'drunk you say

anonymous asked:

Your swan story just made me think "What if a tiny 4'11 woman saw a transformed swan and was basically all 'please make me ripped too' and ended up building a house by the lake to be with her swan buds. And people keep passing by and thinking she's a swan in human form, and are not prepared for her friends when their wrong"

(I love this idea! I’m trying this new thing where I don’t write 5,000 words and don’t post because it doesn’t have an ending lol. So here’s a short one!)

“I’ll make her my wife!” Samuel declares, slamming his tankard on the bar. The men and women around him groan, but it’s his best friend Otis that speaks.

“You’ve said that everyday for the past week,” Otis says. “Maybe try talking to her first, huh?”

Samuel shakes his head so hard that his hair, tied up with a scrap of leather, comes undone. “We don’t need words. Our eyes met across the lake. The sun lit up her verdant eyes and–”

We fell in love instantly,” the pub choruses. The ladies in the back all take a shot, giggling at their incomprehensible game.

Samuel continues doggedly. “My mother married a frog, and I will marry myself a swan. Fairy tales run in my family, mate, you’ll see.”

“Sure, you drunk bastard,” Otis says and buys him another pint.

Samuel decides that tomorrow, tomorrow he’ll show them all.

——————————————————

“Good morning,” he calls from the fence line. He swipes his hat from his hand as the young woman turns and tries not to show his nerves. “L-lovely day we’re having, no?”

The young woman blinks at him. She’s small, thin arms and dainty feet with a long, lovely neck. This makes sense, of course, seeing that she is a swan in human form.

Samuel knows that at any moment, his love will invite him in, glad to finally have an excuse to be in his presence just as he is glad to be in hers. It is good that he knows this because the blood is pounding in his ears and he can hardly hear a thing over the thunder of his own heart.

genre: fuckboi!jungkook, roommate!jungkook, possibly smut in the future? angstish for now tbh

How you ended up with the world’s biggest fuckboy as your roommate, you don’t know; actually you did but still why you stayed you don’t know. This was seriously one of the world’s wonders; there were no common interests or reasons we had to get along but somehow we both ended up in this place together. You had been placed in the same apartment thanks to your friend Jimin who was moving to his own place and he said he’d look for a roommate for you, you didn’t expect that guy to move the worst person he could possibly choose into your home.

“I’m sorry, okay? He needed a place to stay after getting kicked out of Youngjae’s place.”, Jimin sympathetically told you whilst you tried to enjoy a meal. “If they kicked out, what makes you think I want him?” “Come on, he’s like a younger brother to me, he’s your age. Give him a chance?” “He’s literally the worst, since the day I met him I’ve wanted to murder him.” “Jeez, you need to stop hanging out with Yoongi.” “Besides the point, Jimin.” “I’m sorry, just give him a chance, if you can’t stand him, just leave, come to me, I don’t care, but give it a go. I kinda do wanna live on my own now?” “Am I the problem?”, you asked unamused by his hectic argument. “No, no, it’s not you, it’s just easier to get to work and school from my new place. You’re always welcome over if you need to stay or something, don’t worry.” “Fine, this is all for you Park Jimin.”

The things you do for this guy; you had a soft spot for Jimin, he was like an older brother to you. The one you never had, he really needed a roommate and soon you became friends, that was after realising you guys had mutual friends. Well, now you were living with Jungkook for Jimin’s sake.

It wasn’t too bad at first, neither of you spoke to each other and when he did attempt to make conversation you would simply tell him: “Did we agree on talking at this time or am i hearing things?”, causing him to sigh and give up on trying to gain your friendship. Other times you were forced to speak to him, like when he was in front of the fridge, the stove, the microwave or the door. “Move out the way dickead.”, you told him after he was blocking the entrance to the bathroom. “That’s not how you pronounce Jungkook!”, he pouted as he dried his hair with a towel. “Was I trying to pronounce your name? I don’t think so and you’re still in the way!” “My apologies, my lady.” He would always attempt to joke around with you and be friendly, but you assumed he was doing so to be civil not to be friends with you after he dropped you and Isla back in high school, even if you weren’t friends with Isla anymore, it still sucked.

