DAY 2658

Jalsa, Mumbai                July  22/23,  2015              Wed/Thu  12:25 am

No birthdays to compliment, no Ef to bring greetings to, no wishes that need to be mentioned for loved ones .. so .. some thoughts from my Father’s works, which have been shared on the other two mediums Twitter and FB ..

It is a prayer .. it is a satire, it is a view, it is a thought bound in the most generous wrappings of philosophic endearment !!

Those that have read or have known of it .. do spend time with it again, and try to understand that which needs to be understood .. and pass the translation on to those that suffer with Hindi devnaagri ..

Those that do not understand the basis .. well ….

एक प्रार्थना

हे भगवन !
इस देश में
काव्यकला का विकास हो ,
मूर्तिकला ,
संगीतकला ,
चित्रकला आदि चौंसठ कलाओं का ,
विचित्रकला तक का विकास हो ;
सिद्ध करने की कला का विकास कभी न हो ;

A prayer to those that look for the progress and the furtherance of poetry and the arts and all that is connected to it, dear Lord do so, do enhance the furtherance of all the 64 arts that exist, but dear Lord do not allow those that undertake the idea of furthering the art of proving one self, of justifying, give grounds for, give reason for .. to be entertained ..

And spending so much time, so much dedicated time, on the words of my Father, further frustrates me, for I now realise the loss of opportunity of spending greater time with him in discussion and explanation, and thought behind all that he conceived and imagined and brought down to, in its poetic form ..

Each turning page now excites the intelligence of mind, entertains the prowess of those that have the gift of writing, that have through time and ages gauged and studied existence and life in such intricate detail, that today their expressions of rhythm penetrate the hemispheres of those planetary unseen unknown worlds, with such deep vision and surprisingly magical prediction.

We shall bed tonight after a day gone by, lament the issues that we encountered - a fused electronic device, a leaked ceiling, a dented automobile, an anguished phone call, a fruitless discussion …

But will have wasted all that, in not immersing ourselves in the worlds of visionaries, that bring to us in such simple yet unbeatable wording, the worldly truths that may never have occurred to us .. a pity … a pity of unmeasured proportion ..

I shall post some photographs now, designed to attract the Ef, in various shades and shapes … they that shall see this, shall put in their own creativity, their own colours and their own worded feelings, exalted in temperament and filled with buckets of affection and love, and re post it to me … I shall admire them, retweet them, comment upon them .. those that I overlook out of error shall bring me complaint and angst to not have noticed them, to not have given adequate reply, to imagine my possible reaction with “i hope you are not annoyed with me” .. and shall move on to the next day ..

I .. hehe … I shall dwell in the feelings of my Father .. lay back in the loneliness of my slumber, sing, reminisce, analyse, put meaning for today’s world and circumstance … and with anxious wait for the morning, look to page through another such exercise ..

You are driven … driven by the degree of contact that brings you here and brings you in proximity with my conversation .. I am alive and in person ..

My Father is not … not alive or in person ..

BUT .. I shall benefit  … benefit, for he has left the world in body .. but left his soul in his extractions of life for me ..

I am blessed  !! No .. maybe that would be too selfish a remark. We are all blessed .. blessed equally, admirably and in regard .. our degree of blessings need assessment .. not by others, but by ourselves ..

We are alive .. we are breathing .. we are living ..
