’s heart, right?” Y/n nodded. “After that happened, Jughead came into the picture. He started to get really close with Betty always being there for her. Apparently they had a thing for each other… until you came.”
“Wha-what?” Saying that she felt overwhelmed was an understatement. She nearly felt dizzy at the news.
“That’s why Betty doesn’t like you. You basically stole Jughead away from her, even though you weren’t aware of that.” she flinched as she recalled her first week in Riverdale. “I mean two heartbreaks in a row, is not something easy to deal with.”
“Oh God.” Y/N shut her eyes, desperately trying to get a grip of her emotions.
“That’s also why we all looked at you like you were crazy when you were so cool about it. It wasn’t normal for you to react that way when Betty pretty much rubbed on your face that she was going to be alone with Jughead.” she frowned. “It’s very weird because Betty is one of the nicest girls I know, so it’s interesting to watch her being so defensive.”
She felt the wind being knocked out of her and her chest felt heavy with uncertainty. She had been so oblivious to the relationship between Betty and Jughead had before she came. It all made so much sense now.
Now that everything was on the table, she couldn’t help but to feel a bit insecure. She trusted Jughead, but it was such a messed up situation there was no telling how it could end. Besides, she didn’t understand why Jughead had been keeping something that important from her.
“But don’t overthink Y/N, he’s wrapped around your finger. You have nothing to worry about.” she comforted her rubbing her knee, before going back to the face masks.
-
Little by little, insecurity spread through Y/N’s system taking over her rational thoughts and drowning her in an ocean of self destruction. The realization that if it wasn’t for her, Jughead and Betty would most likely be together, hit her like a truck.
Her confidence had received a major blow and she didn’t know how to handle it. How can you compete with the perfect green eyed beauty that is your boyfriend’s childhood friend? It’s even worse when you get the news that at some point, they were romantically interested in each other.
Y/N was doing exactly what Veronica told her not to do. She was over thinking everything that revolved around Betty and Jughead.
She couldn’t help but notice every time that Betty touched Jughead whenever she was speaking to him. How she always giggled at his minimum sarcastic comment. How in every difficult situation, she always relied on Jughead to make it better. And the worst part, the way Jughead seemed to have a soft spot for her as he let his guard down completely around her.
Y/N was on the brink of paranoia. She had already pictured every single worst case scenario, feeling guilty a couple of hours later for doubting of Jughead.
But it was practically impossible to get rid of her thoughts when Jughead had been blowing her off the last few weeks, because he had already made plans with Betty.
In numerous occasions she asked him to hang out, but every single time he gave her the same excuses.
“Betty has a lot on her mind lately.” “Betty needs my help for The Blue and Gold.” “Betty wants to do some research.”
No matter what, Betty only wanted Jughead’s help and no one else’s. And Jughead couldn’t refuse her the help that she needed, without any second thoughts.
And one can only take so much rejection before giving up. And she had had enough.
She started to withdraw from Jughead. Not avoiding him, but she wasn’t looking for his attention anymore.
Her pain wasn’t about Betty and Jughead’s past at all. It was the fact that he seemed to choose Betty over her all the time, not dividing his time between the two of them. He didn’t have time to be with her anymore and his carelessness was killing her.
Her friends noticed the change in her behavior. Especially because, even if it wasn’t her intention, she was also withdrawing from them with her mind always wandering elsewhere. She didn’t smile as often as she used to and when she did, it looked forced. She didn’t participate in the group’s conversations, keeping quiet at all times. And despite everyone asking her if something was wrong, she didn’t open up to anyone, always dismissing her mood.
But all her friends agreed that she looked pretty defeated.
That went on for some days, until one day Jughead caught her in the hallway between classes.
“Hey.” he greeted her, securing an arm around her shoulders. “I feel like I haven’t seen you in forever.” she felt her heart break a little when his lips placed a kiss on her temple.
“Yeah, it’s been a while.” she awkwardly said with a grimace, focusing her gaze on the floor.
“I was thinking that we could go to Pop’s tonight.” she showed her that cute little smile of his. “I know we haven’t been able to hang out and I really want to spend some time with you. I’ve missed you.” he brushed his nose against her cheek, wordlessly telling her, he had been craving her touch.
But as cute and adorable as he was acting at the moment, she couldn’t bring herself to push her heartache away.
“I-I can’t tonight Jug, sorry.” she avoided his gaze as she quickly escaped from his embrace, taking fast steps towards her next class.
