The Eleanor and Park Playlist

So I have compiled here a playlist of songs that I feel suit the novel Eleanor and Park by Rainbow Rowell. Music is a big part of the book, it adds atmosphere to the story. And I love how music is one of the platforms used to build Eleanor and Park’s relationship.

So I’ve tried my best to get songs that fit in with that atmosphere. Some of these songs are even songs that Eleanor or Park might have listened to as they are set in the same time period or are artists that are mentioned in the book

Miguel Ferrer has passed away - he was only 61.

He was brilliant at playing bad guys (e.g. in Robocop), but my favourite role of his was Special Agent Albert Rosenfield in Twin Peaks. This speech in particular is wonderful.

Rest in peace, sir.

Gotham Fandom, I’m low-key disappointed. I’m hoping someone else has posted about it and I’ve just missed it in my browsing of the tags, but seriously guys… Not ONE post about the fact that This guy:

I CANNOT be the only one who got a kick out of that. I can’t be the only one who was tickled that they got David Dastmalchian for this. It’s the guy who played Thomas Shiff, who Batman describes as having “the kind of mind that the Joker attracts.”

It’s not even just that he’s been in the Batman franchise before. All the fangirling/fanboying over Jerome and the Joker-isms and we ignore the fact that guy who’s bringing Jerome back to life is played by the same guy who was one of this unstable recruits/lackies in “The Dark Knight?” Guys, Joker’s Thug is trying to bring him back to life (If they do keep going in this “Jerome is the Joker track).

Honestly, this was my favorite part of the whole episode.
