idk this scene is just

Okay I’m currently crying real tears because Kat, who’s recently revealed that she might be interested in women, walked in on her friend Jane, a straight girl, changing, said “Hey Sexy”, continued having a conversation with her while she was changing, and then ended the convo with a friendly slap on the ass and in no way was Jane uncomfortable or say anything weird like “don’t enjoy the view too much haha” or ANYTHING she was just OKAY with it because they’re FRIENDS and this is assumedly how they’ve always acted and Kat being attracted to girls hasn’t changed that and I’m FINE

“This (scene) was something- we all felt it, we all looked back and everyone was like, you can’t put your finger on it, you know that it’s good but there’s something that’s missing. We took a break and we came back and it’s really something that she (Ashley) did in the scene that completely changed it. It was something improvised, it’s when she says “Everyone has left me, everyone- fucking except for you”. She pushes Joel, it’s the first time she’s gotten physical with him and on the surface it looks like this petulant child but at the same time you see strength […]” - Troy Baker

I think one of my favorite details about BH6 is that this scene starts out with the lighting being pretty dark (and symbolic to Hiro’s overall mood)…

…but Aunt Cass comes in and tries to bring him a little light…

…only for him to shut that light out…

…and his friends send him a video and they’re all in this super bright setting and trying to cheer him up…

…only for him to shut that light out as well…

…but when Baymax is activated, things change. Tadashi’s side of the room is suddenly bright with the sunlight coming in.

Baymax quite literally brought light into Hiro’s life again