Jughead stood in the middle of the hallway with his arm stretched to her, a hurt and confused expression plastered on his face. It was now clear, that whatever was going on with her, it was way deeper than he originally thought.
  •
Two days after the encounter with Jughead, she decided that enough was enough. She had to stop running away from her problems and face them once and for all. Otherwise, there would be no  way to solve the situation.
She tied up her sneakers and threw on her jacket before setting off to Archie’s house. She knew it was a bit late for a talk, but hopefully Jughead would be as understanding and kind as always. He never failed to be there for her.
She knocked on the door and waited for a few seconds before Jughead opened the door.
His expression morphed into a mix of confusion and nervousness in a flash. Maybe Archie’s dad was already home and didn’t like any late night visits.
“Hey.” he breathed. “What are you doing here?”
“I needed to see you.” she peeked behind him, to see if someone was around. “Is Archie home?”
“No, why?” he turned around to look inside for a bit, mainly to avoid looking her in the eye.
“I have to talk to you about something.” she pushed, trying hard to caught his gaze.
“Now’s not a good time Y/N.”Jughead fidgeted on his feet, his head shaking.
“I know it’s late but I-“ her sentence was cut short by a very familiar voice.
“Juggie who is it?” Betty asked, appearing from behind, placing her hand on Jughead’s shoulder to rest her chin on top of it. Y/N sighed frustrated, his previous behavior now making sense.
“Figures.” she scoffed before turning around, moving far away from the house as fast as she could without looking desperate.
“Y/N wait!” he yelled, the sound of a door closing hitting her ears. She quickened her pace once she heard his rushed footsteps approaching. Soon, he caught up to her and grabbed her arm, stopping her on her tracks. “Hey it’s-it’s not what it looks like. You know she’s only my friend.” he stumbled over his words, looking a bit frantic.
“I know you’re not cheating on me Jughead, I trust you enough to know that you wouldn’t do that.” she exclaimed offended.
“The why are you so upset?” he grabbed her faced with a concerned look. “I know something’s wrong but I thought you needed some space to figure things out before you wanted to talk about it.” Y/N sighed, bracing herself for the conversation that she had been avoiding for so long.
“Why didn’t you tell me that you and Betty had thing for each other before I came?” Jughead’s face  immediately turned pale, his mouth going completely dry. Y/N knew she hit the nail on the head with her question.
“I-I don’t know.” he whispered. “It’s not a big deal.”
“It is when that’s the reason why Betty dislikes me so much.” she brushed a hand trough her hair frustratedly. “You know I don’t mind that you want to spend time with your friends, but lately you’ve been spending a lot of your time with Betty. So much, that we actually stopped hanging out altogether, because you’re always with her.”
“Don’t be like that. You know that Betty is going through a lot.” he defended her, his voice rising with anger.
“Jughead I’ve been avoiding this conversation for a while because I didn’t want to come off as crazy or obsessive. And tonight I finally decided that I’ve had enough and that I needed to talk to you about it, but once again I’m being blown off because of Betty!”
“She needs me!” they were both yelling at this point and it was very likely that the neighbors were listening to their argument.
“I need you too!” she screeched as her eyes became glassy. She took a deep breath before continuing, now with a lower voice. “But I don’t want to be competing with Betty for your time, and most definitely I’m not going to put you in a position where you have to choose between us.” she pushed back her tears, not wanting to break in front of him. “I’m tired Jughead. I don’t want to be stuck in this situation anymore.” Jughead closed his fists by his sides, his chest rising and falling in quick breaths.
“Fine. If that’s what you want.” he bitterly replied clenching his jaw before stomping back to Archie’s house, slamming the door behind him.
She turned around, finally letting out all her bottled up emotions, the tears falling freely from her eyes.
Anything, Everything (1/2)
Summary: If she could be anything she ever wanted, it would be the one he loved. [Request] Part 1 of 2.
Word Count: 849
A/N: To the anon, I’m sorry it took me literally 4 weeks (yikes).
PART 2
Everyone says that we fall in love with people we can’t have. She knew she’s already lost him and it’s selfish, really. Because watching her best friend fall in love with someone else wasn’t exactly easy and Y/N struggled.
It’s been nearly three months and she’s managed to get used to it. She hates how naive he was. It was frustrating, to say the least considering that Michele and Ned were actually able to figure it out themselves. He couldn’t take a hint but sometimes, his actions would say otherwise.