Day 4: Performer AU

Everyone at the law firm they work at decided to have a group outing to the local karaoke bar and these two ended up having too much fun

After this, they made out in the bathroom and had to be driven home ;3c

Our Bounty Hunter Fighter has a bottomless whiskey bottle (he joined in our party quite late, so he asked the DM to give him one in order to have his character take large swigs of whiskey whenever we do something crazy, fight a huge boss and the like, saying that his character, Ben, copes with the things he sees with us all the time) and we were in this huge mountain castle, sitting at a war table, discussing battle plans with some hardened warrior NPC’s. Since the moment we met those guys, Ben has been trying to seduce the only female in that group. Her name was Lena and she had a huge warhammer.

At the war table:

Valkyr (me, the Dragon Knight Fighter): “I wish to apologize to everyone in Ben’s stead. He is but a lonely drunkard and is presently drunk.”

Ben: Say what you want! I have (turns to his bottle, and caresses it tenderly) you…and Lena (looks at Lena, waves with his fingers).

Lena: I wish I was dead.

The two ended up getting it on with each other.

You stumbled over to your friend Betty, and even almost tripped, but you had caught yourself on Betty. She looked at you with wide eyes, surprised from the sudden weight on shoulder.

“Y/N? Are you drunk?” She asked you.

You made a ‘pfft’ sound and replied, “No, why would youuuu think that?” You slurred over your words.

She shook her head, “You’re wasted, gosh Y/N you need to go home.”

You gasped at that, “Go home?! But it’s a partyyyyy!”

“And you’re super drunk, c’mon lets go see if anyone can take you home,” She grabbed your hand and dragged you through the crowd until she found Veronica.

You weren’t listening, just moving your head to the music, too intoxicated to think straight or care about what they were saying. After a few moments Betty turned back around to you.

“All of us have had a drink so I’m gonna ring Jughead and see if he can come get you okay?” Betty told you.

You smiled, “Yay! I love Juggie! He’s so cute with his crown and… What was I saying again?”

Betty shook her head at you, rolling her eyes and typing something into her phone. You paid no attention once again. After a couple of minutes, Betty started talking again, “Jughead is gonna come get you, but he’ll be a little while so you gotta wait with me til’ he’s here alright?”

You nodded your head, and danced a little to the music. Soon enough, Betty grabbed your hand and started dragging you outside. Once you saw Jughead you squealed with excitement.

You ran up to him and gave him a huge hug, “Juggie! I missed you!”

“When you said she was drunk I didn’t think she was this drunk,” you heard Jughead say to Betty.

Betty laughed, “Have fun!” and walked back inside.

You let go of Jughead, and looked up to him, and he said, “C’mon let’s get you home.”

After about ten minutes of walking, you arrive at your house. Jughead leads you around the back to the back door. He grabs the hidden key that’s kept outside and unlocks the door, he places the key back and turns around to you.

“You gotta keep quiet alright? You’ll wake up your parents if you’re too loud,” He whispered.

You although you were slightly less drunk than when he picked you up, you giggled like it was funny that he was whispering, and mock whispered, “Okay.”

He quietly opened the door, and he grabbed your hand, pulling you along with him, you tiptoed through the house and up the stairs, to your bedroom, where he shut the door once you were both inside. You pulled off your shoes and walked over and collapsed on your bed, sighing with content.

Jughead walked over and pulled the covers over you, “Goodnight, Y/N.”

Before he could walk off however, you grabbed his hand, “Stay,” you said.

He looked conflicted for a moment, “I can’t.”

“Please?” You asked, “Just until I’m asleep, then you can go.”

Jughead sighed, “Fine.”

