Cherie had known when she ran from the scene of the crime that her guilt would remain, but it had been days and it hadn’t faded. Paranoia had gotten the best of her and though she tried to hide it she was on edge. Sitting in the library she stared at a text book trying to comprehend what she was supposed to have learned all year in potions to no avail. It was useless. She was going to simply fail fifth year, that was for sure. Suddenly, she heard someone behind and nearly jumped out of her skin and shrieked at the top of her lungs.