Y/N had to watch him adore her from afar. She was everything he ever wanted. To Peter, Liz always seemed to light up the room. But he was Y/N’s sun. He was her moon and her stars. God, she was merely anything to him anymore and it was horrible.
Here she is right now, pouring herself a drink on one corner of the high school gym transformed with fancy lights and a stage at the other end of the venue.
“Why are you all alone on a night like this?”
She turns around wishing it was Peter by her side only to see Flash Thompson. Y/N manages to stop her eyes from rolling, sending him a tight lipped smile instead.
She takes another swig from the plastic cup before shrugging her shoulders. “It’s not really my thing.”
“Well if you don’t mind,” Flash says while inserting his hands in the pockets of his trousers. “I’d really like to dance with you.”
“Yeah.” Y/N couldn’t help but smile for the sake of distracting herself. “That would be nice.”
What she doesn’t notice is Peter staring from a distance. There’s sadness in his eyes, slowly feeling her slip through his fingers. Her hair flows past her shoulders in a loose braid with her dress perfectly hugging her body. She was art in its purest form.
He’d fallen in love with her a long time ago and it angered him because it took Y/N being held in someone else’s arms to realize it.
It’s stupid of her to use him as some sort of rebound, but she hasn’t seen Peter since he arrived with Liz so it must’ve helped at some point.
Of course, she spoke too soon.
“Excuse me.” Interfering the pair, Peter sends Flash a look. “Can I talk to her for a minute?” He pulls her out of the crowd before giving him the chance to answer.
“Peter?” Dumbfounded, she lets go of his grip. “What’s going on?”
“What the hell, Y/N?” He hissed. “Out of everyone in the whole school, you take him?”
“It was just one dance, come on—”
Peter was fuming, balling his fists on his sides in an attempt to compose himself. ”And you agreed? I thought you were better than that.“
“I’m sorry? Why does it matter to you?” Her voice was rising by the minute, catching the attention of some students nearby.
“You can’t— Not him—”
“Because it’s none of your business.” She grits her teeth, eyes flashing and muscles tensing as she held her purse in a tight grip.
“I love you, Y/N.”
This was all she ever wanted. This was all she ever wanted to hear but it was making her nauseous.
“Talk to me. Please.” He’s practically begging, hot on her heels. “He doesn’t deserve you.”
Y/N crosses her arms. “I’m going home.“
“Are you dating him now?” He spoke softly in disbelief, voice almost breaking as he throws his arms up in despair. His voice echoes in the dark corridor, she’s not sure if she heard him right, her mind is hazy and she stops walking before she can get through the door, scanning his disheveled figure.
“God, no! It’s you, Peter. It’s always been you!” She’s choking back her tears, hands quivering as she desperately tries to hold herself together. “I’ve loved you for so long. I wanted to move on and when I finally decide to do something about it, you start running after me.“
There’s silence between the two, a blank expression appearing on Peter’s face yet she could see right through him. He was confused. Lost.
“Was it the attention? Did you love knowing that you could break my heart?” It’s unfair but anger was flowing right through her, unable to control the words coming out of her. His mouth dries up, heart rate suddenly increasing. “I didn’t know, I never wanted to—“
“You already have.”
It felt like the wind was knocked out of his lungs, he wasn’t aware of the pain he’s caused but it was too late. Peter was blinded for so long because everything he was looking for was standing in front of him.
Watching him love someone else.
“I’m sorry, Y/N.”
Footsteps started approaching and Liz’s voice echoes across the hall. “Hey, I’ve been looking everywhere for you.” She says with a smile across her face. Peter nods, muffling a soft apology.
And when he turns back his head, Y/N was already gone leaving nothing but an empty hallway.
BTS REACTS TO: Their s/o *cough*deep throating*cough*  a Popsicle in front of the boys
anon asked: there’s this vine [youtube(.)com/watch?v=2wJ7r6i5000] where this girl is eating this Popsicle and basically deep throats it and when her friends pointed it out she says confused “it’s not that big”. Can you do a BTS Reaction to their crush or s/o doing that in front him and the boys?