He walked around to the other side of your double bed, sliding in underneath the covers, and just laying on that side, staring up at the ceiling. It was quiet for a moment, sort of awkward too but you didn’t really care all that much cause you were still kind of drunk. You then moved so that you were cuddling Jughead, your arm across his waist, head on his chest. He didn’t move for a few moments, kind of lost at what to do, but he slowly moved his arm so that he was holding you.

You smiled, and fell asleep, comfortably in Jughead’s arms.

You know that moment, when you’re just a little bit drunk? When you can say what you want because your defenses are down? Or you can do that thing that you never could, because your inhibitions are lower? I wish we could live like that all the time. Be happy just because our defenses are down.
—  L.W. - excerpt from a book I’ll never write #68
I know how you feel when you’re alone, lying on your bed, looking at your phone as if it’s meant to bring you peace from all the demons tugging at your head. You ask yourself; who in the hell will love me? And you should always remember no one will, unless you love yourself.

The smell of cigarettes from his superior is blocking his mind. He tried to shake his discomforts, a few times, but he had to settle for a walk for a minute. He never bothered to take his phone to the toilet but this time, he did. He picked the cubicle farthest from the entrance and placed the seat cover down. He slip his phone out of his back pocket and he sighed, before anything else. He sighed, tiredly. As if he’ll be expecting some unwanted texts. And like he predicted, he did.

“Yongguk.”
“Please, answer my call.”
“I need you.”
“Call me.”
“I won’t be asking you for help. Not anymore.”
“This will be the last time.”

He locked the screen and hovered his eyes away from it, while tilting his head back. “You have seven missed calls, since Monday.” The last text arrived. He had been out of town, but isn’t very far from where he lives. This was the kind of text messages he refused to reply to. He cares about you too much, and for that same reason he had been avoiding you. So that you’ll grow out of it.

AHS Hotel: “Her husband is going to kill you”

Your husband, James was nowhere to be found so you decided to pay Liz a visit at the bar.

Sally happened to be there too, so you sat right next to her. There was also an older caucasian man drinking alone just sitting 1 stool away from you. He looks like he is in his 60′s.

You, Liz, & Sally were having a nice conversation until the man randomly budded in saying, “you’re disgusting.” He was swaying his head as he was holding his drink. He obviously seemed drunk.

You turned your head to look at him and mugged him, not saying a word because you assumed he was just talking to himself. Then you turned back around to face Liz. Sally just looked at him as she was smoking her cigarette and Liz raised a brow at him.

“You’re disgusting,” he repeated while looking at me.

“What?” You looked back at him, with a confused look on your face.

Sally, still having a cigarette in her mouth said, “Excuse me?”

He pointed at me, while drunkily saying, “You have no respect for yourself. Look at what you’re wearing. And too much makeup.”

This man came out of nowhere. You felt more confused than you felt disrespected. You found it quite hilarious, actually. All you’re wearing are 5 inch heels with an all black jumpsuit that showed cleavage. It’s not like you were naked. Maybe this man was just having a bad day or maybe his wife cheated on him. I mean, he was alone. Who knows. But you weren’t going to let it ruin your day.

“Who gives a crap about what she’s wearing?” Liz annoyingly says to the man.

“Yeah, she looks hot. Fuck off.” Sally adds.

The man takes a chug from his beer. “Whore”, he sloppily words.

You let out a fake laugh and flipped your hair. “You’re funny.”

The old man is so drunk that he accidentally knocks his beer bottle, having the rest of the beer spill on you. He didn’t even care to pick it up, so he spat on the floor.

Sally rolls her eyes and puts her cigarette in the ash tray.

Liz picks up the bottle and quickly grabs a towel to hand to you. “Her husband is going to kill you.” She points at the man.

“It’s alright, Liz. Don’t worry about it. He’s quite hilarious actually. My day has been boring until this loser came along.” You said as you were patting your clothes dry with the towel.

“I ain’t afraid of nothing.” The man says while glaring at you, emphasizing the word ‘nothing’. He stood up, getting ready to leave but Liz walks around the bar and grabs the him by the shirt. “You don’t talk to the lady of the house like that! Do you hear me?”

