Currently on display at Last Rites Gallery in New York City, New York is artist Chet Zar’s solo show, “The Demon Show.” By portraying the undead in his work, Chet focuses in on the ideas of loneliness and insecurity and how they might connect us to the unknown - such as zombies, demons and other forms of darkness. The show is on display until July 23rd, 2015.

Last weekend, Santa Monica’s Copro Gallery debuted their exhibition “Conjoined V,” guest curated by artist Chet Zar. True to Zar’s own dark, surreal aesthetic, the annual sculpture show features a variety of emerging and established artists with a penchant for all things creepy, curious, and bizarre. Kazu Tsuji’s gigantic, silicone bust of Salvador Dali, Jessica Joslin’s metal-adorned taxidermy animals, and surreal imaginings by Craig LaRotonda and Jim McKenzie are among the myriad of bold and pop culture-inspired works in the show. Take a look at some highlights from “Conjoined V” below and see it in person through February 14.
Just an observation : at 0:43 someone pointing them telling them to kiss and Zayn kisses only her cheek and just leaves at 0:50 . The big guy follows him and brings him back at 0:57 for a proper kiss. He kisses her nicely (still on the cheek) at1:05. and bolts off holding Patricia’s at 1:13 like we all do when we need our mother.