I fucking LOVE that vine. Everyone watch it [here] before reading this reactions. The girl fit the whole 8-Inch Popsicle in her mouth and shE DIDN’T EVEN GAG BRUH i’m #Deceased - Admin Dayna
Seokjin
Sweltering summer days usually led to everyone slowing down to sloths. Even with fans and AC blasting on you and the boys, everyone still felt incredibly beat. Jin was brilliant enough to come up with the idea purchasing popsicles and such, but he sent the younger two; Kookie and Tae out to retrieve them, too lazy to get it himself. By the time everyone got their hands on the frozen treat, energy had been restored within you and the boys. You ripped off the wrapping from your own popsicle, and went to town; managing to put the entire length of it down your mouth. Jin yelped your name in disbelief and the boys had surprised (borderline lewd) expressions of their own.
“[y/n]! What are you doing?!”
“I’m eating the popsi – “
“Like that?! That’s dirty!”
“I – I’m just eating a popsicle?”
It’s Hard Enough - Cooper!Reader X Jughead Jones - Part 2
Loved the Jughead imagine you just posted! Idk if anon is going to request part two with Veronica but if they do I have a possible idea haha. So the Cooper’s mom bombards the reader with more stress before school and she’s totally out of it until Veronica pulls her aside, comforts her and helps her approach Betty. It goes well and there’s a lot of crying between the two Cooper’s, so Veronica decides they’ll go to Pop’s to cheer up. Jughead is there and the reader gets adorably flustered
I only have one thing to ask…Part three????
Originally posted by thejugheadjones
It was a few days after you talked to Jughead in Pop’s and things had been going pretty well. You often found yourself hanging out with Jughead during lunch in the library. He would show you his progress of his novel to which you would become amazed at his writing skills. He would also ask you about your family and how you were doing. You were always truthful with one another, you were open about your feelings and he shared his own troubles. Your friendship was blossoming before your very eyes. It was the accidental brush of fingers and the lingering looks that pulled you to him further. From what you could tell, it wasn’t one sided either. Just the fact he still wanted you around whenever he could was a good sign; but then your anxiety would get the better of you. Why would he, a smart and good-looking Sophomore, want to date you, a mediocre Freshman? That answer seemed to be lost in the deepest corners of your mind, because now things were bad again.
“I can’t have you being distracted by boys like Betty. Focus on your studies, join at least 3 clubs for your transcript, and go off to a good college. Any less than that would be a disappointment, now wouldn’t it?” Your mother’s voice echoed in your head from this morning. You were walking next to Betty, who had heard it all, at school. Flashes of this morning danced before your eyes; Mother yelling then you agreeing, Betty protesting, Mother screaming, then you and Betty crying. Your mother had said some things to say the least, and going to school right after that horror show wasn’t the best idea. You could still feel the stinging in your eyes and your sniffly nose fought against you when you and Betty told Veronica that “we’re fine.”
It didn’t help that you got a few texts from Jughead in the morning asking if you wanted to hangout at Pop’s after school. When you made it to 3rd Period, your Writing Class, you were already exhausted and wanted to be anywhere but there. You sat down in a random seat and started to pull out the notes from Friday when you saw a familiar figure out of the corner of your eye. “Y/N,” he started, “are you okay?” You turned in your seat to face him and saw that his blue eyes were full of worry. “Yeah, I’m good why?” You obviously were lying, and you knew Jughead noticed by the way his eyebrows furrowed. “You didn’t reply to my texts this morning,” he said, his voice hushed to not arouse suspicion. Luckily you were saved from having to talk to him any longer because the bell rang and your teacher started class. During the whole period, you could feel Jughead’s eyes on you. If it was under different circumstances, you might’ve enjoyed the attention, but right now all you wanted to do was escape. So when the bell rang you darted out of the classroom and walked as quickly as you could to the next class.
During lunch, you sat with Betty and her friends rather than Jughead. You just didn’t want to face him after that. The lunch period was rather uneventful; Archie seemed to be quiet and wouldn’t look at Betty, so it was Kevin and Veronica that carried the conversation. You were about to chime in when your phone buzzed against your leg. You pulled it out and saw it was a text notification from Jughead.
Jughead ;} : I won’t be able to be there for you if you don’t talk to me.
Jughead ;} : Whenever you want to see me, just text me, okay?
You didn’t have the chance to reply because the lunch bell rang. You and your sister barely made it through the rest of the day without breaking down. Veronica, being one of the greatest friends ever, noticed this and confronted the both of you after school.