“No Liz, it’s alright really. He’s just drunk.” You say to Liz, putting your hand on her arm to calm down. Liz was always so loyal to you because you’ve done so much for her as a friend.

“It’s fine, Y/N. Me and Sally are going to escort this punk out of here.” Liz says and glances at Sally.

Sally nods her head and gets up. “We’ll be back.”

Both Sally and Liz take the man downstairs. Will Drake passes them at the top of the stairs heading to the bar.

“Y/N, what was that all about?” Will points at them laughing, then goes to pour himself a drink.

“Long story. He’s just wasted.” You laugh back.

………………..

15 minutes pass and Liz comes back. Sally didn’t come back with her. She probably went back to her room or something.

“Damn Liz, took you long enough.” You said sarcastically.

Liz sashays to her spot behind the bar, popping her lips saying, “Yup.” She seemed like she was up to something, but you didn’t question it.

“It wasn’t a big deal, but thanks for having my back anyways.”

Liz puts one hand on her hip and snaps her fingers with the other. “Oh don’t worry about it. He was messing with my girl, Y/N. By the way, James said he needs to see you in the laundry room.”

“Uh laundry room. For what?” You were so confused. Laundry room? Out of all places, James wants to meet you there? Whatever. If your husband needs to see you, you’re definitely going to be there.

“Who knows, hun.” Liz shrugs.

……………..

Once you’ve reached the laundry room, you see James with his sleeves rolled up standing behind the man that disrespected you at the bar. The man is on his knees with his hands tied up in front of him looking afraid, but not saying a word. You figured James roughed him up a bit before you got there. “You will pay for disrespecting my queen.” You hear James tell the man as you walked in.

“James?”

“Ah, darling!” James turns around and looks at you with excitement.

“What is going on?” You stood there surprised. You didn’t expect Liz and Sally to really go out of there way to bring the man to James. You really thought they both escorted him out of the hotel. No wonder it took Liz forever to get back.

“This is the creature that Liz and Sally have informed me that said such vile things to you at the bar, no?”

“Yes. Yes he is.” You said with an evil grin. You knew exactly what James was going to do. So you cross your arms in front of you and watch him. You also remembered that James needed a fix as well. It’s been a little over a week since he’s killed anyone, anyways.

The man turns his head to look at James. “You’re never going to get away with this.” He turns his head back to face the opened laundry chute.

James leans over and whispers in the man’s ear. “I happen to disagree with you.”

Something about James right now just turns you on. You can’t tell if it’s because he’s looks sexy with his sleeves rolled up or if it’s because he’s so protective over you that he’s willing to kill for you. Or maybe it’s both.

James stands up straight, then roughly bashes the back of the man’s head with his hammer and throws his body down the chute. Good riddance.

James wipes his forehead with the back of his hand. You walk over to James and whisper in his ear, “I love watching you kill.” Then you leave the room to head over to your bedroom. You knew that saying that would turn James on and that he would soon be following after you.

*NOT MY GIFS*

I’ve been loving adding gifs to my stories lately! lol I like to make it feel as real as possible as you’re reading. I’ve been starting to get my story inspirations from looking up gifs.

hi i’m angry and i like to rant

if you’re pro rebecca or anti robert i’d look away now, also i’m not putting a read more i quite frankly i don’t care if you don’t want to see it.

since that preview was released i’ve received multiple asks, either saying that rebecca is a victim here, or that she doesn’t deserve the backlash she’s getting.

i am very much a firm believer in freedom of speech, say what you like i don’t care. but i do care when you completely erase everything thats happening with this storyline. and yes, robron and rebecca are fictional, but this kind of thing is happening to real people, and it’s because of attitudes like this that stop actual victims coming forward.

rebecca knew exactly what she was doing. she didn’t just show up at the mill to and find it a complete surprise that robert was struggling. she had seen it all week, she was helping liv, she was fully aware of what the situation was. she saw the man that she’s in love with struggling and she took advantage of it. and yes, robert said all of that shit, but, and i’m talking from experience, when you’re sad and drunk, whatever you say, you don’t really mean at all.

