random question: why do you hate the ø sound so much? like we have that sound in french (though we write it eu) and it’s not the prettiest sound but it’s not that horrible

i don’t hate it exactly… i’m a bit judgemental towards the letters æ and ø because they are prominent in my dialect and i have some internalized trønderphobia going on.

in THIS case however, it’s mostly that it looks like a horrible attempt at an ~*aesthetic spelling*~ of the name harlock, which is a character in thrilling intent. i’m trying not to be so judgemental of ~*aesthetic spellings*~ but good lord it really grates my nerves