“If you don’t want to tell me what’s wrong, that’s fine, but I’m taking you two out to Pops to hang out whether you like it or not.” Betty tried to protest but Veronica silenced her with a raised finger, “Aunt Ronnie is not letting anyone mope.” She drove you both to the diner, in an uncomfortable silence. When you all arrived, each one of you ordered a milkshake and found a secluded booth.
“So, what’s up?” Veronica asked as if nothing was wrong. Betty was about to answer with a cliche answer but you beat her to it. “Our mom hasn’t been the kindest woman to us lately.” You looked at Betty who merely nodded in agreement. “Is there anything I can do to help?” Veronica asked, her voice laced with concern. You shrugged and Betty didn’t say a word. “Well, you two can sleep over at my place whenever you need to, okay?” She asked, reaching her hands across the table to hold on of yours and one of Betty’s. “Thank you, Veronica.” Betty said, her blue eyes happy and clear for the first time that day. You nodded in agreement and then Veronica changed the subject to Archie. She and Betty talked it out and you found yourself looking out the window of the diner.
It was a nice day outside, unlike the last time you were here. The rain pattering against the window and enjoying Jughead’s company. Jughead; you felt a pit in your stomach at the thought of him. You had left him out of the loop, lied to him. You found your phone and was about to text him when you saw the notification.
Jughead ;} : Second booth nearest to the bathroom, if you want to sit.
You smiled softly at your phone. “Hey Betty I got to go to the bathroom.” Betty nodded and scooted out of the booth so you could get out. You walked past the main door and the little divider and saw him sitting there. He looked up and the corner of his mouth twitched upwards a little. You walked over and sat down next to him, your shoulders brushing his.
“I’m sorry about before.” You said and Jughead nodded. “I understand if you don’t what to see me Y/N, I’m not the friendliest of person but at least tell me.”
“Oh, that’s not why I,” you let out a quiet laugh, “I had a really bad morning and I didn’t well, I didn’t talk to anyone at school.”
“What happened?” He asked, and you were caught off guard by the kindness in his eyes. You proceeded to tell him what happen between you, your sister, and your mother in the morning. He listened to every word and it seemed he got closer each time you spoke. “Is there-” He started, but he stopped himself. He turned his eyes to the table, hand curled in fists on the stand. You rested your hand on his forearm, causing him to look back at you. “It’s okay, Jug. I’m going to be okay.” You didn’t know what it was exactly; the fact that his handle was suddenly holding yours or if it was the way he was looking at you, but you believed what you had said. As long as Jughead was around, you felt that you would be just fine. Suddenly, Jughead was closer, his eyes darting from your eyes to your lips.
“Can I?” He whispered and you felt a hot blush rise to your cheeks. Despite that, you found the bravery to answer him. “Y-yes.”
His lips were soft when they met yours. You fumbled a bit at first, this being your first kiss. Jughead didn’t seem to care, he only kissed you back harder. His hand cupped your neck and your hands found his jaw. He pulled away slowly, only to rest his forehead against yours. You were both catching your breaths, staring into each other’s eyes. You let out a winded laugh and so did he. “I’ll be better than okay.” You whispered and Jughead leaned in again, giving you a slower, sweeter kiss than before. Your hands pulled gently on his sweater, trying to bring him closer. If it wasn’t the pesky need to breath, you would probably never stop kissing him. You sensed Jughead felt the same way, judging how he brushed his nose against yours. It suddenly felt hot in the diner, and you were brought back to reality. You looked over and saw that Betty and Veronica were still talking, but you didn’t what to risk taking too long.
“I should go back, so they don’t suspect anything.” You whispered, but Jughead only kissed you in response. It was a quick peck, but it still left you wanting more. “Okay,” he whispered back, “text me if anything gets to be too much, yeah?” You gave him a soft smile and nodded. You reached your hand up, letting your fingertips brushing against his cheek. He closed his eyes at the touch, as if he was waiting for this moment for months. “I will.” You murmured as you slid out of the booth. You walked back to your sister and your friend, sitting down next to Veronica this time. “What did you do, fall in?” Veronica joked, and Betty laughed. A grin crept onto your features and you looked up and saw Jughead leaving the diner. He gave you a look, that no one else saw, and left. “Yeah,” you said with a smile, “I fell in.”
Part Two
Part Three
*********************
*********************
J. Jonah Jameson– for all his asshole posturing and shouting and dropping f bombs like he was raining them down on the innocent people below– completely supported Pride Month.