she could have maintained some self respect, she could have been a decent human being, never mind friend, and kept robert safe. she didn’t, she took what she wanted, and now robert has rejected her, she’s lashing out. because rebeeca white always gets what she wants.

no, robert shouldn’t have slept with her (though i’m still lowkey thinking nothing actually happened) but he didn’t invite her round for sex, he needed a friend, which he thought she was, and now she’s just proving that it was never her intention. she’s tried it multiple times, and now that robert is in pain, she took her chance with both hands.

he didn’t take advantage of her, because from what i saw she was perfectly willing. he doesn’t need to apologise for ‘using her’, the only person he needs to apologise to is aaron. rebecca is not a friend to aaron, she comforted liv to get brownie points with robert, she’s obsessive and desperate. and robert isn’t innocent, he shouldn’t have gotten so drunk he thought it was a right thing to do, but the blame can’t lie entirely with him.

if this was the other way around there would’t even need to be a discussion about who’s at fault here.

Say You Won’t Let Go - Jughead Jones

Request: I just read your Happier imagine and I thought it was great! Can you do a Jughead imagine based on the song Say You Won’t Let Go by James Arthur thank you

Thank you! I had fun brainstorming this one, i feel like it turned out kind of shit tho. I’m just not confident in myself at all recently, i’m sorry if it’s not what you were looking for :) Hope you enjoy it though <3

BASED OFF OF THIS SONG

Words: 3,014

Warnings: Swear or two :3 ALSO NOT PROOFREAD, DON’T HATE ME.

Jughead watched from the sidelines, behind a wired fence as the constructions workers flooded the grounds. He had tried hard to save the Twilight Drive In but at the end of the day, it hadn’t paid off and he had pretty much lost everything. With his bag slung carelessly around his shoulder, he walked away from the feeling of comfort and safety, his home.

He found himself sitting in a lonesome booth at Pop’s, trying to pull through the lowest moment he had suffered in a long time. He was pretty much having a existential crisis. Where would he go? Could he tell anybody? Would Jellybean ever be able to come home?

“You look even more depressed than you usually do,” Veronica Lodge slid into the opposite side of the booth out of nowhere, sundae in hand. “Is it about the Drive In?”

A part of Jughead wanted to get up and leave, but he knew she would keep persisting and he was tired of closing himself off, so he decided to open up… slightly.

“It just… it meant a lot to me Ronnie. I’m trying to carry a lot of cooped up stress on my shoulders and this on top just hasn’t exactly helped,” He sighed, rubbing his face. Veronica slid her sundae across the table, over to him, knowing that if she were to cheer him up, food would be the place to start.

“You sound like you need a break, something refreshing, something new,” She tapped the table, her sharp nails creating a loud drum beat. Suddenly she squealed, clasping her hands together with delight, which caused Jughead to look at her warily.

“What do you have in mind?” He groaned, anticipating the worst as she shuffled around excitedly.

“Clubbing!” She proposed and the groaning intensified. “Hear me out, you can just sit at the side, with a drink and your phone doing whatever the hell you want to do. Fresh environment, fresh faces, who knows what could happen? It’s exciting, live a little!” Veronica was already texting Josie and co, spreading the word.

“I wouldn’t exactly call a club, surrounded by sweaty, tight bodies ‘fresh’, would you?” Jughead retorted, but Veronica wasn’t listening.

“Josie, Kevin, Joaquin, Reg- actually maybe not Reggie, you two aren’t exactly the best of friends,” This caused Jughead to scoff, as Veronica continued to scroll through her contacts list. There was no way in hell, Jughead Jones was going clubbing.

“So how the hell did you get Jughead Jones to go clubbing?” Kevin whispered to Veronica, as they stood in the queue outside Riverdale’s most infamous new club, “Flash”. Jughead stood in front of them, wearing a grey hoodie with some black jeans, his usual beanie still in place.

“Let’s just say, that boy is Scooby Doo. Pop’s burgers are his scooby snacks,” Veronica smirked smugly, ignoring the fact that Jughead looked more uncomfortable then he’d been when he first met Nana Blossom.

There was no way he was going to enjoy this evening.

Believe it or not, he found a way to enjoy his evening. Veronica and her entourage immediately headed for the dance floor, but Jughead had decided to go straight for the bar. He watched the TV in the corner, showcasing sports highlights from the day and general news, whilst absentmindedly ordering more and more drinks as the night went on. Jughead was one of those drinkers where he seemed more emotional, more open but at the same time more confident. He decided he would try and find his friends on the dance floor.

The club was dimly lit, and he was already stumbling down the stairs. He ended up tripping on the last step, flying forward until someone caught his arms, steadying him.

“Hey watch it, who do you th-” You paused.

You couldn’t help but laugh at the boy in front of you. He grinned at your laughter and you pulled him out of the middle of the crowd of grinding bodies, to the side, where the two of you sat down in an empty booth. Neither of you knew why, but you were just going with the flow for once.

“You have a really nice laugh,” Jughead smiled once your laughing fit had died down. You were glad the club was dark, as the blush on your face wasn’t as evident.

“Thanks, you too I guess,” You reached into your purse for a bottle of water, chugging half of it down before sliding it across the table to him and gesturing for him to drink. He nodded, as a silent way of saying thanks. “My name’s (Y/N),” You giggled again, sticking your hand out for him to shake. He did so, smiling brightly.

“Jughead,” He responded. You looked at him, puzzled.

“I may be drunk but did you just say Jughead?” You raised an eyebrow skeptically, and Jughead laughed once more, nodding his head erratically which caused you to burst into another fit of giggles. Your laughter sent butterflies swarming through his stomach, and it seemed so cliche but your smile seemed to light up the darkness of your surroundings.

“Hey, Drughead,” You paused, waiting for his reaction to his new nickname and his laughter stopped as he gave you a playful glare. “Wanna dance?” You bit your lip, nodding your head towards the dance floor, as the speakers blasted out an upbeat song.

“I can’t really dance,” Jughead scratched his neck awkwardly and you rolled your eyes, climbing out of the booth. His heart felt heavy all of the sudden with the thought of you leaving him, but suddenly, you grabbed his hands and pulled him along with you.

“Nonsense my amigo, just let loose and move around, it’s not rocket science. We’ll go for a round of drinks after, on me, I promise,” You pouted with the puppy dog eyes, which weren’t that effective considering Jughead couldn’t really see them, but he reluctantly gave in, shaking his head at you as you excitedly dragged him towards the centre of the club.

“Who’s idea was this?” You moaned, as another load of vomit blurted from your mouth and into the toilet. You were currently in one of the club’s empty bathroom cubicles, throwing up the contents of whatever you had drunk into a dirty toilet. Jughead, being a gentleman, had come with you and helped you hold your hair back as you continued to puke.

“Yours,” Jughead sighed, cringing at the odour that the sick-filled toilet was now giving off.

“Oh yeah,” You chuckled before another round of sick came, causing Jughead to shield his eyes. This went on for another 10 minutes or so.

“Geez, I’m sorry Jughead, this probably wasn’t how you were planning to spend your evening,” You looked down at the floor, embarrassed and almost ashamed. You wiped your mouth with some baby wipes that you had stored in advance in your purse, feeling guilty and selfish.

Jughead shook his head with a laugh and smiled at you. “It’s been a lot more eventful and… interesting than I planned. But that’s not a bad thing.”

A rosy blush crept its way onto your cheeks, and you timidly smiled at the floor. When you looked back up, he was staring at you intensely, which caused your blush to deepen. You were about to ask him if anything was wrong, before he interrupted you.

“I’m homeless,” He suddenly confessed, still staring at you. There was a pause.

“Pardon?” You mumbled in return, not sure if you had heard him clearly.