Every June, he instructed his reporters to stop reporting on death and mayhem and that fucking spider and–and  this is a direct quote, mind you—
—–“find someone carrying a rainbow flag and make them a celebrity. This is Pride Month. So let’s show how fucking proud we are of all of them. Fucking ridiculous, people having to hide who they are from the world. Who the fuck cares? Fuck haters. Go find me someone fabulous and fucking flaming to interview. I expect rainbows and glitter and drag queens.”
Granted, Jameson’s attitude might not have been exactly politically correct, and maybe he used the wrong words to describe members of the LGBTQ community, and maybe he still came across as insensitive, but his heart was in the right place. And he certainly might have teared up once or twice or a dozen times when he heard that two of the male reporters in the bullpen were tying the knot finally. He also might have given them two weeks paid vacation for their honeymoon, and a giant bonus because he was so happy for them.
So, brushing aside the incorrect phrasing, and the insensitive but well meaning enthusiasm of the editor, the staff of the Daily Bugle just smiled and ‘yes sir’-ed and went out to follow his instructions– edited of course because a casting call for someone ‘fabulous and fucking flaming’ might not go over as smoothly with the real world.
No one knew why the cantankerous editor suddenly became pro-glitter during June, but they knew him well enough not to question it.
So when Jameson had yelled for Peter to stop photographing that “goddamn wall crawling pain in my ass and get down to the Parade and for gods sake wear something with a unicorn on it!”, Peter had just grinned and grabbed his camera and headed down town.
Insistence (Finn Balor x Reader drabble)
A/N: Hey lovelies! This was a drabble request from this prompt list with the line “16. Where are your clothes?” by anon! In all fairness, this is smut for the sake of smut, it’s really not as fluffy as my other drabbles, but I have a feeling y’all will forgive me! I turned myself on writing this, no lies.
Warnings: Smut, smut without plot, oral sex, secret relationship.
Sirius x Reader - Perfect match.
Originally posted by nellaey
Anon : Hey, if you’re taking requests I was wondering if you could write something angsty/fluffy with having a very bad argument with sirius and then you guys ignore each other for a few days, and since you’re also friends with James remus Peter and lily they’re all trying to help you guys out and then it all ends in a fluffy way? Just lots of feels! 😂
A/N : Ok, I hope I did it right! Let me know what you whink about it <3
It had been already a week since you spoke to Sirius. A dreadful week.
The truth was that you really missed him, although you would never bring yourself to admit it.
You were the type of people who never feared to speak their mind and that lead into having little outburst of tension from time to time. Usually, they didn’t affect you that much and the two of you could easily forget about them, but this time was different. The fight that you shared was a really bad one and it almost seemed as if every irrelevant argument that you had, was brought up and transformed into something far worse than it actually was.
The whole thing had been blown way out of proportion, and the two of you were well aware of that, although thanks to your pride neither of you was willing to admit it, or let alone leave behind.
You tried to ignore each other as much as possible, which eventually left your mutual friends feeling obligated to interfere in the matter.
That’s why now you found yourself in an empty classroom while sitting in front of your boyfriend, surrounded by the group of, as you though not less than 5 minutes ago - friends.
“Well” Lily stated, trying to get the attention of both of you “I am sorry guys, but this is ridiculous. Can’t you just talk it trough?”
“Well, I do not particularly like being ambushed, especially by people, who I trust on my life. Can we talk that trough, Prongs?” Sirius countered while crossing his arms and seating himself more comfortably.
You couldn’t help, but feel frustrated at the way he presumptuously raised his eyebrow at you, expecting some kind of response.
“Sorry mate, but she is right. You both know you have to eventually do something, don’t you?”
“I’m not going to do it first” you said sternly, the look on your face remaining indifferent.
“Me neither”
“Honestly why do you have to act like some 5-year-olds?!” Remus piped in, the frustration in his voice easily detectable. “You are going to stay here until you sort this mess out, understood?”
Neither of you said anything, as he started to leave, making the rest of the group follow him out of the room.
“Do you think that he really closed us in here?” you asked calmly after a minute, trying not to look at him.
“Probably. We sure are lucky to have so persuasive friends” he huffed, his gaze now fixated onto you.
“Yeah, subtle is their second name I guess” you stated, trying to sound as convincing as you could. Suddenly he stood up and started pacing back and forth the old classroom. As he did so, much to your annoyance, you couldn’t help but notice how good he looked in that leather jacket he wore, in spite of the schools uniform code. You crossed your arms, hoping that this would tame the urge of brushing your hands trough his silky black hair.