“I’m homeless. I don’t want to live with my Dad because he has an alcohol addiction and drove my family away from home. That included my little sister, who was pretty much my partner in crime. We spent every day together, playing spies and detectives, reading comics, playing video games or doing whatever we could to pass the time. Sometimes we would just sit and talk in my room, with music playing in the background and she would parade around in my beanie, doing impressions of me. She was only 7, she’s 10 though now. We would hide in the trunk of our car so that we didn’t have to pay as much to get into the Drive In, and we would spend so much time just watching movies together. When they left, I went to live in the Drive In, it reminded me of her. But now they’re tearing it down to build God knows what. They’re taking away the last piece I have of my sister that’s here in Riverdale and now I have nowhere to go and I don’t know what to do an-” Jughead suddenly realised he was releasing the secrets that had been weighing him down for so long, to a total stranger… in a toilet cubicle.

He’d only known you for a few hours and he’d just given you the short version of his life story. How could he trust someone so foreign like this? Was it just the drink talking? Jughead wasn’t sure.

You sat there, mouth agape, trying to comprehend his rushed words. You opened your mouth several times to speak, but you couldn’t seem to form proper words. Jughead’s intense stare remained, as he awaited your reaction. You shuffled along the floor, closer to him before smiling up at him, reassuringly.

“Your sister, she sounds like a lovely girl,” You watched as his eyes suddenly sparkled. A wave of sobriety hit him like a brick, as he stared at you in this moment. He felt an odd desire to spend every day with you, to talk to you, to get to know you, to understand you. To hold your hand and spontaneously kiss you. To promise he would always be there for you… to marry you. But that’s what love is… right? The feeling of wanting to be with someone forever. These days, love didn’t always last long. But that first feeling, that first, powerful touch. You wanted to spend the rest of your days at the side of that person.

But this wasn’t love… right? He’d only known you for a few hours. No, it couldn’t be love… yet.

“She is,” He whispered, before reaching forward and pulling you closer to his chest, into a tight embrace. He’d never been like this with anyone before, let alone a practical stranger. You willingly fell into his arms. resting your head on his shoulder. Suddenly, you began laughing again, pulling back to stare at him.

“Hey, hey. Your life is shit, you should stay at mine considering you’re homeless and shit. Man that sucks,” You gave an exaggerated pout and Jughead rolled his eyes with a sad chuckle.

“I think that’s the drink talking (Y/N), I’ll walk you home okay?” He stood up, holding out his hands to pull you off of the floor.

“But where will you go?” You crossed your arms, eyes laced with true concern.

“I’ve got some friends that won’t mind me couch surfing for the night,” He assured you but your eyebrow raise was clearly skeptical. “Trust me.”

He wouldn’t let you object, despite your stubborn nature, as he pulled you of the club. He held your hand, almost protectively, as he walked you home. Little did he realise that when you left the club, Veronica Lodge was busy trying to figure out the name of the ‘mysterious girl’ that Jughead had left with, so she could come up with a ship name.

You directed Jughead towards your house and as you walked up the drive, you planted a soft but lingering kiss on his cheek, before slipping something in his pocket. You quickly rushed to your front door, turning around to wave him goodbye before rushing inside.

Jughead stayed there for a while, embracing the ghost of your lips on his cheek. He stuffed his hands in his pockets as he left, before pausing. He took out a crumpled napkin, that had been at the bar of the club. On the napkin, scribbled messily in black sharpie, was a phone number along with the message; Seeya around Drughead.

He looked up to the window of your bedroom, only to see you giddily smiling at him. He smirked up at you, before confidently strutting down the street.

It just seemed to keep going forward from there. Jughead had texted you the second he got home, and you weren’t going to make him wait for a reply. Who cares if you came off as eager, this was the first guy that you had met whilst you were out for the night who hadn’t come off as a complete douchebag.

Jughead however, was new to this. He didn’t know what he was doing and was afraid you only liked him because you were in the heat of the moment or drunk. So he was less frequent with the texts, attempting to play it cool. He didn’t exactly want to pour his soul out over text, on how he felt that you were beautiful and funny and made him feel confident and worth something. Slowly though, over time his dorky attitude let loose and it honestly made you love him more.