Fuck. That was hard. Why did he always had to look so handsome?
“Look Y/N, I know you are mad at me”
“Well, that one you got right” you mumbled quietly, slowly bringing yourself to look him in the eyes.
“I am always right, kitten” he smirked and winked at you, involuntarily making you chuckle “Do my ears deceive me? Have I finally managed to make you laugh?” he joked as he slowly walked in your direction, in order to sit next to you.
“Stop it, Black” you elbowed him lightly, not being able to hide the smile that lingered on your lips. Him being so close after a week apart left you feeling a bit dizzy. You really missed him. You missed your silly talks, the way he flirted with you on every occasion he got and the way he smiled at you each time your eyes met during classes that you shared, but most of all you longed to be able to touch him. Godric, you wanted to kiss that smirk off, of his face so badly.
After a moment of silence he hesitantly reached out his hand and grabbed yours. You didn’t pull back. You couldn’t even if you wanted to. His touch made you so overwhelmed, by various emotions that you weren’t even able to move.
“I miss you Y/N” he suddenly blurred out, while enter twining your fingers with his.
“I miss you too” you turned your head in order to face him. He had that look on his face. The look that you knew so well by now. It was the look he did each time he screwed something up, but you knew that this time you had your part in it too.
He cupped your cheek and you couldn’t help, but lean into his warm touch.
“I’m sorry that I have been so childish, it’s just that…”
“I know” you cut him off, his gaze now fixated on your parted lips “Maybe we are more alike, than we actually should be”
“Nah, that’s rubbish” he said, slowly getting closer “We are perfect for each other, and you happen to be fully aware of that, kitten”
“Are we?” you asked teasingly, the tension between the two of you now nearly unbearable. Without a word he kissed you softly, as if he was asking for your permission. You deepened the kiss, the feeling of blissfulness overwhelming you in every possible way. Your hands started running trough his silky hair, as he pulled you onto his lap. He straddled your waist, and nibbled at your lower lip, making you roll your eyes back and arch your back out of pleasure. Merlin, it felt so good.
“Yes” he gasped, nearly out of breath, as the two of you finally parted “We are”
“Well, if you say so, then I suppose it’s true” you chuckled at the way he instantly grinned at your response.
“That’s my girl” he took you in his arms, and spoon around, making you giggle like a child. And that’s was the moment, in which you realised that you were indeed a perfect match.
soulmate! Joshua
anon requested: "Can you do a joshua soulmate, please? 😁"
admin note: OK WHERE TO BEGIN, first sorry if this is a bit long, Joshua is my (admin Jess) bias so I may or may not have gotten carried away, also this is a bit different then the normal au’s we do /)~(\ . Hope you enjoy!
summary: in which visible injuries (like cuts, bruises, scrapes, etc.) that you sustain are shared with your soulmate and vice versa (part two)
  • you don’t know who your soulmate is, but everyday you’re always scared
  • scared that if you accidentally trip because you’re kinda klutzy, you might get hurt
  • and if you get even a scratch, your soulmate will too
  • you don’t even know who they are
  • but how awful would it be to know that you caused them pain, that it was your fault
  • it’s kind of unavoidable
  • you’ll turn the page in your book and get a paper cut
  • you fell off your bike when you were younger and scraped your shin
  • you cried for hours, not because it hurt you, but because you knew somewhere, someone else got hurt too
  • you’d like to think that whoever they are, they’re trying their best to not get hurt too
  • because then you’d be hurt
  • and sometimes you’ll get a bruise somewhere or a scrape
  • but instead of being angry with your soulmate, whoever they are, you hoped they were ok
  • and taking care of themselves, because that’s just the kind of person you are
  • luckily this whole soulmate thing only applied to visible injuries
  • so you twisting your ankle during gymnastics in 3rd grade wouldn’t affect them
  • that didn’t stop you from constantly being worried though
  • you’re starting university now
  • finally moving out and living on your own
  • this is supposed to be where the rest of your life starts
  • you sang in choirs when you were little since you liked music
  • sometimes you get blisters on your fingers which makes you think your soulmate might play a string instrument
  • it’s nice to know you both share music in common and not just visual injuries
  • but your parents convinced you to pursue a more practical career than music
  • which is how you ended up getting accepted with an undeclared major
  • might as well get all the mandatory classes out of the way before deciding how you want to spend the rest of your life
  • you work part time in this coffee shop, just a few bus stops away from your apartment
  • it has decent pay and you adjusted well
  • you already know how to make everything safely and efficiently so as to not get hurt and free coffee for the late night study session
  • it doesn’t stop your hand from shaking sometimes when you’re carrying hot drinks
  • but you can do it, you can prevent accidents so as to not hurt yourself and your soulmate
  • thoughts wonder across your mind sometimes
  • would it be better to know who they were?
  • so that you could apologize for the various pain you caused them over the years?
  • but would they want anything to do with someone, someone who they were fated to share pain with?
  • useless thoughts maybe, but you think about them often
  • one morning you wake up with a cut on your thumb
  • you don’t remember cutting your thumb though
  • and you want to scream, it stings like crazy
  • but sadly you can’t use sick hours for a cut on your thumb
  • you’re going to be late to work at this rate
  • and so of course you forget to put on a band aid
  • and the day seems to pass pretty normally, at least at first
  • you’re familiar with all the regulars in the coffee shop and converse with them while making their regular orders you have memorized
  • so when a guy comes in with a mask over his face, you’re curious who he is
  • he orders a coffee and gives his name as Hansol
  • and when you pass him his order…
  • “How did you get that cut?” his voice has a mix of things you don’t quite understand, it sounds a bit like pity and caution and something else
  • “What?” you ask, you almost forgot it amidst your usual routines
  • “I was asking how you got that cut?” he said more urgently, but then he catches himself, “I’m sorry, it just looked painful.”
  • he gives you a stiff bow and leaves hurriedly
  • you didn’t know who Hansol was, but he asked about the cut you got because your soulmate must have cut their thumb, and his hand didn’t have a cut from what you saw
  • so why did he ask?
  • you hear this story much much later
  • that day after encountering you in the coffee shop, Vernon had went back to Svt’s practice room
  • “Hyung!” Hansol called for Joshua
  • Joshua looked up at Vernon
  • “what’s up Vernon?”
  • “You cut your thumb this morning right? while changing the strings on your guitar?”
  • “Yea I did… why are you…?” Joshua slowed
  • for him, this whole soulmate ordeal with the injuries was terrifying
  • what could he do knowing he had caused someone else to get hurt?
  • when he cut his thumb this morning, he spent thirty minutes low key panicking, knowing that someone also had the same cut on their thumb
  • he hated knowing it was his fault
  • while the other members who had found their soulmate like Vernon and Jun were ecstatic
  • they often repeated the stories of a fated meeting
  • but Joshua always felt guilty, like he owed more to his soulmate than he could ever repay
  • because before even knowing them, he had already hurt them
  • “hyung youcan’t always blame yourself, everyone gets hurt sometimes, accidentally. whoever they are, you’ve got scratches from your soulmate before right?”
  • everyone in svt thought that this particular fate was hard, especially since it was Joshua
  • Joshua cared a lot about everyone and knowing that he might have caused someone pain, everyone knew how difficult it would have been for him
  • “Hansol, did you see someone with a cut on their thumb today?”
  • “Yea … she’s working on the coffee shop around the corner”
  • it’s raining when your shift is over
  • “aish…” welp next time, you’ll remember to bring an umbrella
  • you start speed walking towards the bus station when-
  • “Yah!!!” the voice sounds familiar
  • you turn around and you see Hansol and another boy, both wearing masks and coats run through the rain behind you
  • now when random a random stranger you met through their order of morning coffee, who had also asked you a strange question, comes running towards you with another person next to him
  • common sense would tell you to turn around and briskly search for witnesses
  • stranger. danger.
  • but you stand there frozen while they slow and then walk up to you
  • you feel the rain slowly soaking into your clothes, it’s really pouring now
  • it’s cold
  • Hansol comes up to you and tries explaining
  • “You know how I asked about that cut on your finger earlier…”
  • you realize you’re holding your breath
  • it’s really cold now
  • “well…” Hansol stops and makes eye contact with the person he came here with
  • he’s a bit taller than Hansol and his hair is auburn brown
  • whether you had meant to show it or not, you felt yourself shivering
  • Hansol’s friend with the auburn hair takes off his coat and drapes it around your shoulders, his dress shirt immediately beginning to get soaked
  • he looks at you with a sad little smile on his face as he raises his hand
  • there’s a cut on his thumb
  • the same cut on your thumb