You too, had felt something that night at the club. You too, believed it was in the heat of the moment. But you didn’t want to let that moment go. You had spent the past 8 months building up your relationship with Jughead, and now you truly begun to feel the extent of what you felt that night. You spent hours on end in Pop’s. Talking about Jellybean, school, his Dad. He finally had someone to act as his own diary, someone who he could just tell everything about. It felt so nice to let the secrets, that had been acting as weights on his shoulders, go.

There was one day in Pop’s where you were talking about your own family. Describing your younger brother’s hobbies and annoying habits as if they were the most interesting things in the world. He loved the way that your hands would make big gestures, and your facial expressions would deliver a variety of emotions to go along with your story. This made sense, as you had told him before about how badly you wanted to be an actress. Sometimes, he would run lines with you or listen to you deliver a monologue. You loved doing something that you loved with him, and would even sometimes print a script off of the internet and lie it was for an audition, when you really just wanted to read and act with him.

Jughead’s attention was not focused currently on your story though. He was thinking about the two of you, your future. He wanted to ask you out, make it romantic, something special that the two of you would never forget. From there you would never stop loving each other, you’d have children, live together in a modern apartment. He would work as a novelist whilst you worked as an actress. He contemplated marriage, but he was scared of the idea. He had always wanted to avoid something like marriage. His parents were living proof that marriage wasn’t a happy ever after written in stone. But the two of you weren’t your parents. You were different.

He took in your features. You were so beautiful to him. Every part. Your flaws were no different to your redeeming qualities, in that they made Jughead just love you more. Even as you got older, you would age gracefully, never losing that beauty that you possessed. Those passionate eyes that sparkled whenever you told your stories or took on a character. Your eyes said a million words with just one blink. Your kids would have those eyes, your nose too. Jughead’s moles. They would all look beautiful, just like you did. Jughead would wake up before you, so he could make you breakfast in bed. You would be awake by this point though because the kids would be jumping on your bed, like they did in the movies, chanting your name. He would tell the kids to go get dressed for school, breakfast tray in hand, delivered fresh along with a sweet kiss on your head. It would all come back to that night.

Jughead never thought he’d say this but, thank god for the stubborn Veronica Lodge. Speaking of Veronica, she was the most hardcore shipper of your relationship ever, and was practically the paparazzi whenever you two were seen in public at school or at Pop’s.

When you finally became a couple, it’s not like the two of you would never have arguments. You did of course. Who would you be if you didn’t have arguments? They were mostly over stupid, careless little things though or momentary disagreements. Sometimes he wouldn’t feel like he was good enough for you, sometimes it would be the other way round. Any arguments, big or small, would always end in a cuddle and movie session. When they passed though, your relationship came back, stronger and tougher than it had been before and that’s what mattered. You weren’t going to let something small escalate and hurt the two of you. Nothing was worth that.

You did get married one day. You defied standards and stayed together for as long as you could, sticking to your marriage vows, living your lives to the fullest as mature adults.

Or at least you would of. If only…

“Hey watch it, who do you thi-” You paused.

You couldn’t help but laugh at the boy in front of you. He stiffened. You looked so beautiful, somehow lighting up the dimly lit club with your smile. He awkwardly broke apart. Nope, this isn’t what he wanted. He was already mildly drunk and he hated it. It reminded him of his Dad. He didn’t want to be here anymore. He stepped back abruptly, bumping into another couple. He looked to the floor, shoving past you as he made his way out of the club, leaving you standing by the stairs, bewildered.

If only…

Whoops I decided to be a bitch ahahaha sorry not sorry, if you want to blame someone, blame @kingpendleton and @betty-coopers-number-one-stan with their surprise plot twisty angsty ending thingies, I had them in mind whilst making this.

The ending was also an excuse as to why the middle part made no sense I guess, and how they were ‘in love’ so quick.

;)
